Are there no wave's? Is that why it is called the Dead Sea? Absolutely wonderful. It's always been my desire to visit God's country, no other place like it. Even in the towns, it seems peaceful and safe, not like in some countries.

I visited Israel in early 70s. Went into the Dead Sea, but then it seemed like it was just a lake out in the middle of no place. No development back then. But it was a wonderful experience to go floating in the water. Could stay there just a short time, absolutely no shade anywhere. :-) Had to go get on my kibbutz bus to cool down. And The water where I floated was kind of gray, not bright blue green like in this video.
