Jar Jar had the Sith colored eyes...he was originally supposed to be the true "Phantom Menace" in the prequels, but the character was so universally hated in the first movie, that Lucas had to change course.
Very nice job! As a child, I was always disappointed in these type masks, not only because they looked cheesy, but also because they never covered your entire head. And the masks that DID cover your entire head, were always made out of floppy rubber. Even the expensive, supposedly professional masks that sold in magazines for ridiculous amounts of money, were just soft rubber. Or if it was something like a Darth Vader helmet, it would be a face mask with basically a hat for the back portion, rather than a real helmet that enclosed your entire head.
@freddiekrueger8715 I make the twin analogy because that is a Real Life example of same genetics, different people, for identical twins. In Star Wars, the obvious would be to point at the all the other Clones, same genes, different people. Boba may be more like Jango than the rest because Jango raised him, but he's not exactly the same. Ironically they have some strong life event parallels, what with losing a father at a young age, and losing a family, but Boba survived his death and has moved to build something stable for himself, and for Tattooine.
Being an artist is great because you can turn any crappy item into a really good one. I'm no artist but I gotta say I like the kinds of things artists like you do
These videos inspired me to start doing this sort of thing for both my families Halloween costumes as well as costumes for plays and haunted houses, it’s way less expensive to get the cheep stuff from Walmart and make it look expensive like this, not to mention how fun it is! Thank you so much
When my kids were much younger we used to go shopping for pumpkins at halloween, when we got them home they would choose that years favourite character from TV or film and I would carve the pumpkin to look like the character and then paint it (obviously not nearly as good as these paint jobs, but enough like the original to keep them happy) over the years they had Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) and Stitch's pink girlfriend (one boy and one girl BTW) Spiderman, a green power ranger, a skull and on one memorable and very difficult occasion, the cover from My Chemical Romance's Black Parade album. Then they got too old for such indulgences and I've missed doing it ever since. When they have kids of their own I might suggest starting the painted pumpkin tradition again. I've learned a bit more about painting and have an airbrush now so I might be able to produce better results for the next generation. (Or maybe not lol, I'm not much of an artist)
I am impressed I have used liquid latex before while doing special effects makeup but I have never thought about using it like this It is absolutely genius
I started customizing cheap masks and cheap figures and make em look way more movie accurate, gotta thank you so much for getting me back into art and focusing on my hobbies. Love your videos and you're an amazing artist
I remember once I bought a Jango Fett costume, and thought it looked ok, but then one day before Halloween, my dad spray painted it to look more accurate to Episode:2. Good old times.
After studying the boba Fett helmet for a project of my own, the dark part of the helmet is not actually black. The helmet is two colors. Green and red around the visor. The dark part of the helmet is actually the shadow cast by the shape of the helmet.
The only problem is that after all that effort and skill that went into these, I’d never want to actually wear them for Halloween in case they get messed up😂
I think your work is severely underrated. You continue to amaze me almost every day, and you deserve way more. I bet the movie prop business needs you working with them, because you are AWESOME at what you do. Have a great day!
I have to ask because personally, I’ll never know. Does it suck being so damn talented? You were thrown into my algorithm(not sure how or why because I never look for anything even remotely close to this) but I’m really stoked you were recommended. Your work is really kick ass!!!! I look forward to checking out the rest of your videos. Cheers!!!! 🍺🍺🍺🍺
Watching this guy is like watching Bob Ross. Each time he does something I don't understand, I'm like, "Oh see now you done messed it up.." and then ten seconds later I get reminded that I have no idea what I'm talking about.
I love how the repaints of Maul and Jar Jar were relatively subtle, but when compared to the original looked like living beings. Beautiful work.
But chewbaccas was so realistic as-well, they all looked amazing you can’t really point out better ones!
🤮
You and I have different meanings for subtle.
I was thinking the same thing
That Darth Jar Jar cameo at the end was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

Who am I kidding, obviously you went that route 👏👏
TRUE 👍
I can only hear your voice reading your comment, lol.
Very nice job!

