So far nothing replaces FOV and comfort of Goggles V2. DJI needs to completey revamp all the newer goggles. Give me V2 with upgraded screens and Goggles 2 range.
agreed! I don't know why I'm using g2 over v2 now. v2 so much better, I think I just don't want to feel like I wasted money 🤣

Yep. V2’s with 1080p 120hz oled screens would be a game changer.
Hold out for Qrqa. They showed some random hunks of aluminum in a glass case almost two years ago. Sure it's gonna be out any minute lol

I’m planning to get the apple vision goggles and using that with my O3 system.
Get walksnails when they come out with their extended range you can switch the board out.
I bought dji to try it, will probably get better goggles for my walksnail vrx. Don’t think dji will be an option for most of us here soon

The Current Gen Goggles 2 and Integra are already heavily discounted, from DJI's store.
O3 is still the same price. So I'm kinda wondering if there will be an O4 air unit or just new goggles.

Chinese new year is over. Just a few more weeks and a new dji fpv drone will come for sure with the new O4 system and goggles. The goggles 2 selling on special offer is a hint for it to happen soon

Dji Air 3 units are shipped with O4 transmission. But I couldn't find the O4 unit separately for purchase. The RC2 controller it ships with supports O4 but not the O3 transmission.
Same question for me. O3 is good enough for me and for sure the new one will be 200$ more expensive than the actual google 2 price. On the other end many used google 2 will be for sale when the new release will come. So I can't still decide.
Now with the Walksnail Moonlight, I don't see reason to go with DJI. No one is going to use the on-board footage anyway, so why bother?
DJI doesn't care about us, so why should we care about them?
Because DJI still has better performance & signal I have both Walksnail & DJI & everytime I go fly I bring both goggles with me & it’s quite noticeable
My perspective; stopped flying in about 2018/2019 because my hand stopped working from a car accident. Just statting to fly again now. All analog but want to get at least my daily drivers digital.
For me it's about longevity., If I buy goggles 2 today and DJI releases googles 3 or whatever tommorrow then I feel like I have 18 months where I'll be able to get air units thqt are compatable with my goggles.
If I wait for the goggles 3 I feel like I;ve got 36 months.
Im assuming 18 month product cycles obviosuly.
The telling thing for me will be with the release of the next air unit will be if DJI stop selling Vista to Runcam/Caddx when the "O4" ait unit comes out.
I really hate this digital FPV era. I want the clear video, range and penetration, but I don't want to be beholden to a vendor that makes me buy a new VTX family and google every 18-36 months. And I want to be able to watch pother people fly with my goggles.
I'm feeling like Walksnail may be the best solution s it has an upgrade path and they seem more in touch with the FPV mindset, but I keep hearing their VTXs are less durable - I'm a shit pilot, I can expect my VTX to be on the ground while I find my crashed wreck of a quad for 10 minutes or more.
Real Pit mode could help - if the battery were connected.
I'm really conflicted now between the big discount on the goglges2/Integra and the next gen and the Wlaksnail.
And my Rapidfire module is faloing apart. And a new Rapdifire is about half the price of a a set of Integras at the moment.
I might give up FPV again due to the mential injuries I'm getting.

I am very happy with the O3 don’t even feel that I would upgrade.
Dji still selling the goggles V2 with the dji FPV combo..
And I believe dji will still selling the dji O3 for the next 2-3 years.

Good lord prices have skyrocketed. I haven't flown much in the last year, so haven't broken or bought much, but the Vistas are the price of the O3 air units when I bought my O3 unit and the O3 units are over $300. Some are over $400.
DJI, PLEASE FIX AUDIENCE MODE!!! I want to be able to take passengers along with me. I just confirmed it's still not fixed on firmware 01.05.00.00. I purchased a second set of integra goggles and in audience mode, it starts to get really choppy at only 200 feet away clear line of sight making it truly undesirable for passengers to fly along with me.
Always wait for dji. There will always be nee and better next year and not backward compatible or bad compatibility. Like rebinding constantly or something.
Dji releases something new a few months later everytime time i buy their current gen product 😂
Bought the goggles 2 a year ago and I like them, but playing DJI's game anymore. They love to release new products that are not backwards compatible just to suck as much money as they can out of everyone. 03 air unit is good enough for me. The only reason I might consider an 04 air unit is if the weight was dropped considerably to fit in a tiny whoop.
I'm going with Walksnail next. They have an ultra light vtx for whoops.

O4 is coming. You need to look at the Osmo. They just released the 1inch sensor for the Osmo Pocket 3, this same camera unit will most likely be the upgraded version "DJI 04" this is my best guess. But when this will happen who knows lol.
Also if o4 comes o3 units will be cheaper which is very good unit.
Still use V1 from 2019, did't want to replace until it break 😂😂
I cannot resist how dji googles 2 have a good design, range, and beautiful live feed with O3, but..... something always missing inside the DJI, they never do a complete inav osd instrument...
The best evidence that something is coming to replace the FPV system is the reduction in cost of the current system.
Dji will probably come up with the Avata 2 or another fpv drone along with the goggles 3, and get even more newbies to join fpv...

If there are new goggles, they will have 2.7k or 4k OLED, and the camera won't fit any frames sold; currently.

