Hi there, our (new to us 2 yrs ago) 2001 Utah camper came with 2 stabilizers jacks, one on each end. My question is should there be a total of 4 stabilizers jacks? I couldn't really tell by the video @ the 3:36 mark, which the stab.jacks are identical to our pop up. Your videos are extremely helpful and thanks so much for your help with my concerns!!
I have not seen an Utah with just two stabilizers to my recollection. I took a look at your parts book, and see in page two there are indeed 4 mounting plates called out for 4 jacks. 17 inch versions were factory.
Thanks for this video it is very helpful for the stabilization jacks but now what I need is help with the Swing down Tongue Mounted Jack with a wheel. The pin on the handle broke off of ours & we either need to fix it or replace it. It appears to be welded to the tongue but I don't know if there is some special way to remove & replace it or if it can be fixed. Any suggestions? Thanks
My utah has to scissor jacks in the back & The front has screw down with sand pads. which set is a better & is better for a 20 year old pop up. is it personal prefe
Do the holes lineup for the three bolts in the same spots for the 17 and 20 inch? Is there any reason why you wouldn’t go ahead and replace with a 20 inch instead of the 17 inch? In another video you said the 17 inch was for “up to 14 inches of ground clearance” on the 20 inch was for “up to 16 inches of clearance”. Which to me means the 20 inch stabilizer jack will work in all applications plus some. Am I thinking about this correctly?
So I currently a 2005 Coleman sea pine have swing down looking T replacing them with either scissor jacks or the 17 inch. Will we need anything else just the jack
I have a 2005 Fleetwood pop up with swing down jacks..my manual stresses more than once throughout the manual to never lower your stabilizers until after the roof is raised and when lowering the roof, stabilizers should be raised before lowering..they say if you don't do it this way it could damage the lift system ... HELP lol
If the steps for your model say to follow this procedure, then I would say continue to do so. It's been my experience (more than once) if I don't lower them right away I sometimes forget. I've made more than one pop up camper do a wheelie by starting to set up the rear bed without the stabilizers down.

Good morning Derek,Where would I be able to locate /purchase a 2001 Coleman Utah Owner's manual? Once again thanks for your help.
@@darlenekneebone9070 find them free on our website colemanpopupparts.com
Wonder what people are using to recondition and waterproof the VINYL tent canopy of the pup up trailer canvas.
I would recommend checking your local hardware stores for vinyl conditioner.

Lisa, you will find a large C ring holding the jack to the mount. Invest in a pair of C ring pliers for removal in installation.
With swing down Jack's, the two bolts to mount with, are the new screws that mount the new swing arm entered into the existing hole?
Most of the time yes. Sometimes new mounting holes may be required.

Both will work just fine.

You are correct! They both line up to the bolts exactly the same, and a 20 will work in place of a 17.

Hello Larry! You will also need mounting plates. The can be easily fabricated from plate steel.