Was a little sad when you turned Jango into boba, but it still looks super great lol
Also just visually more interesting than solid silver or blue
I feel it is poetic. Jango's armour became Boba's.

@freddiekrueger8715 Only as much as twins are the same person.

Have to say, the Chewbacca mask is my favorite repaint. You really made it live like.
I agree with you, Chewbacca was my favorite one too! I am a big fan of Chewbacca!
I just sat and watched all three of these re paint videos in a quiet room with the volume down. Good stuff right there!
There was more love and effort put into this than star wars 7,8,9 lmao

It's amazing how much you can transform a cheap mask into something lifelike with a little paint and some patience!
Yes!!! The “Sith Lord” at the end was a hoot!! You are amazing!!!!!
I am impressed I have used liquid latex before while doing special effects makeup but I have never thought about using it like this It is absolutely genius
Uber satisfying!!

The legend returns
It's crazy how adding just the hair on the Chewie one makes it look 100X better. Nicely done!
Ok… I was skeptical at the Chewbacca approach at first but holy moly did you deliver! Astonishing work as always!! Well done. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
They look so realistic.. Far far better than what they were. Very well done.
Another great video! I would love to see a Jar Jar sculpt. Both regular, and as a Sith Lord!
Welcome back bro
Imagine having a dad who does that type of thing as a kid, the DREAM.
I think it's really cool thematic transition from Jango Fett to Boba, love the weathering you did on the paint job
I think he should be called Darph Maur with those Phteven teef. 🤣 4:53
Dude, the Chewie mask looks amazing. That's a fantastic job.
I was hoping that you’d just torch the Jar Jar mask, but you saved it at the end :). Great work.
The best videos from this channel. Really gets you into spoopy season spirit.

Just changing maul’s mouth from opened to closed made it a thousand times better
That ending though! Nicely done.
The improved Chewie looks so great! ❤
After muting the video I really enjoyed the transformation and the process. You did a great job.
Love the Chewbacca mask. It's my favorite. Great work.
So brilliant new technique in the first 53 seconds! That’s going to go far for some minis and models, thanks!
You sir are an artist
Wow! The Maul one looks so much better! I think that's my favorite one this year.
Dang a true master at work!!
Kudos mate
I fully expected him to toss the jar jar mask in the trash as a joke. Nevertheless, the end results for all of them were great!
Yes!!! Chewy and the real fur!!! Way to go man!
I remember once I bought a Jango Fett costume, and thought it looked ok, but then one day before Halloween, my dad spray painted it to look more accurate to Episode:2. Good old times.
I would love to see Jar Jar Sculpt :) Amazing Work!
3:55 Chewbacca looks like a werewolf
This guy posted part three on my exact birthday
That Mandalorian mask was amazing
I love how he made the horrible Chewbacca look good that’s real talent
I love this series! Your work with an airbrush is fantastic! Hope to see more of these repaints soon!
Very nice chipping technic 👍👍
Some damn fine painting really did a miracle on those cheap plastic masks. Shit, they look great after the repaint.👏
I love how the Jango mask was perfectly fine, you just decided to turn it into Boba Fett.
I literally waited for a Darth Jar Jar reference the entire video... And I wasn't disappointed at the end 😁
You could buy two and fill one in to make up the back of the helmet , or a bowl inside it and then wrap a sheet of card
Lmao that Darth jar jar caught me off guard SO BAD 😂.
Remarkable work man thoroughly enjoyed watching the video throughout 👍

Cool! Covers up that lead filled Chinese paint rather well!
my guy went above and beyond for that chewy. well actually, he does everything above and beyond

Yayyyy more Halloween masks! I like how you gave Jar Jar a full blank canvas first... like nah, this one needs started from scratch!

I'm so glad I subscribed to you last night, I love these.
Man this makes me think how awesome a sculpture of Maul would look. You should do one!
whatever I thought you were going to do with Chewie was not expecting that! so gooooood!
Great work mate. Fun video!
Real satisfaction videos. Really enjoyable.
Cool! Good work.. But if I'm being picky the helmet should be green
Yeah that really bothers me, surprised nobody else is talking about that
