Loved the way the panel handled the bullying question. You can tell Steven was genuinely upset. Peter is right, the bullies are missing the message of the show. "Never cruel, never cowardly."
I have absolutely loved this pilot with Bill and just totally fell in love with her character, and I do not even care if she is gay or not as that is not the point for me to connect with this character. However, her personality does really remind me of myself in every way possible especially the curiosity and reaction to the Doctor.
I know this is a bit late......But one thing I hate is how not only "fans" will bully other fans, but they will also hate on the actors as well and I literally cannot even imagine how you can pick on the person who plays someone you watch.....like how?
Interesting point about people not having seen every episode. I'm pretty sure I saw every episode as they screened from Hartnell up to the end of Pertwee's period, and then maybe half of Bakers run.
Thanks for that daddy moffat about bullying. and internet bullying is even more pathetic, don't even have the balls to tell you that "you suck" to your face... Still it is super hard to deal with that when you are so young and sensitive. I don't know why some people seem to get a thrill off of going out of their way to be nasty to people. Don't give them the privilege of letting them have any of your precious time/ and thought forget them and continue living your life.
He said around the time of him moving on from the role he had a suspicion that they may be moving in a female direction (which was furthered when he popped into a Paul Smith shop and they told him the BBC had requested more of the PS chinos his doctor wore but in a "waist size too small for any man to be wearing".
Little did we know it was all about to fall apart and dive into total disaster under Chibnall and get even worse with the return or RTD. Very bitter to watch this. And it turned out that Tom Baker was wrong - it's not an actor-proof role if the writing and agenda stuff comes into any franchise. When Capaldi & Moffat left, the show died.
Dr Who is rubbish now moffat is writing it. There is no contrast anymore between the companion and the dr and the writers they've used dont understand dr who universe
I feel sorry for Capaldi. He has been a fan most of his life, finally got to play the Doctor, and was saddled with awful scripts. Now he is leaving. Wish he stayed for at least another year, just so he would have better scripts (assuming the new showrunner can save the show).

To be fair some of the actors in recent years have said some incredibly tone deaf things

Will you upload the full Victoria panel?
Did they watch a clip at 3:38? There was fade out of applause there.
They showed us three clips from the first ep towards the start of the panel.
Can you please upload the Victoria panel?

Peter picking his pronouns carefully around the next Doctor question is hilarious.
I wonder if he knew already?

46:57 cringe
How?
it's cringe to be perhaps a tad tongue tied and starstruck at meeting and interacting with one of your idols? I'll take cringe any day.

Oh shut your boring whiney gob.
If you were this angry at Moffat's Who, I'm very intrigued as to what you think of Chibnall's era. I imagine you'll just repeat the same comment.
