Rick, thank you so much for doing this interview! I had the absolute privilege to sit on one of Terry's sessions as my first time being allowed in the room at a commercial studio, thank you Rob and Sean wherever you are. The studio was Water Music Recorders (Studio A) and the song was The Game by Das Pop (2010 maybe?). It's one of my most cherished memories in the studio. Witnessing at an early stage in my own career Terry's pure will and curiosity to make an amazing record by any means was truly inspiring. Highlights of that session included Gen 1 iPad as the amp simulator blown up through the Neve console, real tape flanging by applying resistance to the motors on a Studer 🤯, seeing vocal comping for the first time. This man is second to none, highly underrated legend.
This is amazing to hear and it’s wonderful you got experience that! Truly inspiring story as well! I’d love to blow up an iPad through a console hahaha. He’s a legend man
Such an AMAZING interview. Terry probably literally has the most interesting history in all of the audio world! This interview flew by, it was so interesting!
@@makebelievestudio can I please have permission to photoshop terry onto a Dos Equis ad 😄 honestly it would be more fitting. Such an epic story (and still continuing too!!)
