No. Comedy is mental. Also, look at Joe.
@@andybaldman The mind is directly connected with your overall health.
@@04dram04 You don't have to be healthy to be funny. Also, Louie has cared about his health at various times of his life and career (google his history with boxing). It didn't make him any funnier.

Didn't know Louie smokes
I absolutely love this mentality! And, at the same time, this is why I don’t go see comedy live. I don’t want to pay money to watch someone I’m excited about … make material for some other crowd 6 months from now.
Hear that but you never know how the unpolished version might hit you - could still have a powerful impact. And I think it’s pretty cool to see a show that won’t ever be totally replicated. Just like seeing a band working out new songs on stage that haven’t been polished in the studio yet.
@@resoundingsource6595 yeah, I’d rather hear it when it’s done.
That’s MY evening. My hard earned money. I’m not putting it up so a comedian can experiment with some material.
I want the stuff they already know is good!
I want to be at the taping of the comedy special being put on dvd. Not at the dozens and dozens and dozens of shows where they’re tightening up the material.
I’m happy to let them do their thing. Eventually they record it and put it online. That’s when I’ll watch it. When it’s done. When it’s “right”.
