This was so fun to watch. I pledged my sorority a long time ago at a different PAC-12 school, but this brings back a lot of memories. All of rush at my school was in person, and I so agree that after visiting all the chapters in 2 days, (we had 19 at the time) it was all a blur. Everyone was nice, polite and welcoming. Of course, I got cut from some, and I cut others. Just how it works, but I was blessed to have my favorite one from the first on my list every time and that is where I ended up. Honestly, I knew from the first round of cuts where I wanted to be and it felt a bit performative to have to go to all the other rounds, but of course I did. Because everyone was so nice in each house, it was a little hard to differentiate, so I made cuts based on that actual building, LOL! In those days, everyone at my school lived in the house from the time they pledged onward, and I wanted a beautiful home to live in, 💜❤! My mom was an interior designer and I think that influenced my decision a lot.
I filmed my rush experience too and randomly came across this but I'm laughing because I'm the girl in the red dress in the scene at the inverted fountain.
I rushed as a Senior at UCLA many years ago. Like you I was a transfer student and my junior was all about getting acclimated to the school. Back then seniors were cut from most houses as it was easy to make quota. I was lucky to get a bid from KD!
@@YvieStoffels how it works, what they do, big little baskets, reveal etc Maybe what you can do with your little/big in and around UCLA Additionally I would love to see the sorority houses maybe even how housing is there.
Thanks for the feedback! I have a bunch of different videos planned to upload first, but I'll definitely jot it down in my "video ideas" journal! I'll see about making that happen/implementing it into one of those planned videos:)
Thanks so much for watching, so glad u liked it!! I transferred to UCLA (as a junior) in the middle of covid and chose to avoid social gatherings outside of my own bubble. Once things started to open up again I wanted to hit the ground running and get the most out of my UCLA experience in my last year (meeting more people, attending more events, being more involved on campus, etc). Had I attended a 4-yr university directly out of high school I totally would have rushed as a freshman!
Did you go to Community College for your first two years? Many students who receive their Associate's go on to get their Bachelor's. Were you in this category?

Unfortunately it’s true that a lot of seniors get cut… I think everyone was given a better chance though because of covid
Is big little a thing at UCLA
Yep!
@@YvieStoffels thanks! Would love to see a video on it

@@arthurgearheard4701 Yep!
How are you
I'm doing good
Do you get a little?
I did! She's great! She was part of the COB group in the Winter-- so glad I got to basically get the full sorority experience even as a senior
