Hey all, thank you for all the great comments on the video and constructive criticism and ideas. I will read all the comments but I won’t be able to give meaningful comments back. Please know I will read all the ones I can. Also, I think a few of you misunderstood what I was saying about Mercs. I do not believe they are a good part of the game, but I’m also not going to dehumanize them. I believe the problem starts at a lack of player education from Kabam and also that mercs are often positively highlighted by others in the community. I believe Kabam should get ahead of this problem if they want to enforce the TOS of MCoC
I gotta say that I agree with everything you said in this video. If there's one thing that I can add, something that has been in my mind for a few days now. That is how 7* is so ahead of everything in the game. I truly believe that Kabam overtuned 7*, I don't think they should be as powerful as they are (base stats wise). With how ludicrous the 7* launch event is, just completely eclipsed every rewards that is offered in the game. I am concerned with how behind Kabam is on story content and progression title. We are now in a weird state in the game where people are wondering if it even still worth it to r5 a 6* champ, or just save up some more catalyst to r2 a 7* and future-proof their roster. We don't know whether the next progression title would want us to have how many r5 6* or r2 even r3 7*. It feels like Kabam is accelerating the game economy beyond everything else purely through monetized events and not actual rewards from actual game content, and it concerns me.
This. I was so salty when kabam just happened to give the right amount of t6cc in the event to r2 a 7 star. Like, I tried my god damn hardest, explored 8.2 within days, even bought the 7.5k unit bundle despite everyone saying it was a dumb choice, just to get my favourite champ scorpion as my 1st r5 6 star. Of course, that got me very hyped and I couldn't wait to quickly get zemo and get him to r5 too. Now, thx to the event, I'm just half a t6cc away frm r5 zemo, but I'm put in a dilemma, as in whether or not I should be focusing on 6 stars or 7 stars. I rmb it was just months ago when the first 4-5 gem came out and ppl are busting their asses to get the gem. Fast forward a few months and u can get a generic 4-5 gem frm spring cleaning, and if u want to, another 6 star r5 frm this event's rewards, both of them by spending shit tons of money in the game. It's like all the efforts to grind out EOP just thrown down the drain. It's such a big insult to everyone who has cleared EOP as soon as it came out, and with the 7 stars coming with such a bang, the 6 stars I feel are just going to be left behind. Honestly its a very weird and new feeling since I got back into the game being uncollected when 6 star r3s were already old news, so I have never got to experience something like this before. But never the less, free to play rewards are lacking so behind compared to the stuff u can get just by paying in a single event, its just hilarious. We want to spend because we enjoy the game, not spend because we will feel left behind if we don't.
@@JosephHaubert they are both 10% better comparing to similar power rating 6*. For example 6* r4 gorr has 44k health and 3.6k attack. 7* r1 has 49.3k and 4k. Both are 10% more.
Your timing is so perfect. I won’t make this personal since you know what I’m dealing with with Kabam. A huge issue is the incompetence of Kabam’s customer service department. Most don’t have the connections I do and they’d be completely screwed.
So agree, I don't put tickets in anymore, cause they don't help, they just want us to prove it rather than trust us... they should study Nordstrom, treat your customers with trust, take care of them, it will return 10 fold to you
Glad you made this, brother. I've also been incredibly disenchanted with how the game has been handled lately, specifically with how Kabam responds to anything remotely critical even in private channels like the ccp. I won't bog down this comment with more gripes, just happy you made the vid and hope things change within the game and ccp that make it more enjoyable to play.
We need version 2 of MCOC and it should have started with 7 stars. It feels like the power level, economy, reward structure...basically everything has been turned upside down. A new game, built on a more stable platform, starting with 7 stars and allowing account resource transfers would have been a shock to the system but better long term. 90% of the content is outdated with rewards that make it pointless to even run. Abyss run in 2023...why? EOP run now that 7 stars are out...why would a middling player put themselves through that? BG's alone could be the base of a great mobile game. My issue is that after almost 9 years KABAM has nearly NEVER shown an ability to have their finger on the pulse of the community. Their inability to fix inputs and bugs has lead to a rapidly declining user experience. I am still playing, and the 7 star hype did have me excited, but less than a week later and I am already not feeling that urge to log in and play. It has potential but I just don't believe Kabam has shown the ability to make this game what it TRULY shine and reach the highest it could.
@@Insidious_Rage I specifically said account source transfer, which would mean gold, units, cats etc. Gaming has made a living off of sequels, how many Mario's are there. How many Mortal Kombats, street fighters, etc etc etc. there are hundreds of franchises that have made it MORE that successful, just because you lack the knowledge and vision to make an MCOC2 doesn't mean its impossible.
@@nestord8912 For many the current landscape of the game and the introduction of 7 stars was their ticket out of the game already... you would be just another 1 added to the pile, and I doubt anyone would miss you.
Thanks for making this video! My favorite part of this game is testing out how a champion interacts with different nodes and defenders. For this reason, my favorite part of each update was getting buffs to older champs. With the new rebalance system, it seems that buffs have become less of a priority. The champion rebalance system is important, and it is good for new champions to feel powerful (but not overpowered), but now we will have three months in a row with no buffs to older champs. As a player who does not have the luxury to spend, I don't always get newer champs right away. I would much rather have an older, easier to access, champ receive a buff and have the tune-up for new champs take a bit longer. Perhaps Kabam could let the CCP be part of testing new champs before release to try and reduce the number of rebalanced champs. Maybe they could hire one or two more people to work solely on buffs to older champs. It also seems that lately, players who haven't made it as far in the game or don't spend have been left out. Express arena would be a huge time saver, but you can only use it if you spend. The 7-star launch event was pretty much exclusive to Paragon players. Battlegrounds is a very fun game mode. It forces players to build a deck with counters to a wide variety of problems, and you may have to try alternate options when the draft doesn't go your way. However, I have pretty much stopped playing it entirely, because it is extremely difficult to move up. It seems that every time I need one more medal to reach the next rank, I match with an opponent with a massive roster and lose the next match and a medal. Sometimes I lose because I play poorly, but other times it is because of bugs, poor matchmaking, uncooperative defenders, etc. I don't think players should be penalized for losing a match. It would make the mode a lot less stressful.
