- We drove the MG Hector Diesel under the same parameters as the Tata Harrier for this epic fuel economy test. Under such conditions, the Tata Harrier had delivered us 23.9 kmpl. Can this better it?

To all those who are saying don't purchase Chinese mg hector. For your kind information, all these mg Hector's are being manufactured and assembled in halol Gujarat, and this ultimately helps the Indian economy. Fir literate you're self and then give your verdict.
Unbelievable 24 kmpl ka mileage with MG Hector. But have one concern, who drives such a powerful car at a speed of 80 KM/hr. Specially when you are driving to long distances like 1000 or above KM and specially with roads like Yamuna express way or Agra-Lucknow express way. So far haven't see any video of post with such a fantastic mileage about MG. Great Video by the way.... I guess creta will touch 30 if driven on the similar parameters.
I used to drive on 100-120 on highways, but nowadays, i drive 80-90 and my crysta AT Diesel gives a 13.5-14 kmpl
Mileage he got in this top gear run is shown as roughly 24.3kmpl

Appreciate your efforts but at 100kmph all cars give there best results but true results show up in 1hr city traffic drive!! Do that slow drive test n show reality is near to 14kmpl

Due to The tyre size
Harrier has 20mm more width of the each tyre hence HECTOR finally won this

Bro he's right even I've put my car on olx the mileage is so poor and theirs so much lag shift. Maybe you've the manual one but mine is sharp petrol AT. And service is poor too.

Bhai, 12 ka milage hai city ride mei. Highway pe 15 hai.
@@theunpaidriders1056 agreed ,same is the number[12&15] for i20 aswell, the number for Mg-Hector is 8 to 14, except for the above test. So like subramanaya even I would the above test for kia seltos.

Pls suggest how much is the real life mileage of Hector Petrol Manual in city and Highway. Does Hybrid really makes any sense as battery pack cost wd also come into play in the long run.
I am on strict budget of 16L and need to decide upon Hector Variant accordingly.
Wd going for base diesel model make sense if Petrol mileage is really very poor.
If so I will hv to go for Kia Seltos instead, but with a very heavy heart...!!!

@@tejaswaroop4917 Hi great to hear that. See till now my experience with Hector is really superb i haven't witnessed any kind of trouble with my car. It has passed nearly 9 months now and I have completed more than 38,000km and till now it is as good as a new Hector. The engine is phenomenal and I haven't face any kind of problem neither any one in our mg club felt any problem with the engine. I just had to change one of the wheel nothing else. If you want good mileage than go with diesel engine the mileage and performance both are phenomenal. See you get 5 free warranty with Hector and an option to choose from 2 different maintenance plan, classic and premium. I have premium package as it covers wear and tear including battery, tire and collision damage. As I have completed more than 35k kilometres my all 5free maintenance were covered and I recently had my 6th and 7th maintenance that cost me around 14k together. And that's quite genuine after seeing the km reading.

How you can get this mileage, Even company not claiming this, are you don't think it's unique peace of car, or some kind of confusen,
because if it's really give you that kind of milage MG should contact you and correct his all MG car's.
Company itself is claiming around 17kmpl. This guy proves 24kmpl 😂 .
