Wonderful ! Installed it on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS. It doesn't add an icon to the Applications button so you have to go to /opt/sdrconnect and manually run SDRconnect. I also had no sound output until I opened a third VRX which started sound working for me. I am sure these bugs will soon be fixed. Thank you SDRplay for finally releasing this software 🙂 EDIT: to enable sound on a single RX you have to change Sound setting in the dropdown menu from default to sysdefault (ALSA).

Hello...i have installed sdrconnect on my Ubuntu but how to for start it?. i have /opt/sdrconnect but i dont know how start it...thank for reply....stefano

Have got it running on a Pi4 in server mode. All fine! Took a while to find out that I had to install the 64bit OS version.
Now on my Ubuntu! Great work!
This is a very good tutorial. The installation seemed to work correctly. I have the SDR connect Icon in my "Other" start-up folder. However, the program won't launch. I am running Ubuntu Mate 20.04, with RSP1A. Any help would be appreciated. 73's De ka1sbn
I have just installed the software on my M1 Mac (Mac os Ventura 13.5) so far seems to working ok. Silly questioin where do I find the option for direct frequency entry via the keyboard. I hover my mouse pointer over the frequency, I can move frequency up and down with a left or right button click of the mouse. It looks like there is no option to type in the frequency I want there using the number keys. Is this option enabled, or am I missing somthing realy simple, Please could you help point me in the right direction? have been sdruno for a very long time so the gui of Sdrconnect is straight forward to me. I know it's currently in development it works good, looks good, runs smoothly with no stuttering on the audio, and easy to use on the M1 Mac. I would be greatful if you coud help, Keep up the good work! 73 de M3SNU.
Not yet implemented
You find the gui for direct entry the same place you find being able to see your mode or change it without going into drill down menus.... in another piece of software, this is rubbish.

Running Rpi4 with the x64 OS. I have no option available to accept licence agreement. I just have (END) after the licence agreement?
as per the video 6minutes 45 seconds in, follow the prompts ending with space, y return to complete the installation. If you still have a problem, please go to www.sdrplay.com/help and follow through to raise a ticket

the video is incorrect, you need to press Q where it says end. Then follow the prompt
I plugged my new RSP1B into my desktop before installing the SDRConnect software because I did not know ahead of time that was the wrong procedure. Now SDRConnect does not find the RSP1B. Does anybody know how to fix this? I'm thinking of installing SDR Uno and doing it right. Is that going to work now that I've already allowed the device to be installed by Windows when I plugged it in the first time?
Go to device manager and right click on the device and uninstall. Then run the installer again. If you still have problems come to the Help Centre and follow through to raise a support ticket and SDRplay will give you one to one help: www.sdrplay.com/help/
Any idea how to enable antenna C? Drop down under antenna only shows A and B? Tnx
Does not work for me, followed all the instructions, all installed fine as per this video, no error messages. When I try to run it I get the line "bash:/opt/sdrconnect/SDRconnect: cannot execute: required file not found" All the folders and SDRconnect file are present in the correct place and I've added the path to bashrc. Given up now. Instructions do not work.

Con mi Macbook air 2018 intel I5 no funciona, arranca el programa pero no reconoce o no encuentra mi RSP1A, al dar al play no trabaja y no aparece identificado el RSP1A.
Verify your RSP1A appears in the System Report.

I can't see this video and it goes way too fast for me to comprehend. I'm not good with Linux. Is there text instructions somewhere? That would make it so much easier or even better put it into the raspberry repository so we can just sudo apt install.

All you have to do is download the file, make it executable and then run it! ./filename

download what file? there is no direct link in the description that i can see. it would be helpful to know what RPi software to download as well@@SDRplayRSP

On Raspberry Pi 3 B it didn’t work

Supported Operating systems:
Windows - 10, 11 and later - 64-bit only. Note SDRconnect will NOT run on anything earlier than Windows 10, so please don’t ask for Windows 8/7/XP etc. It is not possible to compile for these older operating systems with the tools used for the development of SDRconnect.
Linux x64 - Canonical Ubuntu 22.04LTS and later LTS releases *
Linux ARM64 (aarch64) - Raspberry Pi OS (64bit) - Bullseye derived (we recommend the Raspberry Pi 4B or better)
MacOS x64 - 10.15 (Catalina) and onwards
MacOS ARM64 (Apple Silicon) - 13.0 (Ventura) and onwards

"Built in support for all model RSPs except the original RSP1" Is it a shame that there is no RSP1 support for SDRconnect?
I bought it officially in 2016 and I enjoy using it to this day.
This is just disrespect for your customers.
How can I work in SDRconnect with my RSP1?
Perhaps there are some software tools, what would it work?
I use Windovs 11
NOTE if you have a old sdrplay sdr RSP 1 do not download this program it will not work only for 1A and up don't waste your time.