I agree pretty much 100% with your main points. We know testing happens but we know that things slip through. The issues that have slipped through lately have been awful between BGs, the War Tactic, and now two months where the new champions have asterisks attached to the gameplay. I think the color coding for clarity is GENIUS and i absolutely agree that we need more "extra information" thst can be accessed by reading champion abilities. I don't think express arena is the hill to fight on for Quality of Life but i do dislike it was paywalled; arena isn't fun so just let us all go through it quicker. I am absolutely guilty of asking questions about stuff that the CCP may or may not have information about. I really appreciate you tearing that wall down and talking about this, because you're all way more out of the loop than I thought. If your feedback isn't being heard and you don't get early info, then what the heck is the point? Honestly such a deterrent for anyone trying to get in. I'll finish by saying even the occassional feedback surveys have just stopped and that's just as disappointing. As a non-CCP member that felt like the only way to give my feedback and with them being gone it honestly really sucks with all the radio silence alongside it. Great video Vega. I hope changes come.
Fully agree with everything you've said. The bugs in battlegrounds hit me the most. I haven't played any in the last 10 days and I don't have any interest to even push to GC last minute (in diamond 3 atm). Doing a fight perfectly and then for some reason the game kicks you out and loads you back into the same fight with 20 seconds remaining. I even had a situation where I got the promotion to the next rank in the victory track and got the rewards but didn't get the promotion to the next rank. Had to get 6 wins just to get out of silver 1. Which sucks because BGs literally got me back into the game. I started with 5* in my deck so i grinded hard and now its just rank 4 and 3 6* (which may not sound like a big achievement but I was finally happy with my deck) but i can't even have fun with the mode now.
Great video as always. I'm actually a software tester myself, and the discussion on testing is spot on because it's, well, bugging. For a company that works to its own internal deadlines, you would think they would be able to coordinate these things more easily. These things just need better communication and its weird how each release poses new bugs each month; I personally think more regression testing is needed and perhaps some months they would benefit from scaling back and focus more dev effort on resolving bugs (like in Dec when its one champ month). A peek behind the curtain into how they create champs or content is always super interesting and would be nice if they shared more on that, so at least we could understand their perspective. The help player out section is such an obvious win - UI/UX changes would be relatively easier to do. A personal bugbear is how we don't have quick filters on Champion, Relic and Crystal pages - give me Star level quick filters already goddammit. A wider point on this section; it is far more easier to search on youtube 'how to fight Bahamet' than it is to make sense of the champion abilities and the actual challenge - which ironically just makes it less engaging (still thought that was a fun fight though). Ultimately i feel this is bad for the game overall though. On monetisation, they have to realise that there are diminishing returns on making players feel like they either have to spend all their time or all their money to 'keep up'. Having to commit to AQ, AW, Arena, Battlegrounds, Monthly Quest in any given month whilst juggling Everest, Act, Incursions etc is just overwhelming - the best part of the game is not these game modes per se, but assembling your favourite champs or characters and using them! At least for me, anyways. (Insert rant on champion acquisition here lol) I think you covered most points that are shared by many, and whilst i personally have a list of improvements i would personally like to see, these grander issues deffo need addressing first. Cheers for raising them
Thank you so much for making this video, a lot of your points are big problems that not everyone even thinks about. I’m glad and I hope this does impact Kabams decisions moving forward
I agree with a lot of your points. Me personally, I was starting to feel burnout around the end of the year, so I am just doing Side Quest events, maybe 1 run thru all difficulties of the event quest and calling it a day. But with everything going on I've definitely taken a major step back in playtime
Great video Vega! Love your honesty and candidness here. The express arena change really is ridiculous. Such a significant QOL change should be available to ALL players
Much appreciated for this video. I’m a year and a half into into MCOC, I made to paragon a couple of weeks ago, and I get confused on things like: Crit damage Light vs medium attack Buff De-buff Etc Etc The point being, we need some sort of index/crib-sheet or a simple dictionary in a “help” section within the game to look these up instead of searching around RUclips to try to learn the game. There is too much focus on new champs, let’s go back to basics Kabam. You have a fantastic product and please keep it simple for newbies to on-board and understand your game.
Love this video and seeing the RUclipsrs being the voice for the player base. My job conducts Kaizen meetings where everyone in the company get together to discuss a topic to improve a process. I think the game would benefit tremendously to have something like this.
I hate that Vega delivered such an insightful video and it’s going to fall on the deaf ears of Kabam once again. Some of these points have been talked about at a nauseating level so many times before. Kabam refuses to do better because the player base refuses to use its most powerful tool, their wallets. A 3-6 month spending freeze from the entire community would absolutely make Kabam have to improve their “customer service” as well as their “product”.
I missed this when it dropped and I’m so glad you linked it on Twitter. This is an excellent video, Vega. Thank you! Spot on with so much of this. I think Kabam has neglected the community and the CCP. The errors and bugs are trashing the game and it’s sad
Wish you had mentioned that there has in the last week or two been a massive spike in the cost of units for some people. The price of an Odin has gone up by 70% for me here in Norway. Talked to someone from Australia last night, and the price there has gone down a bit, and for them it now cost (in USD) the same price I used to pay in the past. For me however the price has gone up to about 170 USD, from about 110 a week or two ago. The price of the sigil has also gone up by about 70%, and I can say right now that if these prices stay, then it will litterally be the end of spending from me. I get more for my money just buying a new XBox game or something every month.
100% agree with you there. I’m English and all our unit bundles went up in price so the pound is the same as the dollar! That’s so wrong we have exchange rates of currency for a reason 😤😤😤😤😤
@@Vega583 I’m sure this has to be illegal. Cos £50 for example is $62.50 converted so that equates to us paying $12.50 more for a panthers treasure chest than our American counter parts. 🙄😤😵
You are so right on all your point. To add up to the Battlgrounds, not only it is bugged, but since it gives alliance rewards, it is now part of a minimum investement for alliances to participates in the mode. I have a good friend of mine that will quit the game after the upcoming season, because he wants to play with friends in a competitive AW alliance, but all the AW, AQ, BG, prestige is to much all together for him, and I am sure, for many players out there.
Vega I'm only as far as the battlegrounds issue.. I would like to make my first comment thank you for making the video and being an impassioned representative of the player base. I would furthermore as a long time player in the mid levels like to state how frustrating when there are issues having to hunt RUclips and the forums to find out if what I am experiencing is real. Especially the forums a quick mail to our inboxes would go so far
I quit after 8 years of playing the game. Don’t miss it one bit. Freedom finally is mine. I tried quitting a couple of times over the years, only to get sucked back in by an addiction. Game used to feel like a second job that milked you just to keep up in the top alliances. Im not a whale, but I did drop well over $10K over 8 years and for what? To each his own, but I like where I am now, unchained.
The nerf to revive farming has also killed a lot of game play for me. I spend some, but on champs and rankup, because i can put a value to that, i will never buy potions, so Kabam killed my progress and play time, and in turn my spending, because i don't need rank ups because im not playing as much...
