The one at 3:47 about the "empty" food bowl is due to whisker fatigue/stress. Feeling their whiskers repeatedly touch the sides of the bowl is uncomfortable for cats so they'll eat what they can and ask for more. Low profile plates and bowls with wide sides give more room for the whiskers. Plates and bowls that are raised off the floor and tilted a little are even easier to eat from.
I have adopted two cats who became pregnant - a LOT of female cats get dumped when this happens. One of them was put in a cardboard box, taped shut and was put outside a veterinarians surgery. She has a fear of boxes now, but what the heck, "its just for laughs".
The “unexpectedly” pregnant cats are NOT unexpected because their owners A. Let them out and B. Didn’t have them fixed! This is hardly the cat’s fault and should be on a Pet Owners Shaming site!
Guess some of these kitties who are eating papers and a lot of inedible items may have that issue called "pica" as my kitty has it too..can't do anything about it usually, but I use posterboard for my girl to use and she will chew the heck out of it for 10 minutes and leave all these teeth marks in it and seems to really enjoy doing it..I change it when she's finished and put up a new one..😊😊
We have 8 farm cats that have a doggie door to come thru. Yes, they bring in their kills and some are alive that they release to recatch for indoor entertainment. But all the other stuff they don’t do. I think these cats on here are not getting required attention or have toys, cat trees, or clean litter boxes. Two of my cats got into my house plants so I started using a water bottle, would squirt them right in the face, the other cats saw this. When they went near a plant I would pick up the bottle and they stopped. They feared that bottle! In my biggest plant, I put BBQ kabobs pointy side out in the pot. They don’t touch my plants anymore. They get fed before we eat so they don’t steal food, and come up to us asking to play or wanting catnip. Bad cats get put outside for time out. They don’t like that, it’s humiliating to them cause we do it infront of the other cats, call them ‘bad’. Our cats are surprisingly the best behaved cats, none spray or does bad things! One thing people must realize, cats need attention, like to be hugged or held, and ignoring them they get mischievous.

Maybe...I am sick and home all the time. I had three cats - I cleaned the litter pans at least once a day, make sure they had clean water and fed them on time. They had toys - some I could play with them. My little Siamese was into everything! She figured out how to the TV off and on. She ran away with my momma's keys - $75.00! My momma was cleaning a lamp Lady ran away with the finial. She was my baby for 16 years. And I have more stories!!!
Makes me wonder more about the owners than the cats. Blame the cat for getting pregnant? You kidding? Throwing your dirty condoms on the floor is the cat's fault. That's as much stupidity I could take before thumbs down and leaving.
@@connieh9581 I was thinking the same thing. I have a med that comes in a foil packet I take every day. My cats used knock over my trash can to get to the foil. I used the kitchen trash can - metal and has a lid.
@@amypagekaviani5661 With mine its crinkly plastic that is similar to their crinkle toys. I have to be very careful of wrappers for hard candy and cough drops. Cats are particular about texture and sounds that they like. One of mine loves the kind of bags that hold grapes. It has to go into the trash can with a lid.