I have v2 on hand. I waited, thinking about buying glasses version 3, but today I definitely won’t do that. I'd rather buy new walksnails after they release glasses with the next version of the receiver. dji I will use the ones I have with glasses v2. but I won't buy them again.
Unless DJI release an O3 update to support INav I won't be buying any future DJI FPV gear. OSD looks horrible. Enjoying Walksnail far more
If I was starting FPV I’d go for goggles 2 or the old v2s if you on a budget

Joshua can you do a new year of update of the best Goggles out and best bang for the buck especially when it comes to vtx and camera it self? I'm a noob how ever been in rc since 1980's. But not fpv. I ended up getting a Fat Shark Scout. but want to get a digital goggles in few week or months. But anyway's either way if you able have the chance to type what is the best goggles which feature or compatible with digital system that is lower (vtx, camera) Ty

I bought the v2s and have a small face and the light leak was terrible . I’ll stick with analog for a lil bit longer.
@@nickbax9571aftermarket foam exists and is a much needed improvement. I had the same issue as you but the foam fixed it

Hmmm. I just got the Goggles 2 and I have to say that although they are beautiful after you upgrade the foam. My Goggles V2 literally destroys them on range tests.

Is this true. I was planning on getting the goggles2 or integra since theyre on sale from dji for $349. But if the range is worse than the v2 that i have now, then whats the point. Ive heard it both ways. Some say range is worse and some say its better. Some say range is worse but penetration is better. Is there a test video on this?
@@eme4289 from my experience, if you use the Googles 2 with the 03 air unit, you will get great range as that is what is designed for. But if you are using this with hopes to increase range with your caddx vista, in my experience, it doesn’t matter if I use the MCX adapter (which I have) and use my best LHCP antennas, I did not get Half the range compared to my goggles V2 where you can use FOUR LHCP antennas instead of only 2.
I’ve done verified Long Range flights on my channel from 2-6 miles with the V2’s using only LHCP antennas on the Vistas. I’m not getting near that range with the vistas and LHCP antennas on the goggles 2.
It just makes sense as you are restricted to only being able to use two LCHP antennas on the Goggles 2.
Long story short. Your V2 will definitely get more range

Was hyped for the O3, built my sub 250 cinematic drones with it... and realized it had so many issues, that my recreational quads all got analog instead, lol.
Despite all the issues, they have given me amazing footage tho.
Goggles 2 is compatible with the DJI Mini 4, which uses 04. But we all know DJI can be dicks.

We need a new Avata, the Avata now is banned to A3 in the Netherlands (01-01-2024) because of new laws.
Maybe they give it a C1 certification with firmware update. Be patient. Any self built quad over 250g is A3 anyway. Not difficult to fly A3 in the green outside.
Why ? Avata is 410 gram and can stay in C-1 class so it means can fly in A1/A3

W A I T ! ! ! Why has NO ONE EVER done a COMPLETE review of Goggles Integra? Look it up. It's ALWAYS a comparison of G2 vs Integra or Goggles V2 vs. Integra. WHAT I NEED TO KNOW is Why is it if I'm shooting in DLOG starting from DJI RC and then lift off startup Goggles Integra and have to hit Record AGAIN but then I'm shooting in STANDARD color and NOT DLOG ONLY because I switched from DJI RC to Goggles Integra? I know most of you are just FPV people but for Christs sake, I paid $500 for Integra! I don't want to use the stupid little hand held thing to fly the drone, I want to use my thumbs on DJI RC!!! On the OLD WHITE BRICK goggles, I could put those on a friend BUT STILL BE ABLE to see through my phone where I was flying! This many years later and I have to CHOOSE either see thru the goggles OR see thru the RC........W T F !
When O3 came out I was happy I would buy cheap used vistas. That never happened. 😂
What I don't get is they come out with a black controller and it only works with a few things. Completely stupid. What he really should have said is stop getting DJI they choose to leave bugs and problems full well knowing they are easy to fix. Walksnail will pull ahead
Ya. Their stupid half baked firmware updates can never get anything right. They can easily fix all the bugs and give people what they want with one good firmware update. They didnt put canvas mode for the v2’s, cant use the fpv controller 2 with the v2’s, cant use goggles2 with fpv drone, goggles dont hold their bind with air units. What a fiasco. Just because they have an amazing product, they can do what they want. I bet the goggles3/o4 wont work with the og air units/vistas. Hopefully in future someone cracks their walled garden and gets these options available to us. By then dji wont care either because they will be worried about their latest and greatest.
@@eme4289 I tell you another one that bites my ass you have all these wiring diagrams showing that your suppose to be able to run power straight from the flight controller. So when you get into running high Amp esc boards it burns the units up. Especially when you are trying to run high kv motors and it only happens when you're punching it hard. Then by the time it happens you slam into the ground and your drone is totalled. You go from a fast racing drone to junk in a few seconds because dji can't handle voltage spikes. I will tell you what can though walksnail.
Mads is 100% sure that O4 and the new set of goggles is right around the corner and claims he is in contact with someone who has concrete information. When commenting on one of Mads' videos about it his reply was more than a little adamant that the info he has is solid; in fact I would characterize his response to my comment questioning the validity of the rumor as maybe even a little bit upset that I questioned his source.
