- One pup decided to be naughty and chewed up his owners engagement ring. I brought the ring back to life!

Video Description: I've heard some crazy stories about dogs eating their owners rings, literally swallowing them. This is similar type of nightmare, the dog got tantalized by the platinum ring and thought, "hey, that looks tasty!" He chewed it up and the platinum got majorly dinged and bent out of shape. The center stone was popped out, only to be later retrieved by the owner.
As a goldsmith I was able to take the ring which had been chewed up by the dog and bring it back to life. I did this by first rounding out the ring. Next I took care of all the gouges and dings in the ring. After that I made sure all of the stones were tight and I set the center stone back into place. Once everything was done at the bench I polished the ring back up to a high polish. When it was all said and I done I'm happy to report that the ring looks good as new.

Cats. I love dogs but If I had to choose it’s cats. Also found channel from the Ariana video. That was such a wonderful idea. I love that you were able to draw in a whole new type of audience by thinking outside the box. I’m currently in school for cosmetology and we’re told the importance of creating a large customer base. I love doing fashion colors like painting rainbows on peoples hair so I’m worried about how to appeal to an older generation who want a perm or gray hair touch up. Seeing this video inspired me and gave me confidence that I too can draw in other clients by doing something different and promoting it to draw in a diverse clientele. Thank you thank you thank you

I’d suggest just going to the dog park to enjoy other people’s dogs. Having a dog means spending hundreds of dollars every other month or 3 months for vet bills, buying flea and tick ointment every month/3months/6months/year, grooming every month depending on the breed of dog, having to go walk the dog every day no matter how cold or hot it is out or how sick or lazy you feel...not being able to go on vacation without being able to drop $1k for dog boarding, picking up poop...food every month. It’s a huge responsibility, and the worst part won’t be any of these negative sides of owning a dog. It’ll be when the dog dies. Maybe it got out of your yard and got run over. Maybe it ran onto the road while you were out walking it and it got hit by a car and you broke your arm and it died (happened right beside my work). Maybe someone stole it. Maybe cancer took its life. Maybe you had to put it down. Maybe you woke up one day and found it lying, breathless on its bed, peacefully. Either way it’s going to hurt and you might not be able to deal with the pain of losing something that depended on you, considering you would be it’s only world. It’s not fun, owning a dog. It’s torture. It’s love.

Obviously the doggo just wants some more heavy duty chew toys! So glad the dog didn’t swallow any of it and choke.... amazing restoration, I never would have expected the ring to be so stunning
Kong toys are good. My lab didn't manage to destroy them but he did destroy a cupboard and a wall

My fiance and I started out long distance, and I was always into energy work and crystals and all that. Rose quartz is a symbol of unconditional love. When we first met in person I had given him one of my two rose quartz stones. Years down the road, he proposed with this ring. I was beyond shocked that he had gone out of his way to find a rose quartz ring. It was by far the greatest day of my life. We are now expecting our first baby in March and will hopefully be getting married this July. (And we still have our pup who is a lot better about not chewing on things that aren't his😉)

Getting it back and seeing it back in it's original state was an incredible moment. I cried when I found it mangled, but cried harder when I had seen it so beautifully restored. This guy is a miracle worker.💕

Amazing transformation
I like the idea of a rose quartz stone used in place of a diamond for the main stone. I think the slight pink color of the quartz is very pretty in this ring and frankly, as nice as diamonds are, I do get tired of seeing them so frequently in engagement rings. Using a different type of stone makes this particular engagement ring more unique.
Thank you for this! I'm surprised at the amount of people who want to hate on a ring that they don't have to wear. It actually has meaning to it (if you read the comments I explain why) but I think it's the absolute best thing in the world. 🥰 I love that my ring is unique in that way.

@@taarnarae6343 It is an absolutely beautiful ring. I love the detail work of the two entwined strings on each side of the stone. It is so appropriate for an engagement ring because two people joined in marriage are like two strings entwined to be one. And the light pink color of the quartz stone, for me at least, represents the first blush of love. It is a gorgeous ring. Diamonds are pretty, but they are used all the time and really kind of boring with being seen all the time. Your ring is one of a kind and unique. I like it very much and anyone who "hates on it" means that they have no ability to recognize an object of beauty.
