Loved your last 2 hardcore series. It feels so real, unlike 99% of other hardcore series.
- You dont use replay mod, or hyper edit.
- Get diamonds within the first few minutes.
- You don't kill the dragon within the first 10 minutes
- You dont build a mega MEGA base in the first episode (Even tho this build is quite big)
Your style of editing actually brings us with you, and we get connected to your worlds.
honestly none of those factors really affect the hardcore letsplay experience, but i agree Dallas' lowkey editing and recording is definitely a breath of fresh air
@@th1ng1296it’s all a little too much to take in imo. I like the way Dallas progresses and approaches his series. It gives the viewer this sort of involvement in the shenanigans he’s doing.
I usually dont post comments but i wanna say that im going out of my way to let you know that i love your channel and i want you to keep uploading . I know youre struggling with views and as a few others here are saying you should try doing some shorts , join a smp , try new challenges (ex modded minecraft) and keep doing it , i know there are people out there that would love your channel as much as we (the dallasmed community ) do . I hope you ll grow and reach more people . 🤙🏼

This series is gonna be dope! Love the sky islands idea, and that gradient with clay/light grey concrete powder/light grey wool/stone is so good! Don’t know why I never thought to use that combo. In Java the Wither is a pushover compared to Bedrock, but the rest of the mobs feel more deadly. Definitely gonna check this seed out, spawn looks cool!
Finally! A new hardcore series
And one that has the Normal look of Minecraft and not the RTX look which I hate.

Hey Dallas you should make pathway/bridge like structures coming off of each tower that crumbles at the ends making a perfect jump into the water but also making it look like it was once 1 massive castle but when the islands floated up it broke apart and also you could make smaller islands with parts of the pathways making parkour to get to each tower but if you fall well it's just water below

Since u will play on Java, u should try fresh animations resource pack it maks the game way more alive. I fell like u would rely like it.

Yes, Dallas do this. Go around your world and cover small things you’ve built. Grand father clock, chairs, tables ect..

If YOU want to continue watching this series then Dallas needs to find some way to grow his channel. It can’t last forever but expanding does extends the lifetime

This floating castle is actually so different it's very cool dalas. I can't say I've seen a build quite like it, and as a long time fan of the let's play I'm really excited for the hardcore series

You should terraform the cliff next to the floating islands; also remove the dirt at the base of said cliff so that there will be no accidental falls. Also add add guard rails to everything; the guardrails don’t have to be fences or walls. If you want more tips watch Linkzee he has 37,000 days of hardcore. Also amazing video I can’t wait to watch the next one.
This is getting long but I have more suggestions such as build a bunch of tiny floating islands that have pillars that hold up parts of the castle; also connect the buildings themselves with the bridges in a similar design to the castle walls.

How do you feel about this: When on Hard mode or Hardcore you have to be sneaky around villagers because if they catch you stealing from their chests then they get mad like when you hit them and there are 2 consequences. First trades become crap and second Golems go after you.
The shield controls did kill when I started playing hardcore in java after so long in bedrock. It took months for me to get used to it!

You should add the distant horizons mod so you can see more from your sky island base.

Also for the 1.21 update to work you have to turn on the data packs when you make the world or make a new world and go into the files and copy them to your worlds datapack file.
Also you don’t need to use the snapshots just use 1.20.6 or 1.21 when I comes out.

Have you ever wished they were more gamemods with twicks ? Like hardcore.
Maybe one you can only use certain type of tool, or you jump and run twice as fast.

Motte-and-bailey castle / Shell keep
(You get a Shell Keep when you fully upgrade the wooden motte-and-bailey to stone.)
Concentric castle
(Two or more curtain walls with cylindrical towers)
Norman architecture
(Quare exterior with Semicircular arches supported by massive cylinder pillars interior)
Château/Schlöss (French & German)
(country/manor house build for luxury but also for defensive purposes, no turrets and false battlements)
Palisade
(A wooden wall before it was upgraded to its stone counterpart)
Crusaders Castle
(large vaulted chambers with massive walls, (three meters thick) running between ex & interior walls to corner towers. castle life included from kitchens; stables; forges; bakeries and bath-houses.)
Medieval castles
(Moat, with or without water. Bastion barbican, gatehouse, curtain wall & towers, keep aka Don jon/great tower, bailey/inner ward area within the curtain wall)
A fort or fortress or fortification
is a castle that's is surrounded by a city (a city NEEDS to have a cathedral, a church that contains the Bishops' throne), and then the city is surrounded by a curtain wall
I would describe your castle by its exterior as a Norman Keep (besides that roof bad roof they didn't typically have hipped roof but some did have gable roof) please don't take this to heart to much its just the historical similarities of your castle and real world castles. (I study Medieval England)
20:51 replace that block on the edge with iron bar and the block you're standing on with upside-down stair therefore the iron bars won't connect. And thus you would have built a MACHICOLATION.
Since your on Java, im curious if you will try out Java Shaders, and how you will think of them compared to bedrock rtx!
I play on a old world without experiment on and I'm still in 1.20 I think and I have armadillos all over my world on PS4.
They spawn in Badlands Savannah Lanes and desert.
By the way you should build these floating islands in your let's play world.

Armadillos do spawn, they just aren’t such a common spawn, also you can breed them with spider eyes.
Hi Dallas, love the videos. I have a little idea for this world and maybe your main world. get yourself a dog that you take with you everywhere. give him a name, personallity, and a role so us the viewers get invested in him, giving us another reason to come back to watch the videos. I think this would add alot to your videos and the risk you are taking when exploring. Thanks!

Dallas instead of getting silk touch to put grass on your Island you could just put a bunch of dirt on there in whatever pattern that you want the the ground to be and then connect the dirt to the mainland
