      If only folks knew what some of this stuff would be worth someday!

      In a way I kind of knew but but Gene couldn't stand the idea of people poking around our yard taking stuff, but still. I never did a full inventory but for sure there was a 67' Cougar, a huge 67 Galaxie Coupe, and a nice 63' GMC longstepside that after watching some other vids was easily a runner.

    This is a great show! Some of the prices are affordable. I think it was 28 minutes and it was a GMC flatbed. He said he used to have a camper on it so those are you generally cabover with the back of the cab cut out so you can walk between the bucket seats in the cab into the Winnebago whichever conversion you may have had parrot it also if that was actually a camper I would say that the back of the frame had been cut some. I'm just judging by the one that I own. And 3,800 is that what you said the price that truck was? Seems cheap enough. I think my favorite one was the 67 at the beginning of your episode here. That was a very straight old truck

      Thanks! Yes sir the GMC flatbed was originally a camper from what the owner claimed. Like you I would have expected it to have the rear part of the cab cut out. I wonder how the camper would have been configured without the cutout? There were quite a few straight old trucks at this year's meet. I'm just sad that everything is now creeping way beyond my budget. Fortunately we have dozens of trucks at home bought back when you could get them for a few hundred bucks.

      @@downsouthjunking8180 yeah that's the only way I'd be able to afford some of what I have. Because I bought them sometime back when they cheaper. The other thing about the reporter camper conversion to flatbed, is that it set up high on back. And you think that you want on the sexual so you wouldn't have so many steps. Of course trucks get changed around just like cars.

      Unfortunately, I don't know. We only talked to him for a few minutes. It was definitely one of the best deals out there.

      Did you hear it run?

    • @downsouthjunking8180
      @downsouthjunking8180  7 месяцев назад

      No, we didn't, unfortunately. He said it ran, but I don't think it was fully turn key. I think it ran but in a hot wire it and pour gas down the carb kind of way. I could be wrong though.

      From my understanding, they were selling it for charity to the highest offer they receive.

    I am allways a GM guy but i will say the mustang parts people really sell everything... I can not buy quality 1982 Camaro interior pars but you can guarantee 1982 mustang parts are reproduced. 82 camaro parts i have bought are cheap chinese poor fitting junk that often turns up broken or breaks fitting them. steve in Australia.

      I will go into my RUclips Studio account and see how they have the commercials set up. No matter what I request, there are always going to be some ads, but there shouldn’t be constant ads. I dont want that either, because it reduces the enjoyment of the content. However, creators are limited on what we can request YT to do when it comes to ads.
