Buc-ee's is a must stop for us on any RV trip! Here's our pet peeve when gassing up with our trailer there; customers who pump their gas and then leave their car at the pump and go inside to shop. You just don't run into a Buc-ee's to grab and go, it's impossible. So park your vehicle in a parking spot when you are done fueling up!
Buc-ee's should provide indoor (or outdoor) tables and chairs to sit and eat your purchase. I sit in my vehicle at the pump under the shade canopy to enjoy my sandwich, etc. Buc-ees should know better.
Glad you enjoyed our historic town. We moved here 34 yrs ago and lovee it. 1 mile from a pristine beach and 10 miles from the busy town. We love our pod when we travel too. 😊
Thanks for a good video. I enjoy seeing the kids and their viewpoints. They are really growing up. FYI - Our RV has a bath and a half and there are just two of us. We love it. Thanks again.
We've been to St. Augustine several times. We always have such a great time. San Sebastian Winery is a great place to visit. They do wine-tasting tours and underage people can also go on the tour, but not taste the wines. When we went our son was 15. He enjoyed the tour, hearing about how they make the wine (they use muscadines vs grapes) and they had juice for him to try. It was an enjoyable experience.
AWESOME video and this is exactly what we did last summer but stayed at St Augstine RV Resort (except the fort... didn't have our pass and didn't want to pay to get in... 😶)... the cat cafe was an afterthought that my daughter found and was in the rules of "find something you want to do and we'll do it" so we did. St Augustine is definitely on our repeat list. (Hope you guys got to do the late night haunted tour to the old jailhouse!!!!)
Perfect timing. We've been to St Augustine before, but are heading to Ocean Grove RV Resort with a group TOMORROW for several days. Can't wait to park the RV and explore St Augustine again. We live only two hours away, so this is a favorite destination.
When we are not in the camper.... Sandra packs .The first two things that she packs are her coffee creamer and her wine. Because you can't find them everywhere and she refuses to be anywhere without her favorite things.
Not sure if anyone commented, but St. Augustine is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the US. There are other places that are older but no longer inhabited.
We stayed in Wengen for 2 days above Lauterbrunnen on the opposite side of the valley in May 2023....we splurged on tickets to Jungfraujoch...touristy? Yes...worth it ...absolutely! ...so happy to see it this area from your perspective. Funny thing is I had been in Interlochen on a tour with my parents in 1980 and never knew about Lauterbrunnen valley until 2022 lol. Want to go back for a longer visit someday. Thanks for taking us along!
Just went down to St Augustine for the 2nd time this summer in our RV. Our favorite place to go. Did the historic things the first time. Fountain of Youth and light house are a must see.
My family lived in St. Augustine and Sarasota Florida until I was 12, I love St. Augustine. My father worked for Marineland of Florida and we lived on the beach. Lots of fond memories and some of the best were as a young kid going to work with my dad and see the dolphins and pilot whales.
We are only about a hour from St Augistine and visit often on day trips. One of our hidden places near us is fort clinch your son would possibly enjoy finding the shark teeth in front of the fort that is common. Yes Buckees briscuit is awesome ! Enjoy your time
Oh I wish I had known you guys were going there. I lived there for 4 years, 3 in the downtown area. My ex and son are still there. I could have given you so much information . There are also places out and away from there that give even more history of the Minorcans. They were actually brought to New Smyrna Beach area as indebted slaves. but every time they would ask about their time so they can be done, the unjust governor there would restart their time, so they could never be free. They actually left New Smyrna by dark I believe and walked to St Augustine and the governor there took them in. During the day, they went out to work the indigo crops up by the twin rivers area, ugh I can’t remember the names. I would have to google them. They found out indigo wasn’t as lucrative as they. Had hoped and it is now a plant that is growing everywhere and invasive. You need a lot of it to make the dye. By the way, Thank you for your channel. I bought my RV in June, I now live in it but need to find more online jobs as i build my business so i can travel . You have given me some of the greatest information!! I hope i run into you guys some day.
Love Whetstones chocolates! Also remember to do a ghost walk at night in St. Augustine! And an historic horse carriage or historic tram ride to hear the many historical trivia in St. Augustine area.
We have one cat. He has 3 litter boxes next to each other and lets us know when he wants them cleaned. He starts with my husband and if he doesn’t clean the boxes quickly enough then he comes over to me and lets me know what he wants
There’s a restaurant in St Austin’s on a wedge. I can’t remember the name but there is an outside patio, live music and great food. There’s a parking lot across the street just for restaurants patrons.
Real world question. What window covering is best in front of the sink window? Im ready to get tear offs like Nascar uses on their car windshields. Is this really only a me problem?
For the last year I can call a week in advance and get a camp ground this summer in less than a week .. andhet a discount.. this summer in Ohio Pennsylvania Kentucky…. Most campgrounds are half ull or less ..
Been to Bucees once and I will never go again. Horrible experience and just not worth it. Its just an oversized gas station. And now they are building one just down the hwy from me. That is one exit I can avoid.

the reason they went away from beaver tail is because of the Canadian beavertail. and it looks like your son is turning into an attention hog lol. p.s. the free wash, is that just for cars or will it wash an rv
So many famous you tubers have pulled their kids off the video feed. Its always great and home. Warms my heart. Yet in the world we live in it becomes dangerous and draws in preditors. One famous vet rancher with firing range pulled his whole family off and now its just him because of online security issues started becoming serious. You guys talk a lot about safety in RVing. So wonder if you apply same strict rules for you tube.

