Fantastic show by David at 57. This is one of the best voices in music and it was still great here for all the lifelong fans. Yes it’s sad he died but the chance combination of great song writers with this voice at the right time in 1970 was magic, and fortunately he and the fans realized the magic and he performed these songs for almost 50 years! What a run. Bravo David !!
Watching this again I paid attention to him telling us he was going to give his all to us fans as long as his body can. Think about that! He was such a good person and nice to his fans. I just wish we could have helped him to have more happiness in his life. He wore his beautiful body and voice out because of his depression and drinking. That keeps haunting me that he would not have had to die at 67. I just hope you are happy in Heaven. Love forever, David.
David's life was complex and full of heartbreak. He really didn't have anyone who understood him which is why he eventually turned to alcohol. He worked all his life - not for money, but for love. He loved what he did and he loved his fans. I saw his last concert and he was a broken man. I cried buckets. The sum total of his estate was only $150,000 which he left to his adored son Beau. His death shook my world as he was my first love - along with millions of other young girls in the 70's. May he rest in peace for eternity. Could it be forever? Yes. I never stopped loving him and his beautiful music.
Fantastic performer, very talented, but always expected more from himself, always gave his most, just loved his fans, fabulous person as he was, inside and out, you are sadly missed David our beloved, ❤️❤️
Robert Mauro thanks for putting this on!! I was fortunate to see the Beach Boys a few years ago here in Pa. but not David Cassidy whom I had the biggest crush on as did all "girls" my age!!
ahhh David - he always puts a smile on my face - what a great performer. Takes you right back to the good ol' days we all remember fondly. Can never get enough of DC - mesmerizing. Will always love you!
Imagine what it would have been like for David to stand in front of you and sing a song to just you? With all that feeling? And emotion? And body movement? And care?
Watching on 16/08/2024. David is absolutely loving this performance here! Cant believe only 10 years later, he was taken from the world. So much beauty in one man. 🫠
His mother died 2012..his wife left him years before the final divorce in 2016..took everything he had...gets diagnosis of dementia..already sufferred with rheumatoid arthritis..and he was 67 years old....we don't live forever.
Him loosing his mom was really tough on him....the awful loss he never got over. His x-wife had no right to strip him of everything. As far as I am concerned, she is a cruel & horrible person and didn't deserve anything from him. (But yet she ran to his deathbed-to see what else she could get from him). Him getting Alzheimer's and arthritis was not his fault. All these horrible things were too much for him-thus he turned to alcohol. I can't say that I would not turn to alcohol if I were given the same circumstances to live with. He was only human, just like the rest of us.
Does anyone know if David's piano player was kind of a security guard? Seems like every time I see him, he is scanning the audience. In every video, no matter where they are.
Doesn't he look good here? He is smiling and glowing. I will miss his smile. I wish he would have been there when I was at Epcot. All I got was Ellen Degenerous, who I did not want to see. I will remember David like this. He says he is going to give his all on this show, which he does. Love, Diane
He wanted to be and was somewhat taken seriously as a rocker. More like Rick Springfield successfully made the transition from actor/pinup to legit musician
Is it possible that this show is from 2008? Really appreciate your upload. Would it be at all possible to re-upload the film without using the youtube stabilizer? It's such a great video but the stabilizer messes up the closeups. Thanks again.

Thanks very much for the reply Robert. A fan had sent me audios of the nine 2007 David concerts performed and he did not start any of the shows with I Woke Up In Love as in your video, hence my confusion. The dates for the audios given to me must be incorrect. @@robertmauro2230
Big help indeed. Dates are important to me as a collector. What a great job it must have been for you. If I didn't live in Canada I think I would have attended every one of those concerts over the years. Thanks a lot. @@robertmauro2230
He looked very very healthy here - no way was he boozing or drugging at this time - he looks clean and sober - shame what happened to him - David and Peter Noone and Davy Jones all retained their youthful good looks well into their 50's and 60's -- amazing -- RIP

Great show, DC is healthy, energetic, gracious, and so joyous -- at his best! Lovely performer, and human being, and now a great loss for us all♡

He is so sweet and sensitive . He is really grateful for his fans and he has lots of them! The world seems even more bleak without David in it.
Fabulous! I love it!! I sure wish I could have been there.
I wish I’d been tuned in to David news when he came to Epcot. I’ve lived in the Orlando area since 1998 and I missed it all! 😢

How could Sue Divorce this man in his time of need.. doesn’t make me think very highly of her
Debra Halle He was emotionally and verbally abusive to her which he admitted himself in an interview. He was a complex person not an angel.

Love David Cassidy so RIP !
Why couldn't he stay clean like he is in this performance?

......and worked so hard. Hope his children understand fully now how much of a loss he was to the fans who grew up enjoying him then, and still now.

Thank you, very well said!!
May he rest in peace💖
David starts at 6 minutes into the video. Fabulous performances
Did you let it play through.
What did he do at 18:27 when that lady came up to the stage and turned her back to David? 😐. I thought he was signing her shirt-but I don't know.
Starr Brannon someone took her picture with David ❤️
He planted a kiss on her head and posed for a selfie
Oh, ok. That is awesome that she got a picture & a kiss from him. That's something she'll never forget. 💖

Biggest mistake this man made, was letting Sue into his life. She ruined him She lied ,she cheated, got his name, fame money and left him.

Crikey, i knew he wasn't very good...but i didn't realise he was that bad....how did he manage to have a hit in the 1970s....how ?
