Always been one of my all time favorites. Beautiful home. Man took care of his personal stuff and a world class artist. TY, King for the personal experience and look in your life.
Two words come to mind when I hear Memphis wrestling - Jerry Lawler. Mr Lawler you have an absolutely beautiful home. Thank you for the tour and thank you for always giving your fans 100 percent.
HEY, KING! Damn, Jerry, you got a NICE crib! I just remember learning so much from watching you and working with you and Jerry Jarrett in MEMPHIS! I was so green and screwed up so many times! Looks like you've got all you need, brother. Tell Jerry I said hello and that I SO appreciate what he (and you) did for my career! Geez, I miss those days, but I want to thank you for all your help. Loved working with you and I hope you continue with pro wrestling until you decide to retire. I did retire about 7 years ago and I will ALWAYS have good memories about you and Jerry Jarrett and Handsome Jimmy Valiant! (Spoke with him a few years back but last I heard was he was training guys for our SPORT) from one of your top fans, Go with GOD, my man! May HE continue to guide you on your journey. My wife and I just moved back to Indianapolis to be closer to our family. So, if you need a 71 year old jobber- DO NOT CALL ME!!!
Three comments: 1. If you're talking about the best in-ring performers ever, Jerry Lawler would definitely be on my Mount Rushmore, 2. Jerry's story about sending in artwork to Lance Russell was sweet, and 3. How in the hell did Jerry get that AWA belt away from Verne?!?
@@steveregal5821 The AWA belt was becoming defunct anyway through a unification with WCCW where Lawler defeated its champion Kerry Von Erich. Once WCCW became USWA, Lawler became their Unified Champion and a new AWA belt had to be made where Larry Zbyszko won a 20-man battle royal.
I met him at O'Hare Airport. I carried his bags to the plane. I love this guy. He's a very humble guy in real life. He's the King for a reason. He's been in the industry at least 35 plus years.
What a genuine all around well spoken and respectful man Jerry is and such a family man. Can really see him get a little bit emotional when he was showing his son's Brian's collection. And such a talent. Beautiful home Jerry
I enjoy watching your content on TKJL. Being from Louisville Ky, I can remember as a kid watching him on the weekends on channel 3 USWA before coming to the WWF. He seems like such a down to earth, good, genuine guy. As a fellow collector of vintage memorabilia, I'm in aw at his collections and artwork. Love hearing his stories too.
RIP to his son. Brian lawler. Too cool was such a fun tag team in wrestling. it must be gut wrenching the way he passed away. he's got such a nice home. The king Jerry lawler 👍
Absolutely amazing video. Ever since King did a very short house tour for WWE's RUclips channel in like 2012, I've been craving a full length tour. Every single time I see a piece of Coca-Cola merch I think of the King. An incredible storyteller. Thanks for doing this!
Man, I would love to hangout and shoot the shit with this man. Not just because he is Jerry the King either. This and other intimate interviews with him, you get the wit, charm, humor that you would expect but you can tell that the man is a real class act with a big heart. If the king is ever looking for an adoptive grandson/son to hang out with, contact Styx and let’s get in the mix!
One of the greatest use to love waking up on Saturday morning and watching the King and Lance Russell and the super star and Dutch Mantel and on and on it sucks that we all have to get old lots of great memories come back when ever I see the King God bless you King 👑
Jerry is proof that real life heroes exist. I grew up watching him wrestle and his name The King suits him perfectly. He is still the King and a walking talking legend.
Watching jerry speak about each thing and how he came about it reminded me so much of my father. Its been well over 25 years since my father passed away and watching this made it seem like dad was right there....
I've known for a long time, ever since Brian was in "Too Cool"... it was funny to hear King call his son's matches. He would intentionally throw in little digs here and there.
King would always praise Grand Master Sexay and JR would put little jabs in implying King had some connection with him. Was good banter between the 2. Best Commentary Team ever IMHO!
Definitely, the Man is amazing! A modern day Leonardo Da Vinci! A great wrestler, but it looks like art is truly his passion. A life well lived, we can learn a lot from him.
Who knew he was that much into comic books and superheroes good shit... omg I'd love just to have that huge incredible hulk or superman statue or life-size figurine idk what to call em
Weird how a man wants to tour another man's house. A old wrestler too...his son was grandmaster sexy??? Whaaaaaat. Explains why such a dumb gimmick got a push
Dear King, This is not a good idea. "Eff privacy, eh, King" Not a good idea, pull this video. Safety concerns. We NEED YOU ALIVE, JERRY, YOU ARE A F&&&&ing LEGEND!!! Please. I fear some may take this wrong way, like nameless fool did after reading article about Lennon's high-priced cow assets etc. Thanks, Love you,. Jerry. Just lookin' out ...for the kING. - NY xo
No offense but I'm about 15 minutes in and this guy is terrible. Top 10 donuts in the USA he replies World Famous. Nah bro. In the USA . He points to the living room and says you hang out here. Iconic Zorro cover. When was it done? Not that long ago. Where did they find this genius. Side note. The King is a legend! I wish alot of these wrestlers had half his mind and charisma
Topps did not make a Mickey Mantle card in 54. Another company had the rights at the time. He did not appear on Topps until 56. The one he has is a 1955 Bowman Mickey Mantle.

Pun intended but it's true. Jerry said "Paul I don't care about no damn house" ! Lol.. I think he said that because he was on the road most of the time anyway. Anyway too , I loved this video.
Funny how The King ALREADY has a microphone hooked up to himself as he open's the door and act's "Surprised"! Still Kayfabing all these years later!

Jerry still gets sad when he looks and remembers his fallen son. 🥺
um...duh!
The son hung himself, so I'm sure it's sad for Jerry every day to think about that.

What a great collection! And Jerry has lived such an interesting life. It must truly be great to be the King.
The King was never the big guy but had the best in ring psychology.
Legend. No one throws a punch like Lawler in modern wresling
Went to Memphis, got Gibsons Doughnuts and Jerry Lawlers Hall of Fame Bar and a Grill.
I love the fact that so many old school wrestlers are so creative & artistic!!
He was one of the best behind the table he was also a good wrestler fantastic artists love THE KING

Last comment. Life With Mikey! I love that movie, I'm going to see if I can find it streaming ASAP. Whatever happened to the lead child actress?
This was great! But the cameraman sucked.
Jerry is an avid conic book collector too. I hope he shows his collection

Met Jerry at a signing once and noticed I was bigger than him. I thought damn I could take him. Then it finally hit me hey man that's the King!

Cool video..Jerry was in a country music video of my cousin Clay Davidson..super man strong ..in 2000 or 2001 ..wonder if he remembers that..
I'm sorry it's I can't lie to me the song..
I wondered if big companies or celebrities have offered to buy some of Jerry's memorabilia, like the Batmobile?
