Nice work, thanks for sharing
Glad you found space for that many orchids, I like the wall hanging area.
I am in awe again as I watch this to see the sheer number of orchids you have, and that each and every one is so healthy and loved in every detail! Certainly gets me in gear to be attentive to my orchids. Love your displays.
Oh Patti, you are too generous with the compliments! I wish it were only true, I have quitea few orchids in terrible shape. I think I moved the camera around too quickly for you to catch the details! Honestly 😂
Too bad we cannot keep them out all year round. You have organized everyone real well, still lots of space 👍
Boy wouldn’t that be a luxury, to grow outdoors year round! Paradise!
Thanks for watching.
Wow great setup! And I bet you will get lots of blooms in the sun room this winter! Glad everyone fits....hahaha.
Don’t know what I would do without the sun room!
Loving your greenhouse, beautiful plants
Thank you! I was so surprised that it’s so easy to make too. Just one 4x16 ft cattle panel bent to arch shape. I just need to get heavy duty clear plastic. Right now I am using blue tarp temporarily. We don’t get too many cold days in a row so I plan to open and close few days at a time. Thanks for stopping by.
@@MamasOrchids great ideas 💐
As I've mentioned before... I LIKE your use of the corrugated Steel panels. Perhaps you should consider using this to line your Sun Porch to bounce light around. Could even cover the ceiling.
Thanks! May consider that on the side where plywood is. I am thinking of putting up a cattle panel grid in the ceiling area so that I can hang baskets anywhere above. I keep making my husband get more cattle panels and we thought it’d be the last one three trips ago!
❤
Cold coming to Mobile too. Much too cold for Gulf Coast!
Mobile can get cold! Hope your orchids are nice and warm inside. Thanks for watching!
Great job ! The look happy 👏
I’m happy too. I living room feels lush and green when I look out from the sliding doors. Like I am in a tropical greenhouse.
sadly to say I have to bring all of mine in doors for winter also. It looks like a nice setup you have for them , my poor plants are crammed in a bedroom and in a back room, I lose where some of them are and it wears me out running up and down the stairs, but I always hope one day I will have a designated place for them! great video
“I lose where some of them are” I love that! I am the same way but too ashame to admit it. 🤣
@@MamasOrchids 😂
Great job finding spaces for them all! But how are you going to water all those orchids?-I don’t see water catchment trays under the racks to protect your nice floors. You’re not going to carry each one to a watering area are you? (Seems like that would be constant work 😮)
Great question! The ones in the sunroom will get watered directly in there. The orchids in the guest bedroom is right by the window. I can bring them right outside via the window to water. I strategically left them right by the window and that window opens real easily and mosquito screen is off so nothing in the way to bring orchids in and out by the window. The vandas are real close to the back door so they will go right into the outdoor shower for watering during warm day time. Thanks for pointing this out, forgot to mention all this… 😂
The clothes rack looks much sturdier than most for moving. Will you share the brand please.
@@marylalone7104 I got the clothes rack that the vandas are on right now from the curb, someone threw it out. It’s really nice and collapses compactly to stow away. The other one is from a yard sale. I don’t see any name label. I will check better next time I am moving the orchids around.
Thank you. Gave me some ideas @@MamasOrchids
Great organization. The cold came early this year. We are in the high 40’s to mid 50’s until Thanksgiving Eve. I covered my vandas and brought in my novelty phals. Also. I put doubled frost covers around the shade areas. I won’t water anything outside until next week.
