As an Indian, the line ‘flows a stream of Saxon gore’ warms the heart
People around the world have lots of thoughts about a lot of things but almost all of us can agree on at least one thing: Fuck the English.
Good man
As a Frenchman, I share the sentiment
As a spaniard with also irish roots i cannot agree more. Cheers lads!
@@mathieushifera135 As a Frenchman you're lucky to have Saxons to fight your battles for you.....otherwise you'd be speaking German. lol
Battering it out loud, clear and fast. Love it!
Hands down the best version of this song. Top notch arrangement with A list players on every instrument featured in the video. Absolute class. I keep watching this video each month. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Brilliant arrangement and tempo really enjoyed it.
Fantastic job on the song. And don't think the cinematography isn't appreciated either. Quite the unique idea of circling the room with a seamless juxtapositioning of the band members. Great job!
Hear hear!
It's good. Looked like a sitar session at first but you guys brought it home. Has to be sung with feeling - by which I mean anger - like right before a fight where you're going to rip someone's head off anger. Great job!
Sick arrangement and video, congrats!!!
Yes! This is the perfect tempo for this -- always thought the Planxty version was too slow by half. Ye've done Carlow proud :D
Check out the Fine Crowd version. It's also really fast.
Kevin barry did Carlow proud too.
@@wonjubhoy This comment really made me smile
Are you all on Spotify? If not you fellas definitely need to be.
This is my favourite iteration of this song
best version of that song by far!
The Munster Men, ни хера. Blood Axis it is better. Песня поётся на марше, а не размазывая сопли по ебалу.
This is exellent
Didn't trust this when it said temple bar but I wasn't disappointed
Excellent..
The bridges are fantastic! :)
I absolutely love this :D any chance you guys could upload this to sportify?
Espectacular!!

No one comes near Planxty on this great battle song.
Brilliant check out the navvies version aswel
*very tasty indeed* gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous 🥰
Been looking for a decent version of this - this is the best I've heard after Jim McCann - surely there's better out there, but if there is, it's not online.
Check out the Fine Crowd version. It's also really good.
kilkenny's version is an absolute banger
beautifully done lads
Wow! I play in a Folk band in Belgium and we would love to play this arrangement, is there any chance that I can get this arrangement mailed to me? Ofcourse I will credit you!
I'd imagine this arrangement was worked out by ear. I doubt it's written down anywhere.
It might be available somewherez

The only reason this channel failed was the €10 a pint shafting from the client pub, well not really, but let's highlight the elephant in the room for tourists, TAL.
Coming in here a bit late, have to disagree with lots of comments, this is the worst version of this song I have ever heard, no soul or passion just lets get it finished like formula 1