Graat video vega really like yoir ideas abd thoughts hopefully someone at kabam will be listening! Though i dont agree with the merc comments, yes they are just good players looking for a buck because there's a market, but same could be said for a drug dealer what they do is bad and they know it but just bcz there's a market doesnt mske it right in my humble opinion, but i totallt agree that kabam needs to educate players more and put things in place preventing it as a whole. Over all great video thanks foe sharing!
Thanks for the video Vega. Some comments: 1) would love to have keyword gameplay mechanics explained. Make it an actual playable tactical game, rather than just an ambiguous guessing game or large % of players totally confused game. 2) would love to see node descriptions that clearly identified attack, defender, and other key elements. Again, rather than just an ambiguous guessing game or large % of players totally confused game. 3) express pass as a pay perk is a bad precendent, because (1) it creates a baseline budget player punishment in Arena, and (2) it's literally just keeping in bad content just so players can be charged to skip it. You might as well just do things like increase loading times, just so you can charge players to remove the added loading time.
Well done Vega. I appreciate you taking the time to address the concerns that are shared by many in the community. On monetization, I would love to see Kabam add the ability for players to set spending limitations or disable certain options temporarily (buying cavs, etc). The way that they linked the 7 star celebration offer to buying paragon crystals is sickening. I think it’s a shift back to the old formula of preying on the addicted.
@@Vega583 It seems counterintuitive on the surface, but I know of a few people who have left MCOC altogether because they couldn't control their spending. Giving players an option to budget within game will not only keep them around, but will allow them to feel better about the money they are spending.
Can’t argue with anything you said mate. My thought is about buffs, we need a tag for buffs. So when we jump into a quest where you need a poison, bleed, armour, armour break etc you can jump into tags hit the desired buff, pick your champs and away you go. Atm you rely on screenshots of the infograph that is usually not up to date. For me this is what would make the game feel a lot more fun.
I've been playing around a year now and much like you I freaking love this game and wanna see it thrive. I have however been uninterested in playing cause I feel exactly as you do on almost every subject you touched on. I would be a tester 100% free if it would help the state of the game, that's how much I dig it. Thanks for the video Vega. Edit: the main thing that gets me is the missed inputs. I work to time the match perfect and everything going great then all of a sudden boom, missed parry and I'm dead by a single combo to the face. I feel like they don't care about that as it cause people to spend units (I was but don't no more now I just quit and don't play for a while) on revives and that's the whole reason for them getting rid of revive farming and giving us trash in it's place. Just my opinion but anyway lol
Crits are critical hits that have a specific chance of happening. Crit resistance lowers the chance to crit. Armor lowers the damage of non crits. Guaranteed crits is self explanatory. I think? 🤷🏼♂️ well said though. I agree with everything you said
Well thought video, good information. I am a very below average player, playing Mcoc since 2016. I am not even a throne breaker yet. It would be unfair to me and players like me who did not chose to give our accounts to mercs
Thank you for bringing attention to these issues, Vega. I think Kabam have been lying about and ignoring a number things in the game, and Rich The Man did a vid the other day about certain codes being programmed into the game that give the AI an unfair advantage against players. I've never advocated for an easy game. I just want the game to be fair. And unfortunately the game just isn't.
I hear you Vega.. Sad that you are feeling this way. Totally agree on the way express arena is segregating user base.. But disagree on mercs being part of the game. Also perspective is important.. As other game devs have done much worse in the quest to increase profits turning off much of the player base. Kabam just need to make some fixes and adjust some decisions and things can turn around quickly... Nothing has been done that can't be fixed.
Agree with all your points. It should not be that difficult to add a definition page to the game that explain 'crit damage, crit rate, armor, etc.' The game already has a tab for it 'Training Grounds'. I would like to see it expands to buffs and debuffs. Kabam continues to introduce new buffs and debuffs (e.g tranquilize, intimidate, infuriate, fatigue, cowardice, decelerate, slow, weakness, exhaustion, stifle, wither, spectre, fragility, pierce, aptitude, bulwark, intensify, energize, crush, suppression, precision, cruelty, true sense, true accuracy, true strike, disorient, concussion, .....). While I am not in the master tier, I am a fairly experienced player. If I am having trouble of keeping track and understanding them all, I cannot imagine what it is like to be a new player. It is overwhelming. As for monetization, in most cases, I do not have a problem with it. Kabam employees has to be paid. They have mortgage just like everyone. I agree with you 100%. Giving value to the sigil should not be disadvantaging FTP. There are plenty of ways to give sigil additional value. I always tell people, MCOC is a pay-to-win game with an option of free-to-play. That is OK. That is literally how the real world works. If you spend resources, you should get an advantage. However, that does not mean FTP cannot enjoy the game. FTP players can have a load of fun but do not expect to win. Similar as getting from point A to point B - pay and get a taxi. You can get there fast and without huge effort - take a bus and you can get there a bit slower and cheaper - if you do not want to spend any money, there is the option to walk there. You will get there eventually. (But do not complain it is unfair just because people get there faster by taxi).
Vega, I appreciate your take on this. HOWEVER this game has not been fun for a long while and they know it. They don't listen to constructive criticism speciality us the customers. We provide several good ideas every day so why we should keep with this insanity. Eg battlegrounds bugs, modders and now constant connection issues and our time won't be obviously refunded. So no is not fun.
Things that bother me, and I have been playing for over 4 yrs, is finally getting the good champs only to have the gameplay nerf their power. The nodes in monthly gameplay really nerf the champs I worked so hard to get. I end up using some odd-ball champ to complete the quests. Another issue is rank-up materials. Vast majority of these materials is behind an expensive paywall. You can spend hundreds of dollars to rank up a champ fully. That's insane! I have x4 7-STAR champs and prolly will never be able to take them to R2. The resources needed is crazy. I feel Kabam needs to talk to players and fix these issues and so much more.
I think the exact moment this game and how I feel about it changed was when they threw +300% attack and +400% health on the lower level tiers of the monthly event quests. I’m losing like half my health against 3* champs who have no business being alive against 6* r3 champs, and it seemed like such a poor decision to make when the state of the game has so many problems. I don’t even bother doing Uncollected event quests now (I’m Thronebreaker), and I have even less interest in any difficulties higher than that. It shouldn’t take me nearly as long as it does to do the Contender difficulties, I won’t even waste my time on UC events anymore.
This was well said. I agree with you on all of this. Input issues are a mix of player mistakes but the AI has changed and it does affect how our reactions are handled. I also agree the monetization of express arena is horrible for the community and makes the ftp feel unwanted. I commented on Twitter and recommended Kabam make it available for everyone and add a boost in battle chips for Sigil owners, that would give Sigil owners a benefit and still not neglect ftp. Lastly, a lot of the frustration could be reduced simply by kabam's response to issues. Like you pointed out the response to battlegrounds issues was unclear and did not respect the time and effort players put into the game. As an IT professional I know things happen and bugs can get missed, kost of the time it's because things are rushed or testers are new, sometimes it's because they are silenced when they do say something. I don't know which it is for kabam but to the customer it doesn't matter the effect is the same. Personally I think it's because they are trying to make it too complicated with multiple complex buffs on nodes and defender/attacker interactions and think they should slow down and focus on quality over complexity but I could be wrong.
