This was a heroic match by us. No other team would have been able to beat the 3Lions in this tournament. In the first minutes I thought they will destroy us. Fantastic atmosphere in Wembley.

Thomas Haessler 71 International has done great for Germany. When he came as a substitute the game momentum changed in favorite of the Germans. they tied the Game 1-1. In penalty kick, he took the shot to the far left impossible for the goal keeper to catch it.
I am german, and I admit I miss those times when England *really* had a team (the WC teams of 1986, 1990 and also 1996 EC were very strong in my opinion). But to be very honest - I am sure the young players you got now *could* be a strong team in 2 or 4 years, if you get a decent coach. I doubt the current coach is good enough.
The thing is, even when England had a good team (like here) they couldn't win anything because they were always losing penalty shootouts, even if England ever become a decent team again (which I doubt at the moment), they'll still be rubbish at penalty shootouts.

This was amongst the greatest games i've seen in the last 20+years along with Italy vs Germany 2006 SF WC,1998 WC 2ND Round England vs Argentina in terms of passionate football played. When you have such intense rivalries you get a great matchup. This match was unforgettable too bad England didn't win, because this was a star ladden bunch. This Euro 2016 is anything but passionate it is one boring match after the next. Let's see if we will see some quality football in the later stages of the tournament.

10 out of the 12 were amazing. The one Seaman got close to was a bit lucky, and Southgate clearly just was so nervous.

This was amongst the greatest games i've seen in the last 20+years along with Italy vs Germany 2006 SF WC,1998 WC 2ND Round England vs Argentina in terms of passionate football played. When you have such intense rivalries you get a great matchup. This match was unforgettable too bad England didn't win, because this was a star ladden bunch. This Euro 2016 is anything but passionate it is one boring match after the next. Let's see if we will see some quality football in the later stages of the tournament.
