Saki and Hazuki are my favorite 7 string guitar duo. For 6 strings probably Midori and Miyako from Lovebites. Personally I really enjoy the added flexibility of the 7 string and they often down tune even that. Mayu (vocalist) is world class in her abilities to switch from screams, to growls, to cleans and demonstrates it the majority of their songs. Additionally, she changes genres from Metal to Rock, Hiphop, and almost Pop with complete ease. Tamu on drums and Haraguchi on bass are one of the best rhythm duos anywhere. This is definitely one of their more aggressive songs with nearly no clean vocals. Perhaps you could try some of their more recent live uploads like, Oiran, Change the World, Seize the Fate. Their music videos are also great such as Raite, Rise, Adabana. Don’t skip their covers, by any of your favorite bands. Enjoy
This is one of their great live songs. They have such a variety of songs. Their latest 80's style ballad Odyssey is complete opposite to this yet they always have one ballad per album. Their early ballad "LIFE" is the song that is the bands theme song so if you review it put subtitles on as the lyrics are fantastic. I saw Mayu sing this song ZEN with Yukina from Hanabie and that is one of my lifes highlights so I hope they do it again someday. The world needs to see that Screamo pair together again. Nemophila's lesser known early trio of Monsters, Soraii and Fighter are also great songs showing more of the bands versatility in the rock/metal genre.