You touch on several important ideas the most one which resonates with me is the “Fun” concept. This is a game its supposed to be fun and i actually enjoy your streams bec you approach it very realistically. The ccp point honestly i dont really take too much importance to it bec eventually when kabam wants to announce something they will do it in their way, via ccp or not. So i think ccp members should be just the inside men of the community and try to pass as much information as possible via disclamer i.e take it with a grain of salt. All in all vega love the video love your ideas and big fan of your channel. Keep the fun going 🎉
I remember dorky Dave used to go to kabam headquarters before he was a employee and have a Q&A with them with our questions . Kabam has a live stream on twitch here and there why don’t they add a segment with let’s say a member of the community that is neutral and not afraid to ask questions (I vote for Vega). Of course questions from the community that are valid concerns and we can get direct answers from kabam . It’s a great way to open up a better communication with the community.
100% agree about AQ. I wish the glory store didn’t have a graduated cost structure and instead charged a flat rate like the BG store. They should also increase the amount of AQ health potions you can buy. Also, bring the 40% revive to AQ like AW. Actually, why have separate health pots for alliance events. Just have alliance health pots you can use in either mode. Agree about BGs. The server issues were awful and the amount of time it took Kabam to respond was really unacceptable. You nailed it on the head - by not acknowledging the issues made it so much worse. I also agree about vague terms/vocabulary. For 7stars, block penetration vs armor penetration - I understand that they’re different, but in practical use how are they different? It seems very very nuanced. Another vocab thing: I understand the difference between physical and energy damage, but what exactly is direct damage? I think their are older champs where this terminology is in their abilities but doesn’t mean what it means today. There are so many different abilities and nodes and damage sources - I would like to see more tutorials. I’ve been playing Zelda this weekend and that game does a phenomenal job of explaining how abilities work. For a game of MCOC’s size, there should be more tutorial opportunities. Lastly, I wish the release of 7stars didn’t come so close on the heels of when people are getting their first R5 6stars. I was so excited about getting champs to R5, but that excitement is diminished now. I know there are 6star champs that we should still take to R5 because they will never be 7stars or they won’t be for a really long time. But that excitement is gone because taking a 6star to R5 means I’m spending so many resources that I could use to get a 7star to R2. I still have R3s I want to take to R4 but I’m wondering if I should just wait to R2 a 7star. I’ll go back to Zelda. There is SO MUCH game for $70 without having to spend more. Granted it’s not interactive like MCOC but it’s a great product that is ready to go on day 1. So to recap: 1) eliminate scaling costs in glory store, remove or expand purchase cap, 2) buff AQ revives and health pots or just have a singular alliance revive/health pot for AQ and AW, 3) expand the tutorial area of the game to practice nodes, champion abilities, and fight tactics (intercept, re-parry, etc), 4) update older champion pages and provide an easily accessible glossary for what different terms mean - similar to aunt mai, 5) slow roll the release of future 7stars or differentiate the rank up materials needed for 6star R5 and 7star R2.
Hey there! I really like this video and actually completely understand how you feel and why you feel that way. There a lot of areas in the game and around certain reaction from Kabam that is def off at the moment. In general it's pretty much visible that they turned the monetization up to eleven and they are not even trying to hide it. I understand that it's a profit oriented company and they have to make up for the money but they are more than doing just fine on that front. Seems like to main goal what you are saying and what I really like about your approach that is not for the game being fun but the game to make money. So basically the 2 parties have opposing interests. The community would like to enjoy the game and have fun - be it as whatever this means to a given person - and Kabam would like to make so so much money. And seems they see those as exclusive to one another. In the recent months they speed up the availability of the high-end ranking materials that it almost frightening. Frightening, because basically if you are not a spender, not in an alliance doing those type activities, basically you are not even exists to them. The event that are behind the paywall are so significantly further from the average joe experience that it's basically not even FTP anymore... They are pushing the monetization soo much on these new events but completely leaving the other areas about the game in the dark. The side quests rewards are so OP now that I almost feel like doing the monthly quest is pointless. The rewards are outdated compared to effort and time you are putting into it. What I would appreciate is a high level overall roadmap and communication to put the player base at ease. Like hey everyone, for every given month we are going to update this part, rebalance stuff on this area, and you can see it for the upcoming 6 months or so. That would give transparency. If they would like to be really really awesome, they would collect like a list of areas and painpoints that they think it's needs to be fixed, Then CCP members would be able vote and help to prioritize what they should focus on, giving us minimal chance to have an influence on what part should be better. We are always saying Kabam is taking our money when we buy deals and stuff, but going down a road and involving your community like that could turn this into like hey, i am supporting Kabam w my purchase as I would like them to do better and be better. The financial success and the satisfaction of the community could go hand in hand and personally I think the happier ppl would spend more. I saw some specific suggestions on how to buff and change events and rewards. I don't want to go into that, i leave that to the smarter ones. I rather focus on the change in the attitude first then the rest could be easily figured out together. But to also mention some good stuff too, I do agree that the 7* starting pool is really great. I remember when I got my first 6* - Blackbolt - well, wasn't too happy about it. This pool is much better and seems that they found a good balance. The side event reward increase is awesome and its a big win! I love that. What they did in March w the Incursion event, i think that should be permanent and that was awesome too! High five on that!
How i understand the terms you mentioned Crit rate means. How often a critical hit will occur. High crit rate it will occur more often. Low crit rate less often. Crit resistance is a champ with high crit resistance means a champ will be less likely to crit against them. Guateed crit is self explanatory I believe lol Armor reduces damage coming in mainly physical
I agree with most of your points…the only exception is the merc/pilot topic. I have little respect for those whom need another to complete content for someone’s account. Why play the game if you need someone to do it for you? If you are incapable than play something easier. Rather than flexing in chats about rewards you paid to get and failed to earn, but I recognize this is a microcosm of the world as whole and people will pay for these services in most games.
