Elvis makes me cry because he’s so emotive. He reaches into your soul, grabs onto it and doesn’t let go until you feel his emotions. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Paul Simon later noted that Presley's rendition of his song was a “touch on the dramatic side.” “But so was the song,” he added. “When I first heard Elvis perform 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' it was unbelievable. I thought to myself, 'How the hell can I compete with that?”
Simon and Garfunkle done a great job both writing and performing this song. What separates them and Elvis is that when Elvis sings it you can feel the emotion, man there are not many performers that can do that these days. There are great singers yes, but not many can sing with that kind of power and emotion.
He never wrote a song but could sing them like no one else. Great reaction, his voice was beautiful and he was a very kind giving man. His kindness shone from inside and I truly believe that's the reason his face was so beautiful. He was lit from within.
To me I prefer Elvis singing this song any song he did he made it his own loved it loved your reaction hope your fine taking care of yourself and your babies 😍👍👍
He makes it his own. One thing to write a song and another to interpret it and the way he arranged it. The most versatile and talented entertainer who ever graced the earth. He loved God and people very much. He never forgot being raised in extreme poverty or forgot those that are still there. You are so right about your anology of him. God bless you, love you.

He said he loved singing Gospel songs more than rock n roll. He read the Bible everyday. He never forgot his roots living in a 2 room house no electricity. running water or plumbing He made over a billion dollars n at time of his death had only 10 million. He gave a lot of money to people in need as he had lived. There will never be another Elvis. He loved everyone I listened to him since 1956 n will till I die . I love your channel.
Thanks for your beautyful and touching reaction ♡ I am in a difficult time in my life and i love, love this song by Elvis. He had a special and ( in my eyes ) mystical kind to bring a song like this to you, directly in your heart and soul. Everytime he sings about the tears he will dry, i get some in my eyes. They are still there 😥 Again, thanks a lot. Hope you are well and all the best for you and the two very special guests 🤰🌻
Thank you😊 Oh am so sorry to hear that but like i said in the video know that this is not forever its only temporary, things will get better for you just hang in there and be strong🙂 we are doing good thank you👶🏾👶🏾😊💜
I loved your reaction to Elvis singing. You might have heard that Elvis grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi very poor 2 room house with no electricity,no running water, no plumbing n not much food. He read the Bible everyday n sang in choir at a black church because he lived Ved singing Gospel songs. Elvis never forgot his roots. His income was around a billion dollars but gave most away to charitys n people that needed help. He said that money doesn't buy you happiness. He was a very lonely man most of his life
@@bobbyecrockett9032 hey his name was down as the co- author of other songs too like love me tender etc. But Elvis never wrote a song solely on his own, does not take anything away from him. He could take a song from a demo he was listening to and re arrange the song so it was different. Not bad for a man who could not read music, and actually failed music at school
Elvis's best singing was definitely in the 50s and early 60s and from 68 to 70 along with his physical condition he tried to sing this in 1972 but his best version is 1970 the operetic melodias but soulful voice makes this a messterpiece it's a shame what happened to Elvis in the end but in his prime he was greater than anyone thank you great video definitely a masterful performance
You were saying that he, Elvis, brings a whole new meaning to the songs he sings. Then you were searching for the right word 8:14,15. I think you were going for 'dimension.' He brings out an entirely different dimension. You were so right that though he didn't write the lyrics or compose the music, his interpretation more than makes up for that. The songs become his own. Elvis is the song. He is Mr. Song Man. That's a request by the way.
