i think her attitude towards this is inspiring. Tackling it head on, treating it as positive news (And it really is imo) and just pushing forward with this. The shorts are awesome, the ones she posted on her big break earlier in the year was great and if she can come up with a silent stream idea she likes and wants to do i am all for it. I am sure during this month and a half she will keep us busy in some way or another

Ah, chronic rhinitis... a mortal enemy of mine as well. Pretty much have to keep the sinuses clear and use Flovent to keep polyps from forming on the sinus cavity walls. Didn't think about it affecting your voice outside of being nasally when you're stuffy, but here we are. Taking care of the small nodule first is a novel approach, but like Sui-chan said, it's the one part of the issue that would affect her voice the most, so yeah. Sending good vibes and prayers her way during the 1.5 month break for the surgery and recovery.

I too had this and thought it was chronic rhinitis with the mucus going down my throat every day BUT it was actually Laryngeal pharyngeal reflux, stomach acid and pepsin going up my throat and sometimes my sinuses witch it turn was causing irritation with mucus maybe you have this or Sui -chan i don't know just check with your doctor. (Sometimes this is called silent reflux because you don't feel the typical sympoms of acid reflux)

The Flonase helps keep them from forming again, allowing the sinuses to properly remove foreign allergens (most likely mold spores, which I haven't had to deal with since moving out of an old apartment).

Honestly, Cover should institute a periodic, mandatory break where they keep the channels on float with small videos and maybe even something like recaps and stuff along that vein. I'm honestly gobsmacked that so far, it's all been just some surgery here, surgery there, rest period and such. I don't know how much others know, but i have friends who are professional opera singers and overusing your voice, which is basically their golden geese, is frowned upon and even forbidden in some places (they'll be straight up refused in some venues if they do too many, likely to avoid lawsuits and such). And the reason is it can get REALLY bad, like horrific, within the context of a voice user. Loss of voice, permanent damage etc.
No matter how the doctor said it doesn't have any risk, a surgery is still a scary thing to do, but the way Sui-chan talks about it really radiates positive energy that makes me at ease and trust that everything going to be well. Hoping only the best to happens for Sui-chan, hope she also take a good rest during this break, well I think we'll going to have a lots of update of Sui-chan from Miko tho 😂

It's a routine surgery with a high success rate. She's young so she should fly through this one without any problems (knock on wood).