I've been playing the game almost from the very beginning. And the game today is vastly different from what it was as far as complexity and confusion. There are nodes today that are so purposely overcooked it's nearly impossible to progress unless you spend and spend on revives and potions or you have elite type skill or the perfect ranked champs. It can be emotionally demoralizing and NOT FUN at all. I have the random characters I have, some are easy to play others seem like you have to have a masters degree to understand them much less play them. Just to be an above average player requires study, but even if you have the knowledge you still have to have the skill. For most of us completing act 7 is a dream (have you seen the HP and nodes on these bosses?) completing EOP is a fantasy 90% of the player base will never do it. Where's the fun in that? And now that 7 stars are in the game it feels like all the time, work, and money spent to rank up 6 star champs has or soon will be irrelevant. It's depressing. I don't even have a rank 5 6 star yet. It's crazy.
Nice work as always Vega. Have to agree with everything you say. here is some feedback for kabaam. Lets make the ascension path for lower rank champions skill based, and or time and grind based. Not money based. Give something back. Let the lower and middle tier player have a shot at being competitive if they want too. The spenders will still spend. Everyone is happy
Wish you are right and kabam is watching and reading these comments, I spent a lot of money out of love for this game (>50k) but the love has been dead for a long time. The arrival of the 7* brought a nice renew to my anticipation which quickly died. I play when I can instead of playing during all my free time. Always valued your videos. Side note for kabam: I understand you are a business and customer will always find you based on your marketing, the people that keep your dinner on the table don’t have fun! Think about it.
I have not played the game since around January, when Kabam arbitrarily decided to increase difficulty of content, especially event quests. The entire point of upgrading your roster is to make current difficulties easier and to prepare to take on new difficulties. The game already took enough time, so when Kabam made a decision that made that worse, it was proof that Kabam had lost touch with the players’ experience of playing the game. Kabam has tunnel vision or group think lately. Kabam is too focused on telling players how we should like the game, instead of listening and acknowledging the feedback we are giving them.
12:00 crit rate is basically the percentage at which you are able to crit per hit. lets say crit rate is 25% meaning theres a 25% chance oh getting a crit on your single hit. armor is i think your defence stat. basically reduces the incoming attack by a certain percentage based on your armor rating guaranteed crit is basically your 100% crit rate meaning the chance at getting a crit on your each hit will be 100% crit resistance reduces the chance of getting crits from your opponent. if your crit resistance is 100% lets say that means you wont get hit by a crit hit from the defender idk if this a decent explanation but this is what i understand after playing this game for past 4 and a half year or i think more dont remember really. dont be angry if u think this is wrong info or explanation. just let me know nicely coz in the end we all just want to have fun with this game
A lot to chew on but on my mind is battleground and reducing stress levels. Many in my alliance don’t play because advancing demand never losing two in a row. For weaker accounts, the random draft makes it difficult to select the champs you need to be competitive. So there is a lack of liquidity resulting often I n mismatch that discourages smaller accounts even more. Solution: victory advancement is based on cumulative rounds and/or matches won. Even small accounts can win a single round and given enough of them…will advance them. E.g. win 10 out of 10 rounds, you are bronze 2. Win 10 out of 100 rounds, you are bronze 2 it just took longer. Whatever Kabam loses in selling battle shields, they will make up in energy refills. But the game will be more fun and less stress.
Perfect video! Thanks for this really hope kabam DO take notice of it cos it’s all true! The game could be so so much more! The foundations are there it’s just needs more love! 😔👍👊😔
Hey vega big fan here of your channel. I know you wanna give kabam reasons why inputs aren't always the issue sayin maybe your playing on the wrong angle or whatever lol but we've been playing this game for years man we all of a sudden dont miss parrys nd dex's kabam really messed up the inputs and now they dont know how to fix them/ Get them back to normal they gotta take the heat for that. If the game ran smooth maybe they have time to fix major bugs and other issues lol, but who knows. they definitely need more workers to help them with most stuff likely more CCP players would definitely help them with these issues because their people that actually play the game everyday. And also id love to see rewards update accross the entire game i point you to Lags and KT1s channel for those points and i think if all this gets done were in a great place for Mcoc.
Hey. Thanks for the video. Solid content as usual. Been trying to organize this reply in a logical way such that it makes sense. I hope it does, and like the video I apologize if this ends up being a tome. In the simplest terms with the most convenience definitions, Kabam is in business to make money. I assume a sizeable portion of its profits come from in game spenders. The prices of many of the offers are not cheap. Given this, it can only be assumed that most of the spenders are individuals with (likely) decent disposable income. Extrapolating further, people with disposable income are usually above the average age of mobile gamers. In short, folks who have been around the block. Setting that aside for the moment, it seems to me, that Kabam has a history of being incredibly disingenuous with the communications and customer service of its player base. How many times were we told the parry bug fix was coming? Ascension crystals? The bugs and modders/hacks in BG are well known. And my personal recent favorite: "with the introduction of 7*s, we will do all we can to respect your existing roster." And I am sure I missed many more. Know many companies that provide this type of customer service and stay in business long (other than airlines)? Kabam's historical attitude to the players' concerns appears to be to ignore it in the hopes the ire goes away. They bank on the loyalty of the player base because players have no where else to go. Now come back to my theory of the player base: "older" players with disposable income. Mature individuals tend to be more patient but the reason why we are being patient leaves a mark/impression. Right now, more than any other time in the game, I get the STRONG feeling that the patience for many is over. Like many, I have played for years. I am currently in a top 5 AQ alliance and given my time in the game, I have numerous friends in similar situations. When I saw the prestige and the attack of the 7*, it struck me as Kabam doing anything but respecting rosters build over years. I saw this while trying to do battlegrounds. The battlegrounds only added to the frustration. I reached out to some of my friends in my alliance and numerous other high prestige alliance -- maybe 50 people in total. The general sentiment is we are all headed to the exits - I am not sure I even found an alpha or beta error in the bell curve of my informal survey. Seems most have stopped spending and many have curtailed their playing time significantly. Kabam may still be able to stop this mass migration. I do not pretend to know enough about their programs, profits or customer service model to point to specific suggested fixes. My best advice to Kabam is you need to say what you mean and mean what you say, especially when talking to your customers. I am not sure they are actually capable of doing that though.
@@Vega583 I understand talk is cheap but if the individuals with whom I have spoken actually do leave, because of the current state of the game IMHO Kabam will have a difficult time attracting suitable replacements. Newbies who pick up the game in it’s current state probably won’t stay long.
if there were more diverse rewards in the incursions store i think that would be good. as is idk anyone who does incursions because our 6 star rosters are solid now.
10:52 this will be a revolutionary idea. 24:15 like we all get messages in mail box CCP members should also get a separate mail box in which they should be informed about what is coming . TLDR: This was a good video
I am a "newbie" player, and knowing how difficult it is to get revives (especially at the beginning of the game), I would love it if until act 5 it would be possible to restart the campaign battles, because we are still learning about the game, and I think this would be very beneficial for us, because we could take a battle against a korg for example, and test 5 different champions to try to understand better what the korg does in defense, without slowing down the progress.
