    Ah, life saving tips. Having a bigger bust with smaller waist, I need to pay attention not to look too heavy. I like to showcase my twins ;) but want to avoid being vulgar. Always on the look for tips like these, thank you.

      It's not you - it's mainstream brands who STILL haven't caught on that only a very very small segment of women are tall. Once you know the silhouettes that work best on your body-type, finding them in a petite version is the next step.
      Brands like Anthropologie, Banana, J Crew - are EXCELLENT for petites, offering most all (80%?) items in a petite version. I think long and hard before buying a non-petite item because I'm seriously OVER the time & hassle of alterations. ;-)

      @@AnnieParkerConfidential I do go to petites sections but in our big city, we are still tailor to taller people. Therefore not a lot to choose from or the clothes are not that nice. 😉 I don’t get alterations, I just look forever until I find something or give up and buy shoes!😂

    I appreciate you posting this.
    There’s not a lot of videos with this topic.
    I know how to dress my top part!
    I dislike how many stores don’t have t-shirts that have low cut neckline (not too low of course) but most t shirts are for small chested girls. And there’s not enough nice colors either. Or v necks!!🙄
    Lately I’m into western wear and I would like to wear a skirt but this isn’t easy when you have a big chest.
    Please can you help with a video?
    Thanks so much.

    I’m a 36 G cup (uk size) just had a bra fitting as I was wearing a 34DD/36DD. I’ve always worn V neck type tops as they are normally a stretchy fabric and my boobs fit plus they are flattering. After this bra fitting I’ve recently bought some new clothes as I don’t know how I fit in others when I was wearing my 34DD all long sleeve ribbed square neck and v neck jumpers in cream and beige and a v neck rugby jumper. As a uni student I’ve been culling clothes that don’t fit or I don’t quite like they way they fit my boobs so have donated them. Your video is so informative and helpful ❤❤❤

    I have found that a lot of the fashions today, especially the tiered dresses, are terrible for women with a larger bust. I have discovered a whole new wardrobe in retro 1950’s style dresses. Hi Darla! Great question - I live in San Diego, so I'm also super careful with the sun. I wear 40+ spf, face, neck, chest everyday and that's worked well when wearing lower necklines during the day.
      Also remember that most clothing, unless it's specifically UPF 50 - doesn't offer sun protection. So even if you're wearing a higher neck top, the skin underneath is still getting sun rays.
      The OTHER option is a lightweight scarf OR lightweight sweater over the shoulders if you're running around outside - remove when indoors. And of course those styles are gorgeous for nighttime as well, with no risk of sun exposure ;-) xoxo -Shelli

    • @AnnieParkerConfidential
      @AnnieParkerConfidential  Месяц назад +4

      Ohhh I'm so sorry to hear this ;-(. So, a couple of options come to mind, for your consideration:
      1. First, I know some health insurance carriers will sometimes cover a breast reduction if deemed medically necessary (like bad back problems, impeding quality of life). Perhaps check into it with your health insurance carrier.
      2. Financing. I (normally) wouldn't ever advise someone to finance plastic surgery...HOWEVER, it sounds like your bust size is weighing heavy on your mind - and I get it. If something really bugs - it's hard to put it out of mind, and it affects your life, and well-being on a daily basis. Not fun.
      MOST all Plastic Surgeons offer financing options, either through a 3rd party OR in-house (through the plastic surgeon - like payment plans).
      I'd first ask the Dr for IN-HOUSE OPTIONS (it'll be his/her office manager - usually the person who gives you the quote, and does scheduling).
      What I DON'T recommend, is using CareCredit, which is a 3rd party financing company that many many Cosmetic surgery offices offer, as a convenience. They have a HORRIBLE reputation for (essentially) charging 19%+ interest rates, with questionable business practices that make it difficult for users to extinguish the debt.
      If you do choose the financing route, set aside time to really read through the T&C's (terms and conditions) to understand exactly what you're getting into. Either way - I hope this was helpful ;-) - Shelli

    • @AnnieParkerConfidential
      @AnnieParkerConfidential  Месяц назад +5

      Ugh - I'm guessing a guy came up with the T-shirt for work thing, and they're undoubtedly a crew neck. To elongate the look, I'd wear a pendant necklace on the outside of the T. One that comes down maybe 5" below the collarbone.
      That's going to provide SOME elongation. Depending on your particular company - you COULD always suggest more feminine T-shirts in the way of a 'gentle' v-neck. When I ran sales divisions, we had T-shirts made for team building events and I DEFINITELY made sure we had male AND female versions.
      It's only fair ;-)

    Am I the only one who always believed that the smallest part of a woman's torso was her waist? At least that's the case with me!

      My sister just had one done last year 🥰 Personally, I wanted “smaller” - but the Dr. Actually installed larger than what I wanted….that’s a whole different story. 🫠

      The foundation of selecting a good bra, is knowing your true bra size. To do that, you'll want to be properly measured. I recommend going to Nordstrom lingerie dept, and ask for a proper bra fitting.
      That is part of what they do and most women find that they're wearing the wrong size (myself included.).
      From there, you can choose a few bras while at the store - but most importantly, you'll have your true size, allowing you to shop online with much greater success.

      @@AnnieParkerConfidential Just an FYI. I have gone to Nordstroms for years because yes, they are great fitters, but I would say for those women who are truly large breasted and small waisted they do not have the selection for those who are beyond the range of most large breasted large waisted women. I have had to purchase what was available even though none of the styles truly fit me. My last fitting was last summer and I was there for over an hour and a half as the associate found my true size, but struggled to find me something that would fit. I came out with one sports bra that was close enough. That is what I have worn for a year. The associate also gave me a card with my measurements and recommended that I find a European bra company. She said that England and many eastern block countries have more women in this range and have bras that fit. She could not do more for me. I have since searched and found a few companies that provide my size. For the last year I have been in a cycle of order , try on, and then return to find something that would fit. I am still looking, 30-32K, but have lost weight, so bra size has changed a little too.

    yes, nice, but you are slim and toned and have manufactured perfect-in-place boobs, PLUS, a waist line. So easy, then. MOST naturally bigbreasted ladies have also a bit extra fat everywhere, and certainly on the mid section.

      @@MeryOnTheRun yes, I do my best to include all body shapes, but sometimes miss the mark. I do have several videos on best dresses for different body shapes, how to camouflage a tummy / slim a waist, and many of those suggested styles work exceptionally well on most all body types. 💕

    Omg amazing! I got so desperate, do you recommend a bra minimiser? I’m quite petite and a 32E size, I’ve worn minimisers for the last few years out of self consciousness and to try and fit the minimal aesthetic. Watching this video shows me you can still be minimal and chic in styling and look great. Thank you from a struggling mama trying to regain her style.
