Dear MG,
18 months ago I started work as a back-office person in a nice jewelry store. I was interested in maybe becoming a jeweler, and showed a lot of interest to my shop's master jeweler. 6 months ago He took me on full-time to be his apprentice, and now I'm doing like 50 repairs a week, and doing 10 hours a week of additional skill study. I absolutely love this journey, as it has no ceiling, and allows me to be a part of so many beautiful things in life.
I just wanted to thank you. I'm starting to do some really cool stuff now, and my early binge-watching of your videos really helped ignite my curiousity. You have helped me, and I am grateful.
That is awesome!
A blob and some silver leftovers powder turned into a beautiful ring, what an amazing finale for this serie. Great video! ❤

Only thing from outside 24 (or near) carot gold is way to soft. Would have gone with 18 carot or whatever longer life. Perhaps add copper and silver to mix to keep color similar to pure gold. But you obviously know the better amalgam ratios.

I calculated the price of the ring and it came to around $561.8 for anyone sending offers.
Did you include all the hours of work involved, and the chemicals that were used to refine the Blob?
He did not. That ring would be at least 3k with the work involved.
This start to finish thing was absolutely epic! every part of the process has been really cool!
it was so nice to see the learning process of refining gold and silver and seeing the surprise in his words. and lastly seeing him in his element making jewelery.
Any video with blobs and the precious metal pasta machine is a winner by me
Loved watching the process of all 3 videos. It also reminded me I need to have the finish on one of my rings redone as it has smoothed out over time.
Ahh yes. 99.9% pure jewelry. Not a single drop of non-jewelry in it.
From 2 blobs to this. Really simple design but yet it's 100% silver and gold, which has a pretty big history on the channel.
Hope to see more videos like this (and chemistry)
The Blob Ring, the sequel to Elden Ring we never expected.
Blobfrey the first blob lord
elden blob
Yes
I came across your channel just yesterday and I had to subscribe. I always love to watch people make things out of Gold.
Awesome final product, very cool to see the original chunks of unrefined metals go through the full process
A very clever way to make a fidget ring and it turned out beautiful!
Nicely explained, too!
I've really enjoyed the Blob series thanks for sharing 👍
i thought you would say on the end:"and may the blob be with you".
Thanks for sharing. Loved the whole journey!
The ring turned out fantastic. The combination of Gold over silver is classy. Great Workmanship.
I would love to learn how to make jewelry. Especially after watching you make that awesome ring!
The final effect is so good.
And the fact that it was made from a blob, just GREGIC.
Bro rounded up pi to 3,15 💀
how cares about a calculator. or 3.14 or 3.141
Because he didn’t want a tight fit he wanted a bit more space so he rounded it up
So happy to see the blob become a ring. And it looks great

Nice blob work👌
I went to a silversmithing workshop back in march & made myself two rings from sterling silver blanks, one fits on my ring fingers while the other fits on my middle fingers. My fingers are quite chunky so I had to make them quite wide, thus I had some difficulty with the mandrel. I've just checked the slightly smaller one & the external diametre is 27 mm while the internal is just a dash under 25 mm. The bands are only 5 mm wide though.
These are the only rings I have that fit my fingers, so I'm still getting used to the sensation.
I obviously didn't make the blanks myself, but I'd be interested in making some more for myself. Probably stick with just silver though.
oh man i looove those brushes that give you a satin finish! and especially when you use it on a silver and gold combo piece - it's my new favorite thing to do, but with gold inlays in silver pieces. the texture really enhances the contrast between the metals, makes it look super classy, and also makes the piece look so lovely and soft. this is such a gorgeous piece! also, thank you for reminding me that i wanted to make a spinner ring :D
The famous blob😮
I'm not the only one who hopes that this isn't the last part of this series
Gorgeous ring❤
great project!
love your videos. keep making them :)
Yay a new video!
Love the look, may have something similar made with white gold instead of sliver
As much work as you put into that project I think you should keep it honestly great fidget ring btw
Very cool ring man wish I was rich enough to make ya a mad offer well done fine craftsmanship
How do you collect leftovers from cutting and grinding it?
I love your videos so much !
The Blob is a unique piece of jewelry!
So supper neat! Seems like “pure” whatever would be hard to clean and keep from reacting. I might be wrong though.
I always wanted to be a jeweler, until now - that math!!! 😂😂😂
when i was a kid i found out that diamonds are made with anything with high heat and pressure, so i went home and took a piece of paper and a rock and i pressed it as hard as can put it in flames and it did not work lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Keep it up, the algorithm treated you well
This is a blob that got its act together and organized itself into a better blob
I understand cutting through and re soldering the seam.but why did you wedge the solder in the seam to begin with? Is it better than place the solder on TOP of the seam?
Would it have been better to fuse the join to maintain the .999?
I love this series
cool video👍
This content is priceless. Love ur works. Just don't cast this ring into the lava
Thanks 🙏👍
what do you do with the extra
The blob house has found it's new host.
I was expecting you to say "the one ring to rule them all" and I was not disappointed!
The great journey of Blob
I got emotional at the end ❤
I like to know what the final weight of both the gold and silver parts of the ring to calculate a retail value on the metals.
Damn, if I didn't rewatch the series I would never see this part 3
I’m not metal expert or anything but what would make sense to me would be to heat your mold a bit to do your pour. I see bigstackD on yt do that especially for the bar molds for copper because copper cools quick as well. Just some input but the ring is beautiful
this is so cool! my dream job is to make jewelry!
Awwww yisss! LOTR reference!
If Sauron had this very large ring, he wouldn't have lost.
I think this video you really ended off the series well by being in your own zone with making jewelry. this was your craft, and you shine at it. A new type of metal blob next time👀
Did you end up selling this ring? I love it and the budgetary of this really intrigued me!
I would love to know how much you get for the ring