This will be long, but as usual, you hit it on the head. I love this game, and there are so many talented people working on it. The art department, champ designers, balance team, etc. But it feels like any of the sort of logistic/business side of the game is totally incompetent. I have played a lot of games, and a lot of mobile games, and none of them have issues at the clip/severity that mcoc does. Additionally, the forum system for announcing issues needs to go. In-game announcements are a NECESSITY for any sort of issue. The best comparison I can give right now is Marvel Snap. One of their new cards, Kitty Pryde, came out bugged. They made announcements on every social media platform, a huge splash screen in game on the home page, disabled the card and gave us a timeline for both the fix and compensation because it's something people spent premium resources to acquire. We're having a similar issue with the 7 star fiasco, and there's a forum thread halfway down the page with 2 brief responses, and that's it. That, to me, is why I want to quit. People spent a lot of money on this game, and we are absolutely not treated like customers who spend a lot of time or money would be treated anywhere else in the world. I have been in Kabam's corner a lot, because I know people who work there and that it isn't always their fault, but enough is enough. There needs to be serious change in leadership/management because that's where I assume these problems stem from, not the individuals we can see and interact with. All I know is that if I ran a business with the issues this game has and it was handled in the way that this game handles 90% of issues, I'd be mortified. I'm still thinking over whether I want to quit or not, but the more I think about it, the closer I get to pulling the trigger
I agree with everything, except with Mercs being part of the game, that's something that is supposed to be prohibited for a reason. So if you are a Merc or you pay mercs you already know about the consequences of doing that
I love this! I think it is also difficult to progress as a new player. There’s no guide in the game that walks you through what buffs and debuffs are. I had to watch a lot of youtube videos just to have some semblance of understanding. Some of the early content should be nerfed too. As more characters get buffs, it gets increasingly hard to play, especially as you’re still learning the game. I used to easily destroy Hulk and then out of no where, he just became much harder to beat. It just sucks that in order to keep up with the news of the game, you need to go out of your way to watch youtube videos. Its a shit ton of work that doesn’t make it fun anymore.
Vega, about the terms and basic game understanding I would agree. Those handful of fights as a first time summoner are quick and once they are gone they are gone. No going back to review what is a block, how do I do a medium attack again? And compared to another mobile game I play MCOC is way more complex and to not have a library of game terms and basics is kinda bewildering.
The arena is just dead to me. I just can't stand the bots. You can't have me believe people are not botting when someone like antman as a 6* is going for over 70 million. I just can't believe someone felt the need to put up 70+ mil for over a champ that has been in the basic for years.
The fastest reaction time in Olympic 100 meter dash start time is .104 seconds. The average for world class athletes is .15 seconds. They are better then all of us. The average reaction time in MCOC is a tenth that. Facts. They need to put better limiters on computer input. It's that simple.
I agree with everything that was said in this video. I do have one thing I would like to add and I do hope Kabam reads these comments because there are a ton of great ideas here. But one thing in particular I seen mentioned and it affected me also was the 7* and how powerful they are. And being in that weird state to where you don't know if you should just abandon your 6* roster that you spent years building for these new 7* champs which doesn't seem right or fair to me. And if everyone remembers when 7* were first talked about they were talked about with a thing called Ascension to where our 6* and even 5* rosters would not become irrelevant. But yet here we are and 7* have been released and people are wondering what happened to Ascension? Is this another thing Kabam promised all those months ago and has now put on the back burner hoping we would forget? Just a comment in the forums, a post in game, or anything to let the community know what is going on would be so helpful. And that goes with exactly what you are talking about here. Acknowledging an issue is so much better than just trying to hide from it. Great Video👍
Not having a good time either. My first 7 star rolled past Domino for a Spider-Gwen (not happy). Then I finished the stars event last night to open my second 7 star and sandwiched between two Hulks I got…. Venom the Duck!! 2 of the 3 worst pulls in the entire pool of 7 stars!
The continuing parry issue that's still going on made men realize that they're something else going on. I 100% believe that they make so much money from this "bug" from its millions of players that they just throw us a compensation package and expect us to forget. How can a fundamental part of the game be broken for so long?? Well.... Because they want it that way. And the response from them about why they're taking revive farming away is just a flat out lie! I would have rather them said, We taking them away so yall spend more dolla dolla bills yall! At least then it would be the truth.
2 months ago I deleted mcoc. I played this game for more than 5 years, but the last months it felt wrong to loose so much time. Best decision, go out and enjoy summer😊
I don't spend anything on the game. This is my 7th year playing. I only have 7 six stars. Rank 2 . I'm happy playing when I can .. going away for weeks or months and back when I feel like it. People give too much credit to a video game. Just enjoy it , play it and have fun. Those that play hard and spend ,$$ is all a personal choice . No reason for people to be mad or have envy about it. I get all your points Vega. And I can't relate to any of them. But I can respect all that your saying.👍
There’s so many good aspects of the game right now but I just feel like the investment in infrastructure is a problem. BGs issues Crystal/rewards crashing we’re going to get significant lag on Tuesday when the features drops. This feels avoidable but also feels like there’s a lack of either care or investment in preparation. The red wifi signal seems like a constant companion and you never know if what you just spent your time doing will count. The fact this potentially ruins the 7* event is very frustrating.
I wish this game wasn't so unfriendly toward the color blind. In particular dark red text on a dark grey/black background is extremely hard to read in areas like "how many shards do I have out of 10k needed for a crystal". Also the L1/L2 revives look sooo similar. A color-blind toggle to change reds to orange/blue or another high contrast color would go a long way.
!00% agree . Love hearing your thoughts . Thank you!....Im In a postion right now which many have not talked about but I think its affecting alot of people My Seven stars now opened five which unfortunately got dupe and cant finish last two paths in event because I still have 4 7stars and need five to fiinish event. Anyway Alot of the points from all paragon and 7stars i opened did not get points to the event It will screw me so bad if kabam doesnt figure this out. Has anyone else have this bug?
Personally ive had tons of fun and enjoyment the last few months on the game but im not blind to the issues its had also. the crippling Input issues in war, aq, general content are incredibly frustrating. but my main gripe is how kabam have monetised their game so heavily with this event and a massive bug has occurred to me when i spent money on units to progress in the ally 7* event, i spent the units, attempted to pop the 10 crystals and the game froze. the game then promptly kicked me out, i had lost my 10 crystals but got the dupes from them but i HAD NOT gotten the points from it. I would have considered that acceptable if: A: Kabam responded to my ticket to this situation which i have posted 4 days ago and no reply B: People like me were compensated or atleast acknowledged via a forum post saying we would be compensated etc i thoroughly believe the games economy will shift in the coming weeks with AQ, Sigil etc all being updated in some regard as there is a dire need for it right now. Im a massive marvel fan and fan of mcoc in general and i play it 10x more than most other AAA games today. I and others like myself want to see it succeed for as long as possible. We just want to be acknowledged with our issues and not left in the dark with a lot of them like the input issues currently for example.
