FIRST LOOK at new trailer for HELLBOY: The Crooked Man - Mike Mignola's comic hero gets a new look!

In this video I take a look at the brand new trailer for Hellboy: The Crooked Man, the third iteration of Mike Mignola's monster punching hero! this time round Jack Kesy steps into the hooves of the titular hero and has to deal with witches in a rural '50's setting.

I think Kesy looks perfect. He's got the slouch and everything. Granted you can see a lack of budget but I think that's only making me more excited for a movie that focuses on atmosphere and tone in place of superhero themes and pacing. I'm so excited for what looks like an actual Hellboy movie for once.

I absolutely agree. I think he looks great and I hope it leads to more movies or a TV show.

There are alot of people already hating on the movie and saying it looks fan made but I think the movie looks awesome it looks alot better then 2019 reboot this is how i wanted the 2019 reboot to be but it ended not so good but this is the version i wanted of hellboy I can’t wait to watch it and also to hear that the man who did comics and the Director to happy makes me more excited good video by the way keep up the good work👍

Well I love hellboy( Ron’s )…. Now that I know the Director is the same guy that did Happy I’m really excited! I watch the first season around Christmas and the second around easter.🤣🤣🤣

I am very excited for this one. The make up on Hellboy may not be perfect but man I am still going to see this opening day. Hope they don't take it to streaming. This looks dark and disturbing, which is something I always wanted out of Hellboy

I think if they'd squared Kesy's jaw a bit and given him the yellow eyes he'd be perfect, the yellow eyes specifically would go a long way to making it look less like a guy in makeup.

Yeah I had a discussion with a friend about whether or not the yellow eyes would work in live action. It's a bit like Batman's white eyes. I'm still undecided 😆
