I really enjoy and recommend Montale's Oud Dream. It's definitely not the most potent of the Montale fragrances, but it's a beautiful mix of oud, patchouli, and rose.
Aoud night is supposed to be there. It performs so well. I have black aoud as well but each time I wear aoud night, my room and anywhere I step into is filled with the notes from the perfume.
I laughed out loud when I first sniffed Mancera's 'Instant Crush': it smells uncomfortably similar to Baccarat Rouge 540. How do companies get away with this? I also wonder what happened with Dior's HUUUUUGELY popular commercial smash 'Miss Dior Cherie', the original one. How can something like that just disappear from the market with no fuss or consumer backlash whatsoever?! It just goes to show where all these big bucks go when paying tech experts to 'bury' things online and make things just disappear quietly from all online chats, algorithm workings and basic search results. Disappearing and having no outcry from devoted fans, no explanation in glossy magazines etc just seems very stage-managed. If anybody misses the old strawberry-toffee-popcorn scent of Miss Dior Cherie then they can always buy stuff from Soap & Glory, who came along hot on the tail of Miss Dior Cherie and totally ripped it off, successfully with absolutely no legal issues. That we know of.
Great video! Arabians tonka is my favorite and I'm a female. Love at first sniff. I even have a back up bottle. Compliments everytime I wear it. Lasted for 3 days on my coat during the winter then I had to wash it. Sweet Vanilla is my second favorite Montale. Intense tiare almost choked me out so I gave it away.
I love it too, it's unique. It's really strong and long lasting, one or two sprays and that's enough. First perfume that lasts more than one Day on my skin. Unbelievable.
If intense cafe had not come out before, I would have purchased Ristreto as it is less sweet and more coffee forward. I can’t justify owning both. Roses musk is beautiful an almost masculine rose.
Yo Sebastian!! Montale Oud tobacco is a BEAST!? It smells sexy. It's like a cherry tobacco, woody type frag. It's gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing, I'd like to explore the house a little more as Oud tobacco is my only frag from the house.
I should try some of those- especially Intense Cafe and one of the ouds. My only Montale experience was bad though- Chocolate Greedy smells like creamed corn to me after 2 minutes..
Chocolate Greedy actualy works on me great, intense café on the other hand was to "fem" on me so I gave it to my wife. But Honey Aoud is awsome on the both of us..

I have been on a huge true cologne kick here lately and have been bathing in Guerlain Impérial, Du Coq, and 4711. Good job as usual. My favorite fragrance from this house, and in my personal top 3 is, Dark Aoud. Absolutely beautiful. I love Black Aoud. Last forever. Honey Aoud is great. Cuir d'Arabie is also magnificent, but took some getting used to.
I can’t speak to any on your list since I’m a middle-aged newbie, but I bought a sample of Aoud Damascus and love it. Rose and our are the main players I think. It reminds me a bit of Santal Royal by Guerlain (also a sample). Worth a blind buy in my opinion.
I think you would like Aoud Musk (similar to Duro by Nassomato) , Stary Night (similar to More than Words by Xerjoff) and Dark Purple (similar to Plum Japanese by Tom Ford) but all different enough :)

Hi Sebastian! There's one fragrance no hyped at all but excellent and different from the collection, this is Aoud Lagoon. No oud here, just a little bit woody but mainly floral and fresh. Very delicious to try
I also thought that Black Aoud is the strongest from Monty, until a couple weeks ago I found out - Leather Patchouli (but I prefer to called it Patchouli Leather, because patch there way more prominent) It’s a 100% beast mode fragrance on any skin! Very strong! Great combination & great fragrance. I’m sure you gonna like it 👌🏽 I’m not a huge fan of this brand, but still got some favs from it: Oudmazing, Mukhallat, Black Aoud, Arabians, Sweet Oriental Dream & my new love Patchouli Leather
To my logic, they are named right, because Leather Patchouli it is referring to Patchouli ,it is describing the patchouli giving it a surname "leathery".

Good video as always, but I'm intrigued as to which one is your favourite... Arabians Tonka or Patchouli leaves maybe? I also spray on my mask, akes the experience a little less bad... having to wear it all the time. I know a few Montale's and like them, but for me they can get slightly cloying, even if the smell is good... I generally like a more relaxing experience with the perfume, not subdued, but not as intense either.
Definitely getting a few! I was waiting for July (birthday) to buy Psychédélique de Jovoy but maybe I try Montale offering of Patchouli 🍃 before then. Such good ones: Sensual Instinct, Tonka... just thanks!

One I found VERY potent from MONTALE was ROSES MUSK!! I can't go near it and gave my sample away. Surprising for a name that sounds so soft and delicate. I love INTENSE CAFE, on my list to-try are FULL INCENSE and HONEY AOUD, I've ordered samples of each. I'm glad to hear Full Incense isn't too loud, the ambery touches sound lovely. Can you pick up much of the Patchouli in that one??

