I found only green when I filmed mine last week. I got all excited when I saw red 'beams radiating up amongst them - until I realised I was catching grass stalks illuminated with my red head torch! Doh! Oh please take a look at my two minute production (minus the grass!).
Don't put it off! Maybe consider going on a cruise with a few stopovers in Iceland At least that way you don't have to pay for flights, accomodation or the exhorbitant food costs there. Just check you can have a trip ('tour') to hunt for the Lights which may well be a coach trip starting at 8 and going on to about midnight. Check out my 2 min Aurora Borealis 2017.
why do all videos of this always have to be on fast forward? Put it up in normal speed damn it makes it much more beautiful and enjoyable, this is false advertising put it up like it is in real life instead

I know what you mean about the music. This music would be ideal for storm waves and tornados. I prefer mesmerising, gentle sounds for the Aurora. I used angelic music for mine that gives a relaxing atmosphere.
I thought this was going to be better than it actually is, but it's still beautiful...too bad the music sucks and is the epitome of a panic attack. What a waste.

This combination of music and speed of visuals is perfect. It's also nice how all of the waves are of a green tone and not others mixed in.
