Sometimes just a normal activity helps get us through stressful events. I lost my husband this year and have found my hours of flosstube before his death to be life saving for me as he was very ill. Now, I'm still watching and stitching as a source of healing. Thank you for your friendship. Yes, you are all very important.

I grew up in a small fishing village and I only remember them calling it a slicker. I am at an age where I do remember ribbon candy. We use to go visiting at Christmas time and almost everybody had a dish of all the hard candies out for guests. My son got me a pair of homemade earrings that are pieces of ribbon candy. They are Christmas colors and are made of clay. They are just adorable! Have a wonderful week! Happy stitching.
