Got curious and I'm amazed at the number of different charities that have shops within 20 miles of KA3. I'm near Eastbourne and Brighton which are supposed to have the highest populations of charity shops but as many of them are Oxfam or British Heart Foundation, both of which charge between £1.50 - £3 per book, there's no much room to manoeuvre. Time to leave the bread and butter and specialise.

I'd like to know how the big companies can send a book plus the cost of a book for cheaper than just the cost of sending a book via royal mail and still make a profit 🤔

Well, first off they have managed to be able to get in with places like charity shops, recycling centres etc to get books for free, then they get big postal discounts, they sell books so not vat and then because they have volume they are happy to take low profit per book as it all adds up.

I stopped selling David Eddings after I discovered he and his wife were jailed for Child Cruelty, his fans hate it when I post on Fantasy FB pages.
