Why do I feel like Gidey took herself down. Chebet really came first and I think Gidey couldn't handle that , cause if she was really hurt , she would have leaped to the end line when she was helped. But congrats Helen
Didnt you see her eyes when she fall, she lose conscious for a second or two.
There is something wrong with Gidey's health. I have seen her collapse or almost collapse in the last three competitions, including her first marathon. She has to take a break and undergo medical tests because it is not normal what is happening to her. She could have won this race hands down but there is something not going well. Hope the best for Gidey.
i think she is too conscious because she doesn't have a sprint finish so she tried to go earlier like she does on track but this course is too brutal for that. i think she's fine actually looks good. She just misread the course.

What a fantastic beast of a course, but there's no overlooking the elephant in the room. Was the participation really worthy of a world championships? Aside from the British and the Spanish, where were the Europeans? How can poor countries like Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda afford to send full teams and rich countries like Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Norway and many more besides, not?
Because (with the exception of Jakob Ingebrigtsen maybe) european countries know they have no chance of a top 10. Why spend so much money, get tired with jet lag and fly on the far side of the world to finish 15th in a one-day event?
Cos they can't withstand the heat

the worst championship) european countries such as germany holland sweden france czech republic denmark norway poland romania bulgaria they are not) we see only africans local australians british and states)
These countries decided to not send a team to this world championship for diferent reasons but I think the main reason is about their chances to get a medal ( almost 0 when you run against Uganda, Ethiopia and Kenya:))

In general Africans are good and successful in this type of sport
@@cipirun no I don’t think it’s just that australia is far from europe it’s on the other side of the world you can say) all the countries of europe decided not to fly so far and compete but who is strong in running yes I agree africa is strong in running a long distance but there are second third places for example norway stronger in running than australia) the germans are strong in cross country girls and so on
