depends on the driver and this cars it's for skilled pilots not 16 yrs old and this is ironic because I'm 16 but I know the way to handle this car it's doing countersteer and when you do a corner the best way it's do heel-toe for control the rear and push the brake and accelerator very smooth that's how you can do cornering on the MR2 SW20
Giancarlo Lugo you can’t say that snap oversteer isn’t a problem in this car . Even pro drivers got hit with it . Knowing how to control a car and actually controlling it are two different things . i can go on and on about drifting but I can’t drift for shit . You see my point . There are many factors that can change the way you handle a car in a certain situation
@@hijackerjou dude its a mid engine you can't drift on those cars and these kids keep replying a meme about a car they never drove and WHO WOULD DRIFT A MID ENGINE it's a car more for Grip because mid engines have the advantage of the weight distribution and when you drive some cars you have to know how to handle driving a late 80s porsche or a Lamborghini Diablo without driving assistances it's something similar like driving an MR2 on tight corners and hairpins even when Kogashiwa was racing with Takumi Ryosuke explained how to handle an MR and keep pushing the speed and balance on the corner without oversteer and that theory it's real but you have to be very skilled on MR cars in the same way FF pro racers known how countersteer and left foot braking and and how to handle the understeer and avoid it

If you think about how an mr2 is belt you can see snap oversteer written all over it . It’s a mid engine short wheelbase car . Now don’t get me wrong im not saying what you said was wrong of course it’s a great car and it takes skill to handle. I was just pointing out how you said that snap oversteer is just unskillful driving . If that was the case the mr2 wouldn’t be known as one of the cars that suffers from snap oversteer . I can use the same argument about ff’s as well . of course it takes skill not to understeer an ff but also you can’t dismiss the fact that ff’s are prone to understeer . You can say it’s part of their characters I guess. And again different cars act differently in different situations so it’s much more complicated to just throttle control your way out of every corner

the mr2 is so good at handling that it kills you when you downshift wrongly

A lot of the stuff boasted about in that ad for the MR2 isn't even wrong.
The problem is, the only type of person who can actually make use of the MR2's nimble handling, is either an experienced MR driver, or a professional racer. Which, obviously, is not the majority of people who purchased one lol.
