God I wish Jason was in MK11. One of my favourite grappler/brawler style functions of all time. His animations and the sound effects were on fucking point.
I just prefer fast paced fighting games to both watch and play. MKX really has that mix of fast pace yet footsie moments, while watching MK11, I usually just see a lot of footsies and poking but not a lot of big damaging combos and fast pace

I spent the next few days watching your videos and learning how to play Predator. I'm certainly not the best, but it was fun to play against the guy that started me down the right path.
I have a theory that terminator was inspired by Jason for the most part. A lot of his moves are similar: the anti air grab, the command grabs in general, the grabs in kombos, the teleport, the revive, a lot of his buttons, hell, even just the play style in general.

Down 4 I mean we’re all entitled to are own opinions so I’m a bit byest to mkx cuz it’s got people that I absolutely love like predator and Jason but I agree that they both are good games with both of them having ups and downs
D4 tech grab is great because even if they get hit by the d4, they are plus unlike most strings into tech grab. I often catch people with d4 tech grab, d1 (then whatever string you want you want). I got someone with four repetitions of it yesterday: d4 tech grab, d1, d4 tech grab, d1.... If they start respecting you, instead of a string after the d1, you can do tech grab to keep the mix going, or you can replace the d1 with b1 (4 frames slower tho) tech grab if you are fast enough, which is also plus if they get hit by the first hit. The b1 is a good option sometimes because d1 tech grab is unsafe (If I remember). I noticed you never do f3 which is a good button but very slow (24 frames I think), hits overhead and +7 (Yes +7!) on block. It guarantees a d1 on block (Kind difficult to jail it because you only have a 1 frame gap). If they respect the f3 you can (kinda) mix since f44-bf3 hits low and the bf3 is safe. Hope this helped
Oh man I have so many better memories and had so much more fun on MKX than MK11. I’ve even participated and won in local MkX tournaments that’s how much I was into the game.
Don't know what you've be been smoking but I'd gladly buy you some. Gameplay is a matter of taste, but visually? REALLY? MKX looks so fucking dull and grey. Even MK9 looked prettier. At least the models didn't look as if they were made of wax
