@@bduddy55555 To my knowledge (and Wikipedia backs me up here) this is the only time the Fox broadcast network has shown any AOWR event (they've never shown an IRL race)
22:15 LOL, Tommy Kendall finished on the podium between two women in the Toyota Pro-Celebrity race-And both of them were Sarah Fisher and Danica Patrick! And people always say Danica has never won more than one race in her career.
John Berger 2002 was a turning point in the CART/IRL war; most of the prominent drivers, teams, and races were still part of CART, but the IRL had the exclusive contract with ABC/ESPN, some of CART's most prominent stars (Helio, de Ferran, Al Jr), Penske, and the races at Gateway, Homestead, Michigan, Nazareth, and Phoenix, along with the Indy 500. In 2003 the momentum had clearly swung to the IRL. Also, in 2002, Ridley, Herta, and Moreno had no ride.
The only CART race on FOX
Very weird seeing open-wheel cars on FOX and not NASCAR
FOX always took a few races from series on SPEED, they did the same thing with F1 and the Truck series...

@FrodothePuppet Actually, FOX had a one race deal in 1999 to televise an Indycar race from Dover[ final time Indycars ran at Dover.]
