This review is so unfair. The man runs the shop sells some of the best food in taree.
You were just hangry and tarnished somebody's good reputation . Very misleading review
Who said life was fair?? I did not tarnish anything, I simply reported the facts. Please point out the part that is misleading? Did I miss something? Were they actually open but I reported something different? If anything the owner tarnished his reputation by not being there when the shop is supposed to be open for business. Not hard to put a note on the widow letting customers know they will be closed, but they clearly do not care about their business or their customers enough to give them that common courtesy. I tried buying food off him with my hard earned money, but he did not give me to anyone else the opportunity to do so. So I guess I will never know how good the food is, as there are plenty of other businesses that care about their customers and that is where my money will be going.

I have a Kebab shop around the corner from me, it advertises all the hours, but it is hit and miss to find it open. I often wonder how they manage to stay open as I do not see them doing a big trade when ever I go past them, it is like a ghost town in the shop.
Lots of shops doing it tough, and lots closing down. With the current inflation many people can’t afford to eat take away food which is also getting more expensive by the day. But the more reason to be open the hours you say you are going to be open. Stuff happens, when it does at least stick a sign on the door informing people what’s going on.
We went past last night 7pm and yes it was still closed .
Interesting, I wanted to try it as the reviews were pretty reasonable, you would think they put up a sign if they were closed for a while, I don’t get to Taree too often, I will keep an eye on it as lots of shops are closing down everywhere.

@@Kirri834 🤣Did you watch the video? Did it look like someone just stepped out for 5 minutes? Was there Kebeb meat on the rotisserie? Salads in the display? And if you had paid attention you would have seen that I actually waited around for over 15 minutes. Someone else drove past and said it was closed later in the day. So there goes your 5 minute theory. 🤣
@@Kirri834 well, after your comment I went back today to give them a chance, went there at 12:00 noon on a Monday for lunch and it was closed, drove past an hour later still closed, back in 5 minutes sign was still there, that’s a bloody long 5 minutes. So I guess my assumption was correct, they do not care one bit about their customers. Definitely won’t be giving them a third chance.