@@Vega583 It really is infuriating mate. Appreciate you voicing your opinion without censoring what you say just because of your close relationship with kabam. Any chance we could see a Red Goblin in depth look anytime soon? 👀. Would love to see your thoughts on him as a champ
I don't understand the landscape of mobile gaming, where users are so willing to use a broken product. Imagine if you took your car to same shop over and over and every time they were suppose to fix something, they just broke something else. You would contact the BBB and a lawyer and sue them, yet an app can do this all day, every day and its just...business as usual. Insane.
There is nothing currently like this game on the market or even remotely similar to its vast landscape, gameplay, progression or content No other game marvel wise I have come across where they have this intuitive of a gameplay design with nodes etc. That’s the reason I keep playing atleast amongst all the crap ingame
One of the nodes in 7 star quest 1, the 1 7* path is not working properly. The one that gives you guaranteed crit when you intercept. Was trying it with doom and sp3 never got a crit even though I was intercepting right before it and I was getting crits on the base attackers after that. The other annoying thing, why does it take ages to popopen 5 crystals? Honestly it is bad enough that you get rubbish out of those paragons, you also have to wait 1 minute to pop 10 of them. I honestly stopped buying them because of this.
BGs matchmaking is the main problem I was a throne breaker player with not even a single rank4 6 star only 5 rank 3s and i will always getting matched with the players who had 10 plus rank4 and couple of rank 5s how am I supposed to defeat them it's totally unfair it is so demotivating
Battleground: after grinding it to Gladiator Circuit each season, the lag/time out issues of this month put me over the edge. I had issues since day one. It's the only part of the game that penalize you for ranking your champs. The more you rank up, the more you are match with higher/bigger account. I have 2 accounts. And my Jr account is a lot more enjoyable in term of matching. Why Cav accounts make it to Gladiator baffle me. Emoji !! What a waste of precious dev time. If the game mode was stable, sure, but that's not the case at all. Give us the means to always turn it off. Arena: I pay for the Sigil and I truly believe that feature shouldn't be behind a pay wall. And as far as testing, that's a recuring issue and it shows Kabam priority is shipping the content ahead of the quality. It's a now a farce, every single monthly update come with a long list of issues that usually take a week or 2 to fix and sometimes only on the next release witch of course comes with another set of issues. It is as if Kabam just stop caring about what they are shipping out. Mercs? Kabam don't even moderate the global chat, they are tolerating it until they don't (meaning, it affects their bottom line). If they were serious, they would take it out from the global chat.
I feel like the monetization should come from aquiring champions and rank up resources. Sometimes the fights themselves feel like money grabs, for the average player that isn’t fun, and it becomes cost efficient to hire a Merc to do that particular fight. Not saying it’s right, but it happens. Also quality of life improvements should be afforded to everyone. Maybe make 2 weeks free and 2 weeks on the sigil? Kabam seems to always be playing from behind, after 9 years they should have some idea what the community wants? Retire the phrase “as intended”😀
Yea, in my opinion, this game is not on a good place. First off, I believe they jumped the shark on 7*s. Already being able to get a rank 2 just completely bypassed 6* r5. I don't even have a rank 5 yet and already I feel like I need to save for 7*s. The game performance is at an all time low. Releasing champs with bugs, whether we are told about it or not, is not acceptable. It's clear they need to allocate funds to more hands on deck. I feel like there may be a strong crunch culture there at Kabam and that is not healthy for the employees or the game. The monetization model, even more so after the arena QoL mistake, just makes that gap that much bigger. With big competitive modes like AW and BGs, few to play need a way to stay above water. The stores need retuning. Big time
Very well said. To me, theres no excuse for kabam. They're making money hand over fist and cant fix their own product. Its not about resources, its about negligence and greed at this point. Their customer service is basically obsolete considering the sheer lack of professionalism and understanding of the product theyre representing. Then for them to say "plan better" is a slap in the face. Whomever is running the show needs to be under consideration for replacement because theyre apparently not qualified to oversee a product of this magnitude.
I do not like how 7*s were introduced, or how they are already superior to r5 6*s at r1. When 6*s were introduced, they didn’t surpass maxed 5*s until r3. I have four r5s and they seem insignificant now. My roster--in which I have invested a lot of time and money into--has been devalued.
I quit playing, to much content I already can’t keep up with, now because I am not even close or willing to pay to become Paragon tomorrow I Ann completely left out of the 7 star event, not that I even have enough for a 7* because they were so brilliant they set the price at 15k and I only have 7.3k... The insane gap in pay to play Vs free to play has become so ridiculous. And the big Spenders still don’t clear the content on the champs they have alone, they end up needing units anyways. The scarcity of being able to get and dupe 6* champs is a joke for FTP players, not matter how many 6* champs they get they still have to spend to clear the content, some champs might make it cheaper but the rarity and scarcity means years of time invested mostly FTP, spent a few hundred over the 8 years but my roster cannot get me to paragon no matter if I had every 6* max sig... I would still need units to get Paragon, anyone would. So the inflated price and scarcity of the 6* and now 7* is ridiculous because everyone even Thronebreakers could have been included, got a few 7*s for a grind and all would have been well. But to totally exclude the Thronebreakers makes me determined to quit this unhealthy addiction. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results... silly me I keep thinking all these years Kabam would stop being so greedy and find that more champs equals more fun... makes us want to keep trying different combinations against content possibly units... but spending a ton of units to get champs then a ton of units to get thru content... maybe if more champs were flowing more people would stick around to try to clear content and spend...💡
The main problem I see is the bugs in BG and the 7* gates on shooting to the stars, I have 4 7* champs and one of them is dupe, due to the dupe I can not finish the quest and I don't know for how long I would have to wait to pull another 7* to do so. For the rest I think we have had worse mcoc times than this one, I am playing more than 8 years. Also rewards need to be buffed all across the game, specially with the release of 7*.
I feel let down by 7-STAR champs. Their health pools are good but the attack isn't much better than a R3 6-STAR. I'm pretty disapointed.
@@JosephHaubert they are both 10% better comparing to similar power rating 6*. For example 6* r4 gorr has 44k health and 3.6k attack. 7* r1 has 49.3k and 4k. Both are 10% more.