Sreetips is a legend glad his knowledge and others could help this ring be made
in the previous video, you said there was coper in the left overs, so i was hoping we were gonna get part 3 being you extracting copper XD
Your videos made me interested in smithing
Pls make more videos like this and upload more THX!
So is there any way to know what the rest of the blob was?
The gold ✨️ and silver droplets that dropped off to the floor while you were pouring the molten metals. What happened to them?
Beautiful all hail kinc blob
That blob reflects my life ❤
God save the blob!
My second wife once called me a blob since I couldn’t go a day without a few mcchickens. Sure wish she had valued me like you did to these blobs.
😂😂😂😂😂
How dare you besmirch the sacred blob with this comparison 😂?
How are the gold granules made? Is it just from tipping it into water?
what is your favorite thing about your job?
5000$ my bid !!
What’s your price?
We all are like blobs, but through refinement, our value changes
Was the silver yours to keep
10:21 congratulations you did a thing!
what happens dust collects bring silver and gold ring?
6:00 why the gold blob looks like a camel 🐪 😂
when is the next vid coming out i want to see MORE!
Did you make the letf over in to a blob again?
To the guy who sent the blob, thank you so much! I love how generous you were! Also sending more gold for him to make this ring I think you deserve it. Thank you so very much.
I'm curious to know if the ring sold and if so, how much it sold for:
The Blob was a true trash to treasure piece. Im glad I was here for it.
It is funny that when full screen the welder is big while actual size is smal!
I watched the video and all I heard was blobloblobloblobloblob. I thought it was a good video.
Nice vedio👍️👍️
Nice!
Make a part 4
You should make something with cobalt
The gold really should be set into a groove because the silver is soft and has no density at all...The gold will come off the ring sooner rather than later...
idk what this means but it sounds legit
@@toebiter69 What it means is...1.) The Gold should have been used as the main ring, not as the spinner...
2.) Because Silver is really soft and has no density like Gold does, it should have been used as the spinner, not the main ring because it'll get banged and will deform easily
3.) The main ring should have had a groove cut in it so the spinner could spin around easily but have had tight fitting walls to keep it from free floating...
4.) The way he hammered the insides of the ring will have that spinner bobbing all over the place instead of a nice tight even circle...
I used to have a similar ring like that but the whole thing was 14K Yellow Gold for the main ring and 14K White for the spinner...However, it came from Israel and cost about $500-$600 bucks and that was over 15 years ago...So, though the process was cool to look at and see, it really was sloppy and unfortunately it won't last long for all the work he put into it...

@@yashasvihanda6516 thanks...
When I was a kid I used to make silver rings from old silver spoons. Hammered only, surprised I never went into the business in hindsight.
Is it possible that the gold gets stretched by the fidgeting against the silver and being brushed against things from daily use so that it falls off?
Pi 3.15?😅
He should have put tiny blobs of gold and silver on the spinny part of the ring.
It would double as a scratcher
I subscribed because your channel is only about “GOLD”
A doubt:
Will the constant fidgeting grind the gold against the harder silver?
Will there be any loss?