I had never seen your kids so animated. It is really nice to see them interacting.❤️❤️
Thank you!
Your son is cracking me up. He is taking his new job serious ❤️
That he is 😂
My coworker designed those vacuums. Pro tip: park closest to the vacuum producers and suction should always be good
Very cool! They are designed very well. Thanks for the tip :)

Glad you enjoyed

We just visited St Augustine I agree taking the RV is a lot better then hotels
Gosh, those kids have grown up!!!!
Yes they have 😭
That’s a star Fort! They’re found all over the world. Fascinating subject, I highly recommend.
I love St Augustine..such a wonderful combo of old and new. Thanks for sharing !

LMAOF. Busted out on OG remark and what he thought it meant.

Can't wait for new buccee's next year in West Phoenix, AZ

That cat said, "you are permitted to pet me now, peasant."
The last time I was in St. Augustine was 1975.
Definitely take the trolly ride next time. Prohibition Kitchen is a good restaurant to try, and Zenos taffy is a must stop for us.
Thanks for the tips!
The Buc-ee’s song is cracking me up!!!
My partner can’t live without her coffee cream either!!! LOL!!
Just went down to St Augustine for the 2nd time this summer in our RV. Our favorite place to go. Did the historic things the first time. Fountain of Youth and light house are a must see.
We will be heading there in February.
lol...we have a hide a bed couch :)
Happy to see such happiness 💕
Pulled pork sandwich is to die for!!!! I stop at the same BucEes on my way to Jax!!!
👍
Great video! You need to return in December for the Nights of Lights! & ride the Trolley in the evening. 😊
Thanks for the suggestion! I bet that would be fun.
@GratefulGlamper I hear there are free Christmas music concerts too! @ Basicilla on Dec 19, 7pm
Who doesn't love
🎶 Christmas music? 🎄

Glad you enjoyed
It looked HOT at that fort! I think I would have to visit in January!
It was VERY hot! Winter would be a much preferable time to visit :)

I still mad at Bucees for selling out of Texas! Loved the vlog ❤ where is your sweet dog?
So exciting! We are going to St. Augustine in May on our way to Cocoa Beach.
Enjoy!!
OG = Original Gangsta... brutha
Great tour! We visited there in 2022 and loved it! We love St. Augustine. ❤ Have a great week! ❤🙏 from SC, Jane😊
Thank you! You too!
Fun video to watch
I work for an RV dealer, and noticed the wall thermostat in your hotel room looks identical to the older Coleman RV thermostats.
Interesting!

How funny. I’m a coffee snob as well. If we aren’t in the RV I have a 4 cup pot I always take to the hotel and I ALWAYS have my creamer
You will remember, very fondly, date night with the kids. : .....)
😉

Loved St. A. Great food and history. Took the trolley tour 1st thing to get bearings and advice on where to go.
Good tip! Thanks for watching
I'm going to guess that beaver tail is copyrighted , it's a pastry in canada with different toppings..
Interesting!
I wish there was a buc-ees out west here
Tell the boy OG has meant own goal By a player hitting a football of puck into their own net for over 70 years lol
Wait did you guys get coffee at the shop across from the fort? They are pricey but so good!!
Thanks for the tips
Thanks for watching
Real world question. What window covering is best in front of the sink window? Im ready to get tear offs like Nascar uses on their car windshields. Is this really only a me problem?
Yup. Ya got the St. Augustin burn on ya face.
That we did
But, did you get to hear the cannons?
We did! Unfortunately I wasn’t quick enough to get it on camera :) It startled us for sure as it was loud!
No more part time rentals.. a yearly lease .. if you want to rent that house out ! Air bnb is about to die .. hotels are cheap..
Inquiring mind… Did you go back and watch the cannon show at the fort ? Love you guys. ❤
We did! Thanks for watching

Never been there they don't have them out west
Are the nuggets any good?
They are!
Your videos are entertaining but my gosh, too many 1 minute commercials too frequently.
Thanks for the feedback

With all that solar you couldn’t boondock somewhere?
Very few places to boondock in FL - especially with a 40 foot RV
Who preforms the Buc-red song in your video? Love that place.
It’s an AI song www.tiktok.com/t/ZTFFyyXhG/
Where did your gas cap go.

Who sings that Buccees song?
www.tiktok.com/t/ZTFFyyXhG/
My hubby likes the chicken burrito.
We will have to try that next visit!!
Who sung the Buc-ee's song?
great video
Thanks!
Did you forget to put the gas tank cap on after you filled with Gas???
Interesting fact, our Expedition doesn’t have a gas cap!
@@GratefulGlamper oh ...lol
What happened to Alaska and the kitty?
We had them with a Rover sitter for the weekend
Well, I guess my wife has no brain because she thinks the chicken sandwich is better than the brisket. It’s not!!!
😂
Never doubt the internet
Noithing like a road trip
💯
You should have one more litter box than you do cats. One cat two, two cats three. So, on.
Good to know!
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Does your vehicle have a capless fuel tank?? 🙃
It does! It was weird at first, but got used to it /)
@@GratefulGlamper that's amazing ☺️
the reason they went away from beaver tail is because of the Canadian beavertail. and it looks like your son is turning into an attention hog lol. p.s. the free wash, is that just for cars or will it wash an rv

You can’t over night in a rv at buccees.
We know 😢
@@GratefulGlamper so what’s so special about buccees!! With the rivers ! I look at it as a no go !!
Why are RVs becoming so ignorant.. if you got a daily weekly rental they are becoming illegal.. across the country.. I agree with that ..
How funny. I’m a coffee snob as well. If we aren’t in the RV I have a 4 cup pot I always take to the hotel and I ALWAYS have my creamer
Good to know I (Charity) am not alone!