@@JosephHaubert
They’re only supposed to be equivalent to a 6* r4
Your timing is so perfect. I won’t make this personal since you know what I’m dealing with with Kabam. A huge issue is the incompetence of Kabam’s customer service department. Most don’t have the connections I do and they’d be completely screwed.
Go on….
Yes, I am now hearing quite a few others who are having issues getting the crystals they paid for.
Thank you, Taters
Always thoughtful and evenhanded. Much appreciated.
@@Insidious_RageI’d happily play a new Mcoc 2, even if my stuff doesn’t transfer. Perhaps I’m weird for not getting attached.
@@frostychihuahua5331 that would be my ticket out the game. I’m not losing thousand of dollars just to start all over.
Well said Vega! I agree with all your points. Unfortunately it would be true to form for Kabam to ignore them all. 😕
I think/hope some improvements to the BGs situation you’re describe are coming fairly soon.
Thank you for the response, Aiden
(Insert rant on champion acquisition here lol)
I think you covered most points that are shared by many, and whilst i personally have a list of improvements i would personally like to see, these grander issues deffo need addressing first. Cheers for raising them
With great power comes great responsibility.
I’m a year and a half into into MCOC, I made to paragon a couple of weeks ago, and I get confused on things like:
Crit damage
Light vs medium attack
Buff
De-buff
Etc
Etc
The point being, we need some sort of index/crib-sheet or a simple dictionary in a “help” section within the game to look these up instead of searching around RUclips to try to learn the game.
The spending freeze would never happen because too many players will take it as a chance to get ahead of others not spending
This news came out after I’d recorded but I definitely agree it extremely odd
Very good to talk about how the description are written, it is often very difficult to understand them.
Always giving the most constructive criticism. Thanks for bein a great voice for the community!
The lack of revives is the fun killer, no long form content for me, not going to pay to revive.
Strong work Vega. Well thought out and communicated.
Thanks for the video Vega.
Some comments:
1) would love to have keyword gameplay mechanics explained.
Really interesting content in this video. Feels accurate from my experience of the things you're talking about and I don't disagree with any elements.
Oh I would love limits
Similar as getting from point A to point B
- pay and get a taxi. You can get there fast and without huge effort
- take a bus and you can get there a bit slower and cheaper
- if you do not want to spend any money, there is the option to walk there. You will get there eventually. (But do not complain it is unfair just because people get there faster by taxi).
This
Very insightful and raw. Thanks for this
Vega. The Dad of the Contest.
I feel Kabam needs to talk to players and fix these issues and so much more.
better words have not been spoken my Man
I think the exact moment this game and how I feel about it changed was when they threw +300% attack and +400% health on the lower level tiers of the monthly event quests.
High five on that!
well said vega hard agree on the CCP it sucks when we look like fools
Yep, I do not enjoy that in my real life or on RUclips.
Well said vega! 👊🏻👍
I hope u can hang in there and find the fun again
How i understand the terms you mentioned
Crit rate means. How often a critical hit will occur.
High crit rate it will occur more often. Low crit rate less often.
Crit resistance is a champ with high crit resistance means a champ will be less likely to crit against them.
Guateed crit is self explanatory I believe lol
Armor reduces damage coming in mainly physical
When did they take units out of arena?
I have not played the game since around January, when Kabam arbitrarily decided to increase difficulty of content, especially event quests. The entire point of upgrading your roster is to make current difficulties easier and to prepare to take on new difficulties. The game already took enough time, so when Kabam made a decision that made that worse, it was proof that Kabam had lost touch with the players’ experience of playing the game.
Kabam has tunnel vision or group think lately. Kabam is too focused on telling players how we should like the game, instead of listening and acknowledging the feedback we are giving them.
12:00
crit rate is basically the percentage at which you are able to crit per hit. lets say crit rate is 25% meaning theres a 25% chance oh getting a crit on your single hit.
armor is i think your defence stat. basically reduces the incoming attack by a certain percentage based on your armor rating
guaranteed crit is basically your 100% crit rate meaning the chance at getting a crit on your each hit will be 100%
crit resistance reduces the chance of getting crits from your opponent. if your crit resistance is 100% lets say that means you wont get hit by a crit hit from the defender
idk if this a decent explanation but this is what i understand after playing this game for past 4 and a half year or i think more dont remember really.
dont be angry if u think this is wrong info or explanation. just let me know nicely coz in the end we all just want to have fun with this game
I had not thought of this point about the demographics of spenders. Really great point
‘No compensation’ is a mind-blowingly weird business strategy. Pretty much gaslighting players.
Very well said
Elite video.
It's just dope 😎
The arena is just dead to me. I just can't stand the bots. You can't have me believe people are not botting when someone like antman as a 6* is going for over 70 million. I just can't believe someone felt the need to put up 70+ mil for over a champ that has been in the basic for years.
I really liked that they increased rank rewards to top 400 but as it stands the grind is still unreasonable
Champion info shows u what crit rate damage armor block penetration actually means
I would like more info on Ascension too. It would be helpful to the decision making you bring up
Not having a good time either.
I am now reading and hearing a lot of issues with the crystals and points or not even getting the crystals….crazy this is happening
I been playing for almost nine years, the economy, the rewards, the input issues, the cheaters, I can't take it anymore.
I would have considered that acceptable if:
A: Kabam responded to my ticket to this situation which i have posted 4 days ago and no reply
B: People like me were compensated or atleast acknowledged via a forum post saying we would be compensated etc
i thoroughly believe the games economy will shift in the coming weeks with AQ, Sigil etc all being updated in some regard as there is a dire need for it right now.
Im a massive marvel fan and fan of mcoc in general and i play it 10x more than most other AAA games today. I and others like myself want to see it succeed for as long as possible.
We just want to be acknowledged with our issues and not left in the dark with a lot of them like the input issues currently for example.
I reading this sort of thing so much right now and it’s honestly infuriating that this is happening. I’m sorry it happened to you too
@@Vega583 It really is infuriating mate.
Appreciate you voicing your opinion without censoring what you say just because of your close relationship with kabam.
Any chance we could see a Red Goblin in depth look anytime soon? 👀. Would love to see your thoughts on him as a champ
@@WikiWallace yeah I wish I’d known about this before making the video. Re Roblin: I really don’t know him well and have to defer to Campo and MSD
Insane.
Dude. Exactly my thoughts. I don't even know how if so...a class action has not commenced.
There is nothing currently like this game on the market or even remotely similar to its vast landscape, gameplay, progression or content
No other game marvel wise I have come across where they have this intuitive of a gameplay design with nodes etc.
Big time
16:38 ULTIMATE LEVEL REWARDS?? wtf is this offer? 10$? i dont have it in my store
I burned through just about my entire pots reserve.. controls were bad.. dash attacks and heavies r at super speed in map8
