Nice vid, but you take a lot from theory, I sold Hakuryo, bcs anything on t10+ spots me I am dead before I can do anything, in the past it was awesome, but nowadays playing it is just something for masochists
I explained Nakhimov at the end. For me its definitely into the honorable mentions, but there are alot more problems that started to show up on the armor side of the nakhimov which I don't like as well, which I slightly have explained at the end of this video.
Well, i`m a BB and CV main, now learning to play DD`s the right way. In a BB or DD, i never had or have any problem with CV`s. They are weak except there`s an unicum player in it. Unicum players are OP in all classes they play. The average player today with his 45 - 48 % winrate is not that dangerous, even in a Shinano. CV`s are always compared with BB`s, but the BB can deal the damage a CV does in a few strikes over 5 - 10 minutes in 1 or 2 salvos. Wargaming brought much ships with strong AA the last years, so the life of an average CV player got much harder. Hakuryu is the biggest victim of this powercreep, her planes are too weak today to deal with this new ships. Playing a DD against a CV feels so much OP, i have that crazy concealment with AA switched off so they often fly close to me and can`t spot me. I learned to play way better in the japanese torp DD`s up to tier 7 now, this year i`ll slowly make my way to tier 10 Shimakaze again with all the things i learned the last months. I can`t understand the "CV OP" crybabies. Even Shinano can`t scare me because i know how CV`s work and how weak most CV players are in random battles. When there`s a really good CV player in the opponent team, i just respect his skill when he manages to sink me. This happened very rarely and most times only when i ate a huge amount of damage before his attack, and most times i was able to cock a snook to him a few times so he wasted some of his time and planes, buying my team some time. Playing a BB or DD i never had the feeling that a CV was OP or broken. Ok, broken weak maybe, like Implacable and Audacious. Malta is what Audacious should have been. But even with a strong CV, most players can`t release half of the potential of them. I call myself a slightly above average player with my 55 % winrate, but i learned some tricks from a super unicum CV player named El2aZeR. He`s not active anymore, but he (or she?) managed to get an amazing 80 % winrate with CV`s with a 3000+ PR. His overall winrate was 73 %. Learning to play CV`s better with his help, i learned much about the weak points they have and how to counter them. Playing in a division is one of the best counters, even when we have ships with weak or moderate AA. It`s the best way to scare away the average CV player when you sail close enough together so he eats AA from all 3 ships and others around. You complained about the smoke Essex and Shinano have, but i say that`s a great tool to protect allied ships. With my Yorktown, i managed to protect the Mogami in my division for a long time so he could get a good damage while my fighters or the DD in our division did some spotting. Our Mogami survived a long time with the 4 smoke screens i could provide for him. Our Bungo needed to turn, so with Essex i provided a smoke screen, he stopped shooting before, so he could turn away for repairs without taking a broadside. Doing such things is so cool and awesome, and i`m upset that Independence at tier 6 didn`t got this tool. This alternative techtree is called support carriers, but Independence can`t take this role. Shame on you, Wargaming, you failed! Many players cry "CV OP". My answer is: "learn to play and get some skill".
You have no fucking idea what you are talking about. Even a 40% CV player can perma spot you and make your life hell while dealing 0 dmg to your team- as someone who is close to 65% WR, unicum PR and has 16k battles I straight up can tell you that everything above you wrote is complete schizo talk. The fact that you name El2aZeR who was overrated as hell and not the ASIAN CV guy from REPOI just explains so much...55% WR player who still thinks like someone who is in the below 50% bracket. Count me shocked.
In the current META full of DDs the best CV is Essex followed by Malta.
That's all
i have 10k steel right now and i am definetely getting shinano , essex is stll my favourite
FDR>Shinano
what build do you recomend on the FDR ?
@@magnuslindal4044 tommorrow fdr video is coming with build so stay tuned.
I wanted FDR, i just got enough steel from xmas pass, but im concerned about upcoming cv changes
The big weakness with FDR is it's fighter patrols can't defend themselves against enemy fighter patrols. They get slaughtered every time!
This man is doing Quality and Quantety how does he do it ? Good Vid my Guy😊 (agree from a CC Main)
Do more T8 rankings its more fun than T10
Should I get the FDR or Shinano for my first Steel CV?
Shinano. FDR is hopeless these days. You'll lose half your planes to enemy fighters.
@@Conker1337 Shinano first. FDR is for very experienced players.
@@uravgwargamer3300 Ok will get the Shinano, then the Shikishima. To have all Yamato class ships :D
The real Shinano uses Yamato's hull
No Nakhimov? I would argue that Nakhimov should be on here. Where? I'm not sure, but either 5 or 4.
I explained nakhimov at the end.
I got the shinano for fun cause i wanted smth else (I never play CV) and I'm mid 😂😂
But i will get better
