In my opinion, Syu is one of the greatest modern neoclassical guitarists, not just in japan, but in metal in the world right now! Keeping the melodic shredding alive. (Since malmsteen cant anymore, hehe)

If you want a metal band that also likes solo's thry "Unlucky Morpheus - Black Pentagram", who by the way use Galnesryus's current drummer. Also the singer did 2 songs on SYU's latest album.

Some of that was technically brilliant, but I found the song a little...boring...? Maybe that's a bit harsh, it was good, but there's only so much of that widdling riffage I can take until it feels like overkill.
I'm probably just jealous to be fair haha.
Not as good as Angel of Salvation. I think there were too many changes and I also couldn't quite get into the song.
The original version from hxh fits better tbh
