    I bought my GD3 back in January for a steal with a slipping clutch. I never changed a clutch or even dropped a transmission before but I got it done. Working on these fits is a breeze

    Been following your journey with the fit and it is super entertaining. Thanks for sharing this content! Instant Sub. I didn't know that the fit engine + transmission are side-to-side inside the engine bay as opposed to the usual engine in the front and trans in the back layout. I wonder which layout is easier to work on?

      I would much rather do a Miata transmission job than to mess with this again.

    My 2009 GE8 was on the best cars I've ever owned and perfect for most situations except where high speed and acceleration were needed (like when I moved to GA).
    Only hard part about working on these cars was how tight certain spots can be and how much you had to remove to get to certain areas. Been thinking about getting another one with a manual.

      It is a little tight to work with but everything is so tiny that not having to wedge heavy things around makes it a little easier!
