Original battery, (Yuasa) in my 2004 Prado lasted 14 years. Never off road, 150,000 klms. Replaced with another one the same.

Auto Electric guy up here in FNQ, said the optima are the best batteries up here for hot, harsh rough conditions . We bought it and it is great with all the extras .
Do not comprise on your battery, get YUASA/CENTURY, just make sure that is there is vent hole.

That battery was sold with the car at two years and 60,000 km still behaving just like a new one got a new one two years ago in the new vehicle it’s done 60,000 km still be having like a new one
