Thanks Ivan Van Norman. I really enjoyed your video. Keep up the good stuff. Roll nice and play nice. Good bless you. Love and light. Fénix Stardust. ❤🎉😊
Faction ability can be triggered ANY TIME on your turn! Ivan completely missed the point of Varric, the necromancer, you ''tap'' him to take back a champion from your discard to then draw it if you have another red card on play wich can be huge in setting up combo.
Really good overview. I love this game. Small criticism - I think the order of explaining guards was a little off. You should have explained the difference between actions/items and champions first. Also there was no explanation of the health icon or sacrifice abilites, but the way you explained everything was really easy to understand.
Star Realms is in the running for my favorite game of all time and Hero Realms may top it. Such a great game, especially when you add the character packs (I have a detailed video on the cards in each character pack if anyone is interested).
can someone explain how speed is used in outbreak: undead? and when it's time to use hazard or risk to bring about a special zombie? it's the only things I have issues with as a gm
You know what Ivan, I've a chance to think this over. And I'm not sure that is your real voice. Like when you go the bar or on a fishing trip, is that how you speak to your friends? Cause if not, what's the deal dude? I'm not judging or anything. I'm just a friend concerned. Please let me know so I can rest easy in my belief that this is, in fact, you real voice.
Love this game. I find it to be more balanced than Star Realms. It's easier to make a come back if you fall behind, the hits are harder, combos are cooler. The pace of the game seems better as well l.
I 100% agree about pacing. I feel like in some games of Star Realms you feel like the game is slipping away from your control and it just kind of slowly progresses towards the inevitable. It's not very frequent in SR but I don't find that happens with Hero Realms.
Compared to the "How to play" videos done with Becca Scott, this video has very frequent camera cuts on multiple different angles instead of focusing on the cards from an angle we can follow the entire time of explanation. For example, why does it keep cutting into a close-up of the right side of his face and then zoom out so far away to a wide-angle view? Both these angles don't help focus on the title/purpose of the video. @UdonBullets is right, the order of explanation was a little off.
Quick question, the rules were really confusing about this, do all four guilds make up the market deck? Let's say you're playing with the class decks and you have a personalised 10 card personal deck because of it, do all four guilds get shuffled into the market?
The market deck includes all of the four guild faction cards. The class decks are what you begin with as your personal deck, and do not get shuffled into the main market deck. When you buy cards from the market, they are added to your personal deck.
I dont get the thing about turning champion over... They always attack one time so why turn them ? Just attack once and that it.. why is there a symbol for it ? It confuse the hell out of me !
Because some cards can re-activate/re-fresh champions within a single turn so that you could actually use it a second time. It also just helps visually distinguish that the champion has been used.
Malcolm Campbell seems like they're throwing things against the wall to see what sticks, when they full well know we want Tabletop and Day9 to do something else
Thanks Ivan, you are good at this. Get this dude to do more of these.

Also great insights. Thanks dude for your energy and enthusiasm. God bless you. Love and light, Fénix Stardust ❤🎉😊

White Wizard Games makes some of the best games out there.

I love the way this guy talks. I could listen to it for hours
He's an inspiration. ❤🎉😊

Way better life management in this one than Star Realms. Did they ever adopt/release a similar style card for SR?
Yes. You can get them in the Frontiers version.

This video gives you a better understanding of How to Play.
The gameplay reminds me of the DC card game and Legendary
thanks! cool video!
I enjoy Star Realms and Epic, and this looks like a pleasing combination of the two.

So it's exactly like star realms but with the fantasy element instead of space stuff......
hmm
Mmmmm 😊
Too common with MTG as a setting a mechanics of flippin, star realms are more apropriate
Where are new episodes of co-optitude?
so its star realms
I think it's called Hero Realms.
Tapping is a trademarked term by wizards of the coast. In no way is turning your card sideways related to "tapping".
But everyone knows what it means when you say it
nice first
Unashamed to admit I only watched this video because he's really cute and his facial hair is A+
Me too. I came for the good locks and shiny locks. I stayed for the content. He's a word wizard. ❤🎉😊
This is literally Star Realms with new art.
Though the rules are the same, the cards have different abilities and balance. There is also a multiplayer campaign coming soon.
*Popcorn munching*
Sorry guys but WatchItPlayed beat you to the punch again...
I mean, these how-to videos get almost no views anyway. It's either a labor of love or they'll be discontinued.
Malcolm Campbell seems like they're throwing things against the wall to see what sticks, when they full well know we want Tabletop and Day9 to do something else
I mean, after the paywall fiasco, I just decided to not watch Tabletop anymore. I don't miss it.
These guys overact - making it harder to follow.
That's a good take as well. Maybe he can lighten up. I like it anyway. Thanks for your time. ❤🎉😊
