ASMR - Mandala Vinyl "Weeding" - Ep 2

Here's our second video aimed towards those experiencing Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR). For those who don't know, individuals who experience ASMR describe physical sensations in response to sounds. This has been described as a euphoric and relaxing sensation, and RUclips is replete with people contributing videos to the ASMR community.

Since Tam has been doing various vinyl things for a while, we realized that the audio from when she "weeds" these might be something the ASMR community would enjoy to have as "background." So, we've begun recording her doing her thing with a binaural microphone to provide stereo sound of the vinyl being removed from the backing. If you're not familiar with ASMR, this likely sounds strange, but we actually have one or two in our own household who find these kind of soft noises amplified to be relaxing, as well.
Our set up is not 100% ideal, but we're making improvements. I have added compression so that there should be no surprising "BANG!" if you're listening at high volumes. There is some background low-frequency noise, but I've also already invested in super-quiet fans for our computer we just need to install.
