The reason the 7000 doesn't have a pop up head light is for durability reasons. If the headlight burns out or stops woring for whatever reason you can just replace it since its interchangeable. This one on the other hand you would have to most likely take it apart to fix the light.

Hi, leds can stay on forever :D . Its only because an rca is cheaper than the pop up light.
