I was woken up by these lights last night.
I came home from work, after sundown and straight away went to sleep. Around Midnight I was woken up by this bright green light, it shine my room green. I went outside and saw the auroras overhead from where I was standing. Its rare because I live on the 47th parallel and seeing them from the horizon is common but overhead is rare.

I live in a city called Luleå in the north of Sweden and I've seen northen lights. It's not so often here but yesterday I saw it for the first time and it was really cool. When you watch videos like these and the movement of the lights it almost feels like in a game or a movie, and like it's photoshoped... But it's not. It's really cool and you feel like you're in a dreamworld.

Would love to see this in real time or slowed down dramatically. Colors are beautiful all the same and it's still a natural phenomenon.
