I love them! They really do balance one another well. Be open to the universe and what it has for YOU. Whatever is for you will find you, and sometimes that person may be of another race and outside of the idea you have for yourself. You will never have to change who you are to be with another person.

I think interracial marriages are wonderful. It’s also wonderful for people who choose to marry within their race for a larger goal for black people collectively. I understood both perspectives.

If you can have a preference FOR, why can't you have a preference against? I don't think it's a matter of a closed mind. If a woman decides she won't be with a fat man she most likely won't find herself "just happening" to fall in love with him because she's not going to allow opportunities for anything to "just happen." This was cool. Perhaps at some point we'll be honest enough to explore the typical phenotype of the Black women in interracial relationships and how that fits - or not - into what Black men typically "prefer."
