    Hours of watching Solar, Inverter Charger, and Converter video's, you answered almost all of my questions. Awesome job! At least now I have a better understanding of what I may need in my new system and finding someone to help with the "Above My Pay Grade" items. I'll defiantly be passing on your channel to other's thanks.

      Wow thank you so much for the kind words! I’m glad it helped you out. I tried to answer a lot of the questions that I had when doing the installation.

    Not sure what your real job is, but you should consider public speaking. I have watched so many videos and done a ton of research about how to set up a solar system but I didn't get "it" until I watched your video. This was a clear and thorough explanation of what a solar system and electrical system entails. As you went over each component, I had an "Ah HA!" moment. Great Job!
    (I couldn't find the "Cost" video on your page maybe it hasn't come out yet but I subscribed so I am looking forward to it!)

      Thank you so much for the kind words! I was totally with you a few months ago looking for answers and couldn’t really find them in one place. That’s why this video was made. Glad it was able to help you out! As far as the “cost” video goes, it isn’t out yet. I am hoping to have it out in the near future, so stay tuned!

    Solar is great. It’s where RVing is going now and in the future. You can spend so much time off grid with this type of solar package. Thanks so much for sharing. You are contributing the education of the Rv community.

    Great follow up to your Multi Plus II video a few weeks ago! This was a clear, concise, and comprehensive overview of your set up; I think I “get it” now.
    My biggest “ah ha” moment came when you explained that the DC power flowed both into and out of the bus bar by design. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard anyone explicitly describe this. That cleared up so many questions for me, I can’t thank you enough!
    Keep the great content coming brother, you’ve got a new subscriber!

      Wow! I really appreciate the kind words! The reason I explained it that way is because once that portion clicked in my head, it all seemed to make sense after that. Are you doing a solar set up of your own?

      @@TodayWeGo I am installing 3 Battle Born 100AH batteries and a Multi Plus II right now, with the ability to expand to solar in the future. Trying to do my “research” now, watching you, “All About RVs” and “Explorist.Life”. Hoping to glean specs for all the components I need for my particular situation.

    Thank you for making great informative videos. I’m getting ready to install the same system in my Jayco Eagle 355 mbqs. My current converter from the factory is built in to the distribution panel. How did you disable yours so it’s not trying to charge the batteries along with multi plus II? Flip the breaker off for the converter or did you disconnect the wires running off the converter to the fuse panel. Thank you for your time and looking forward to more of your how to’s.

    Great SIMPLE discussion! My question that i can't get answered is why so many large system have 2 multipluses? Are they splitting L1 and L2 between the two multipluses? L1 on one and L2 on the other for high wattage 120 volt uses. Thank you in advance for an answer to this situation.

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  Год назад

      Yes, exactly, they are splitting l1 and l2. It’s probably the ideal way to do it, but the multiplus 2 is simpler

    Good Morning. I’m going to install 2 new 200W solar panels. The question is Parallel or Series. I have heard the Series is not as good because of shading you lose some of your power. Yes the Amps are around 10Amps with 40 Volts and Parallel the Amps are higher at about 20A and the Volts are lower at 20V . All so I read some ware the solar panels need to have a voltage around 20 to 30 volts above the battery voltage Do you have any thoughts on this. Thank you Jack

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  2 года назад +1

      I would probably wire them in parallel personally. 20 amps is not a lot coming down from the roof. This way you’re probably going to be more efficient in the event that one of your panels has shading.

    Good Morning. Do I need the Victron Energy MultiPlus 3000VA 12-Volt Pure Sine Wave Inverter 120 amp Battery Charger, to run the sys. But I do want the Victron Energy GX Touch 50, Panels and System Monitoring in my sys. Plus I will have two Battle Born batteries 100amp hr each and will two 100watt panels handle the sys. Jack

    • @TodayWeGo
      @TodayWeGo  3 года назад

      It really depends what you want your system to do. The GX touch 50 is just a display that shows you the information from the cerbo GX.

    You did a great job...but wouldn't a bluetti ac500/b300s and some panels be easier? Your system seems to be a lot of moving parts,for an idiot like me. Haha

      @TodayWeGo  9 месяцев назад +1

      It would be easier for weekend camping, but a permanent install is easier in the long run.
