Just bought this and the manual says the following (it's currently charging so I haven't tested these yet):
-Use the red button to change between gears. First gear equals more torque for going uphill, second gear is more speed for straightaways.
-To activate cruise control, press the throttle down for 10 seconds. To deactivate, press the throttle or apply the brake.

I just got one today from Walmart. The manual mentions switching gears low and high. I wonder if the newer versions just do it automatically because I can't tell. The manual doesn't really clarify how it's done?

I heard the newer ones released don't have a gear switch it's already let's you go top speed which is 15.5 mph

What i found, is its a bit disapointing for an adult, but as a kids scooter at 10 years old its insane. My daughter who is almost 10 hasnt been brave enough to get it up to speed yet and at just 70 pounds it crawls up mountains with her on it.

If you’re not going to be ripping it up hills then it’s fine for an adult and priced low. Just know it’ll slow down to about 5 mph or so on big inclines

Convinced me not to get it because I live in a hilly area. Thanks!

The bars might be a little low but not sure you’d notice it much.

      With a charger.
But really you use the charger to plug it into the wall.

    • @CarloBarrea

I have connected mine to a timer so as to not overcharge the battery. The kind that you can get to make a lamp turn off and on while you're away on vacation or something.
