i just cleared out a room for my bulk storage and was getting ready to build it and saw this, i’m now building this because it fits my needs a lot better.
if you are interested, we have developed much more compact hybrid loaders in STD, we even have ones that work in the ceiling and floor so you can have 4 items/slice if you wish. Also I don’t think a box display is really necessary here.
I knew hoppers had an order, but I couldn't remember which was which. Game changer. I'm finally to the point where I'm actually starting to truly understand redstone in general where I can fix or troubleshoot something without having to constantly refer to the schematic/tutorial.
I’d like to meet this ‘placing chests’ fellow, seems cool. I love that you did a storage tech video! I don’t know much about redstone in general, but my prime interest, regardless, is storage slices. I look around on the storage tech discord a lot even though I don’t have a clue about a lot of the circuitry. Still learned a lot from your video, as usual, thank you again!
This was Exactly what I've been looking for! (kind of) I've since modified the design to have normal item storage infront in a single chest/barrel, and moved the shulker box storage to upper chests. Phenomenal Video!
I actually kinda like this but think i would cut the shulker display off and see if i cant bring the chest forward so i can just grab shulkers. Great work
Built something similar for my world. rather than displaying shulker boxes as you can just get items from the chests it loads the full boxes into a chest so if you need a full box, grab one, if you just need a stack grab from the loose item chests. I wasn't able to make it 1 wide but it is 2 wide tileable.
Hi 2 questions, why to block all the filter sistem when shulker chest are full and block the possibility to take items from the chest to with out shulkers (because I think they will not get refilled in that case) instead of blocking only the shulker dispenser? Second question why not move out the last shulker chest to be accesible from the front instead to dispens a shulker at the time?
Well it’s definitely a cool design but having only 1 item per slice is not enough for many people (2 if you count the other side) it means you’d have to deal with super long halls

Can you block the top Chest of the three normal item storage ? Basically placing a stair in front of it ? Because I don’t want 3 chests it’s too much

Accessible shulker loaders are generally despised by the Storage Tech community so I gather. They find them a bit cringe.