I'm starting to think the decant I purchased of Oudmazing isn't actually that...this is another list that I've seen that doesn't have it ranked high (or at all) as far as potency. For me, and what I believe to be Oudmazing, this is a fragrance that lasts days and days on skin and forever on clothing. It's the fragrance that single-handedly sparked my interest in collecting fragrances. Sebastian, what are your thoughts on Oudmazing?

Oud Tobacco is the only one that smells... different than other Montale creations. 9/10 from me. Honey Aoud has a medicinal oud note... but it's good. Arabians Tonka is strictly for winter... unless you want to smell like a badger who spent holidays in a basket of spices. 😂
What are the blind buys for Montale male perfumes? İ don't have any niche fragrances; my current daily scents: Chanel Bleu, oud woud, jpg Ultramale edp İ have smelled Starry nigjts already.. RV, AT lean unisex to masculine. I don''t know White Aoud much and IC and SI are femme leaning but unisex. So? I would add Fougere's Marines, Santal Wood, Black Aoud and Woods & Spices.

Shakila Yusufi Sure. Intense Café is Coffee Rose dominated. Coffee here tho isn't the black coffee more of a latte. Rose here is jammy not fresh. Very unisex. Perfect for colder weather. Black Aoud is a beast. Saffron Rose oud. A bit linear from start until end. Very strong opening. Lasts forever. Aoud Damascus fresh rose and light oud. Opens synthetic sharp rose. And drydowns with light oud. This one's my most favorite amongst the 3. 🖤

i had Intense Cafè, not my favorite one but people around me loved it. I bought sensual instinct but i don't like it. I m buying arabians tonka next week, while people find it masculine in fragrantica, i don't.
I have other Montale fragances. I have Orange flowers, Aoud red flowers, and Aoud musk, and they all smell spectaculair, long lasting and q awesome notes that smell bright!
i love anise and black liquorice. i had montales aoud greedy. the liquorice was good. laurent mazzone cicatrices is much more intensive. the power of lolita lempicka is gone unfortunately.

I think the reason I haven't added any Montale fragrances to my collection, while loving Arabians Tonka and being a self proclamed "Tonka ho" 🤣🤣🤣, the bottle is hideous and so friggin noisy.
If you liked Comme Des Garcon Incense Avignon but wanted more casual notes then Full Incense is a must try. Not as Churchy Incense Avignon,but still great.

Aoud Lime by Montale is also potent. Red Aoud too works for 24 hours plus on my skin and clothes. Please review Montale Intense So Iris.

I'm starting to think the decant I purchased of Oudmazing isn't actually that...this is another list that I've seen that doesn't have it ranked high (or at all) as far as potency. For me, and what I believe to be Oudmazing, this is a fragrance that lasts days and days on skin and forever on clothing. It's the fragrance that single-handedly sparked my interest in collecting fragrances. Sebastian, what are your thoughts on Oudmazing?

Oud Tobacco is the only one that smells... different than other Montale creations. 9/10 from me.
Honey Aoud has a medicinal oud note... but it's good.
Arabians Tonka is strictly for winter... unless you want to smell like a badger who spent holidays in a basket of spices. 😂

RV, AT lean unisex to masculine. I don''t know White Aoud much and IC and SI are femme leaning but unisex. So? I would add Fougere's Marines, Santal Wood, Black Aoud and Woods & Spices.

Intense Café is Coffee Rose dominated. Coffee here tho isn't the black coffee more of a latte. Rose here is jammy not fresh. Very unisex. Perfect for colder weather.
Black Aoud is a beast. Saffron Rose oud. A bit linear from start until end. Very strong opening. Lasts forever.
Aoud Damascus fresh rose and light oud. Opens synthetic sharp rose. And drydowns with light oud. This one's my most favorite amongst the 3.

i had Intense Cafè, not my favorite one but people around me loved it. I bought sensual instinct but i don't like it. I m buying arabians tonka next week, while people find it masculine in fragrantica, i don't.
fragrantica reviews are all over the place. i like the site but i can't take the reviews very seriously.

I have other Montale fragances. I have Orange flowers, Aoud red flowers, and Aoud musk, and they all smell spectaculair, long lasting and q awesome notes that smell bright!
i love anise and black liquorice. i had montales aoud greedy. the liquorice was good. laurent mazzone cicatrices is much more intensive. the power of lolita lempicka is gone unfortunately.
Full Inscence smells like church and lasts for days.

I think the reason I haven't added any Montale fragrances to my collection, while loving Arabians Tonka and being a self proclamed "Tonka ho" 🤣🤣🤣, the bottle is hideous and so friggin noisy.
If you liked Comme Des Garcon Incense Avignon but wanted more casual notes then Full Incense is a must try. Not as Churchy Incense Avignon,but still great.
