I live in southern Norway, and we don't see it as often down here.

I was woken up by these lights last night.
I came home from work, after sundown and straight away went to sleep. Around Midnight I was woken up by this bright green light, it shine my room green. I went outside and saw the auroras overhead from where I was standing. Its rare because I live on the 47th parallel and seeing them from the horizon is common but overhead is rare.

I'm in Tromso at the moment. I witnessed the Northern lights 3 days ago!! The magnetic movement was not very strong but wow! It was breathtaking. The stars were also shooting!! I felt the Universe speak!! Its something to see!!
i live like 50 miles away from Toronto in Buffalo and i haven’t seen it once :(
@@nezuki7995 you're way too far south i think
One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen
the thing is, they look beautiful on camera alright. But when you're looking up at them from the ground, it feels like you're literally being dragged towards it. Not even kidding.
Ωmega Games That's.. odd. Never seen grey ones before.
Ωmega Games ah, okay. :P
But when does it appear and what time please respond :)
Huahwi Farts In norway, when it's dark. :P almost around the clock at winter, heh.. no but seriously, I've seen them the most at around midnight.
every night ?! :D
I had been in norway in 2011 for 7 days n got to see aurora 5 times
Than in 2015 i was in Sweden n estonia i again see aurora 4 times n i got mad after seeing tham with my eyes live. I get best highof my life
I live in a city called Luleå in the north of Sweden and I've seen northen lights. It's not so often here but yesterday I saw it for the first time and it was really cool. When you watch videos like these and the movement of the lights it almost feels like in a game or a movie, and like it's photoshoped... But it's not. It's really cool and you feel like you're in a dreamworld.
No No can u please tell me what time of the year coz i realy want visit sweden or norway just beacause of tht ??
You have to go in the winter, because it is bright outside all day in the summer. And dark all day in the winter.
I live in Hungary, Europe. I saw the aurora borealis from my country when I was a child. There was a strong solar flare back then its caused troubles all over the world. I was just a kid, around 30 years ago but I still remember it. It was mesmerizing seeing this with my own eyes.
You gotta love nature.. This is truly the best video on RUclips.. I wish one day I'll get the chance to see this in person , before I die..
Count me in! xP
There are many fantastic videos, however, I would agree that this ranks high among the collection.
it has been my ultimate dream to see this gorgeous phenomenon and I will finally be seeing them next month
This has been one of my favorite things since I discovered that it existed over a decade ago. I've never lived anywhere I could see the Northern Lights but it honestly looks amazing.
I live in norway, i saw the northern lights once. It was amazing :D
Kristian Berget Wow you're so lucky, I wish I'd see that at least once during my life time

Anna Possberg did a great job!
Right 😍😍😍
Ashland WI, December 1976, three friends and I saw the aurora over Lake Superior. It was unbelievable! It looked like multicolored curtains blowing in wind, filling half the sky. It lasted until dawn, and we stayed up all night watching. I'll never forget that night.
Wow. This sounds lovely
How often does this happen? I dont want to die before experiencing this
john hamlet come to the northen part of Norway in december go to kirkenes an you will se it almost every night
teheim Gaming Wow ! Every night ? That's surely heaven , lucky those who live in those areas .
john hamlet In the winter is very common.

The more Northen you go in Norway the more of these you’re going to see
I think Tromsø has better auroras than Kirkenes
Im serving in the military in Sør - Varanger Garnison in northern noreay, and we see this everyday... never gets old
Some day I'm seeing this in person. How lucky to live in one of those houses and have the opportunity to look at this extraordinary display of lights when you feel like it. Forget the campfire.
I am so proud to be able to see this a few times a year
I’m from Nepal and before i die i want to see northern light , want to witness this incredible happening of nature..🤞🤞
Absolutely magnificent... Better than any man-made fireworks!!
In October 2012 my wife & I on a trip around the world were flying between New York to Iceland. Absolutely amazing looking out the window at 3AM somewhere in the far Northern Atlantic, The Northern Lights put on an amazing display - I was supposed to be catching up on sleep. SLEEP how could I when this was going on just out of my window..
this is hauntingly beautiful
It’s my dream to see the Northen lights
its my childhood dream to see this once in my life.. hope we all make it my aurora friends
I'm so grateful for things like youtube, my mom has always wanted to see the Northern Lights and now she has, not as amazing as it could be in person but still stunning .
So breathtaking. Me and my hubby are going to Norway for a month this February and we can't wait to see this beautiful country. Seeing the Northern Lights will be a dream come true :)

People living in Norway would be lucky. They can see a mind-blowing beautiful view
When i was a kid my mom told these stories that if you waved at the northern lights with a white cloth, it would get you. It's not true of course but i cool story. We experience quite a lot of northern lights in Norway in the winter :D …But i don't go out to see it often hah
