Main question is, what does Lukas find out when he reaches the bottom of the Silo? Who speaks to him? Why do they reveal something to him that makes him disillusioned (I guess they tell him that his Silo might be picked to be exterminated)? Also, what does he say to Mayor Bernard that makes him get so disillusioned. Thank you for doing this video. It explains a lot.
This is becoming a silly story. It makes no sense to have 50 eggs and wanting only one to hatch if you are concerned with "survival." If you were worried that the silos would become adversarial, then you would simply unite them as a single culture and interconnect them. Not to mention the waste of precious resources involved in such a stupid "plan."
It is something like a flagship series where Apple TV+ forked out so much money to lure people into a subscription. 😊 And this epic series of Apple TV+ series based on the books represent a fiction works which is sometimes based on the books and adding twists.

At this point, they had lost control over Silo 17. Safeguard and all that have been disabled in Silo 17, so there was nothing they could do. In the final book, Dust, Juliette and the other survivors made it to the "seed" where the atmosphere is breathable. However, the area surrounding the Silos does not become livable.
As a reader of the books I really appreciate your channel and how you convey the fascination of the story. 😊
