Just to inform you that I have been promoted. Thank you so much for your informative videos. They have helped me a lot to crack my interview rounds. Love from India ❤❤
Hi and thanks for your suggestion 🙂 I will keep this in mind. However, as the main topics covered on my channel are focused on AML and Financial Crime prevention I will see if those banking products can be integrated somehow in one of my future videos.
This is such a simple yet effective approach. Thanks for sharing your view! Do you happen to have examples for critical juristictions for this approach and the implementation of AI? Any legislations in the EU that are not yet on board? Germany comes to mind immediately.
Hi Nati, thanks for commenting on my video. The open approach to implement and rely more on new technology (including AI) is backed by a number or papers including the 2021 FATF OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR AML/CFT see > www.fatf-gafi.org/media/fatf/documents/reports/Opportunities-Challenges-of-New-Technologies-for-AML-CFT.pdf ). However, when those changes are to be actually implemented in the current financial crime / AML ecosystem it can be more challenging than expected to get a regulatory approval. Unfortunately I don’t think I can/want actually name jurisdictions for having a more or less conservative approach in terms of rolling out latest tech like AI… Things can change and I don’t think it would be appropriate for me to name any. Also do keep in mind that those discussions will take place privately between the institutions keen to adopt those new tech and its regulators, so there is also a relationship and trust element to keep into account there. This is probably not the answer you were looking for but still I hope making some clarity about that topic. Thanks again for being on my channel, I am glad that you are finding valuable my videos 👍🏻
@@FinCrimeAgent it actually helps and I like your reply. It gives me a better picture of how institutions and regulators interact and even though one can have assumptions it wise to just keep observing the market and not jump to conclusions. Thanks again 😅
